Great location, see the eruption easy. But not-so-good food. The eatery was below average level. Morning coffee shop was OK. Afternoon ice cream was good, too.

We came to see Old Faithful on 5-30-2022 and it was cold outside and the expected eruption time was 45 minutes away, so we decided to eat in the cafeteria. We found a table for two by a window that overlooks the large front porch. We had the BBQ food and bought two drinks. I thought it was good because I expected it to be worse. We tried the carbonated water drinks and the mango one was better. They have a big condiment table in the main dining area. Total price $31.94.There was a young man bussing the tables, but it would be a good idea if they made it easier for us to clear off our own dishes. As we left, we noticed a place that seemed like we could have brought our plates, but it wasn't obvious enough to know for sure.

The cafeteria is on the opposite side of the Old faithful Hotel. The service is good. There are ample chairs and tables. The foods aren't of great taste, but if you are hungry, it is good to fill your tummy. You can see the old faithful eruption from the cafeteria porch.

I stopped here for a bite and I'm sorry to say I was very disappointed. I went to the BBQ station and got the pulled pork sandwich with two sides. The cole slaw had something spicy in it, which wasn't good, but the mac & cheese was alright. The sandwich was dry, but the BBQ sauce was good. I also purchased a cookie and it was hard as a rock.

The cafeteria has some options with burgers, rice bowls etc. the vegan rice bowl with gardenia tofu with veggies and pesto was pleasantly satisfying. Right across the old faithful geyser. There are some options inside around the cafeteria overlooking the geyser

food was scary. we didn’t eat anything except the rice because we were scared by the food. service was kind but no one seemed enthusiastic about the quality of the food. i think the photo speaks for itself. we ordered rice bowls with chicken after being scared by the shrimp. and to think my partner and I spent $30 on this.

Mid at best. The menu prices are okay. The hot food is average (pulled pork sandwich), but the cold food (sandwhiches) is left in the ice cooler for days. Eat somewhere else if you have the chance.

We’ve eaten in National Parks all over the country, and this place must have been the worst place to eat anywhere. The Chinese food was so NOT Chinese and it was an insult not only to the Chinese Americans but also to the entire Chinese population. And the Bison sausages were way way overcooked. I would definitely avoid this cafeteria if at all possible.

My expectations weren't high and I still came away feeling disappointed. I could have made a better dish in a microwave.I got Chinese noodles with chicken - the only flavor was ginger, and the chicken looked like it was from the bargain bin and frozen for months. The instant ramen I cooked shortly after tasted like a 5 star meal in comparison!Coffee came from a vending machine and could not taste the coffee in it.

Pork BBQ was salty but plentiful. Grilled corn side was overcooked. Baked beans were so-so. The plastic wrapped cookies were rather stale, especially the oatmeal raisin. Everything expensive. Would not return. The view of Old Faithful was the best thing about the place.

Very good and fairly priced. They have options! They had asian food, Mexican, American, and vegetarian options. Dessert and soda. It was fast easy and good.Great Mac and cheese (it’s made with white cheese not your typical cheap yellow one) and the Buffalo sausage it’s yummy!

A beautiful location, a beautiful building, but the food here was not good. This is a convenient place to grab a bite to eat just steps away from Old Faithful, but the food is overpriced and less than mediocre. My burrito was $10 and it was the size of a Taco Bell bean burrito, stone cold and the rice was of the cheapest quality, seriously like middle school food. Sad! They should turn this place into an amazing food court!

Skip the foods here if you not really hungry. Go buy some frozen foods or instant ramen noodles from general store nearby. See the pictures and enough said.

Summary: Food 2/5, Quality 2/5, Cost 3/5, Service 2/5Be prepared to wait in a line for around 20-30 minutes to get food. The menu is listed outside when you’re waiting in line, but they do not update it if they don’t have an item. If you’re vegan, be sure to ask what they have prior to getting in the line. After waiting in line, I was told that the barbecue jackfruit had only been available once in the whole season that they’ve had it on the menu. When I asked very politely staff outside where you have to form the line to make updates so that folks don’t wait in line when their item is available, they just stared at me and said nothing. The positive though is that for any vegetarians/vegans they do have the Gardein protein available with the noodles and gardein barbecue sausage in lieu of the jackfruit.

The beef and broccoli dish at the old faithful lodge was abysmal. The beef was tough, the broccoli oversteamed, and the basically non existent sauce was bad at best. It lacked flavor and visual appeal and is easily the worst food I've eaten in recent history, if not ever.

We picked up a sandwich at the Old Faithful Lodge Bake Shop that was big enough for the two of us. We went into the Cafeteria found a table and ate there with a view of Old Faithful. When we finished we went out on the porch and sat in a couple rocking chair and watched Old Faithful shoot water and steam up out of a tan cone of geyserite. Quite a good time.

Well, it's a cafeteria. That's where all tourists go after the Old Faithful erupts. Opens at 11:00 am.The food is OK and the staff is friendly.Plenty of seating.

The lodge was pretty nice on the inside but looks a bit dated on the outside. The food was very expensive, but that’s to be expected.

The food wasn’t good. I was expecting a lot better quality being at the Lodge. We got the rice bowl with beef and chicken (not good at all). The kids got a hot dog and it didn’t look good but I guess tasted okay. The BBQ pork sandwich was okay and probably the best tasting out of all the food we got. It does have a great view of Old Faithful which we stayed and watched.

$28 for lunch for two seems a bit steep, even with the National Parks premium I expected to pay. We ordered BBQ chicken - sauce poured on top, came with coleslaw, dinner roll, and two sides - mashed potatoes and corn. All served off of a buffet, so had been sitting there for a while. My son had a rice bowl with chicken and green onions. He said it was good, but also served off a steam table. We skipped beverages due to the prices. Once we got to the dining room, finding a clean table was near impossible. Most of the tables had remains of previous diners meals on them. There's no place to bus your own table, so you're stuck waiting for their non-existent staff to clear space. Fortunately, we found two seats with a view of Old Faithful - but the rest of the table had dirty dishes on it.One star for this place, but one extra star as Old Faithful erupted while we were eating.

Got food from the pulled pork station. It was really good and even had tofu BBQ options, with two choice sides. Beans and Mac and cheese are award winning! Workers were so friendly. We appreciate you :)

Awesome location, Terrible food. The price is a ripoff and the menu here is equivalent to a school cafeteria if not worse! Mashed potatoes tasted like sour milk and vegetables were overcooked super low quality. Never eating here again. Food is far, far below meeting reasonable expectation for the price. Better off bringing your own food and cooking it on a propane stove from your trunk.

Hospital food at a tourism prices. And the whole “cafeteria style” serving is nauseating. I would have packed a lunch if I knew how bad the food was gonna be. After trotting around the park for hours you would think anything would be satisfying but this is really just no good. It’s old dried up food sitting under heat lamps for hours. Pack a picnic!

Was the food overpriced? Yes. Was it delicious after a long day of hiking? Also yes. Sometimes you just need rib-sticking food and you don't really care if it's gourmet or a good price. In this case, we appreciated this dining option.

Just as okay as the Geyser Grill, not impressive. If you need a quick bite, don't go around lunch time. You either should bring your own food to Yellowstone, or opt for these two places as a last resort.

They have decent salads, my kids both like their BLTs, my daughter said the Mac & Cheese was the highlight of her trip, and their pulled pork was good, if basic. On the other hand, the baked beans were undercooked, the coleslaw had no flavor, the soda machines didn't have ice and were out of syrup on multiple flavors, and their stock of other drinks was limited. Overall, it felt like the system was poorly organized. They were dealing with COVID restrictions, but they've had months to get things smooth. Though the staff were helpful and good-natured, it was easy to see they were tired and harried.I would avoid the cafeteria (and the nearby restrooms, which need more frequent cleaning) until they're staffed well enough to handle the large crowds. It's a pity, since it's so convenient to Old Faithful.

We had the rice bowl. We are driving from Tampa Florida cross country to Tacoma. This has been the worst meal on our trip. Not worth the money. Veggies and rice were mushy/severely over cooked and chicken was dry. No Asian flavor what so ever. May want to go somewhere else.

Have you ever wondered what a vegetable sandwich popsicle would be like? Then eat here. Frozen and a little bit soggy because the sandwiches were sitting on actual ice - if it had been room temp it probably would have been great.

The cabins were great as a place to sleep and shower while exploring the local attractions. Not as great as some of the other cabins in the park due to size, location and layout. The cafeteria did take sometime, and they are not doing indoor dining. Grabbed food there and headed to the benches around Old Faithful to watch the show.
