It's always such a fun stop on my way through Ten Sleep. They're always up to something new and eager to talk about what they're doing. If you're on a family trip or just passing through by yourself, your time won't be wasted when you stop in the Hatchery. Bring a camera and some quarters. Take in the environment and appreciate the view. It's a refreshing stop along a scenic road.

We'd never been to a fish hatchery. It was so clean (the thing we noticed first), the men working there were very helpful and friendly explaining things to us.

There really isn't much to look at here. Once you've seen one tank of baby fish, you feel like there isn't anything different. While I enjoy fish and fishing, I'm not a fishing fanatic, so maybe this would be a thrill for others? 5 stars because this place is beautiful and well-maintained. I was hoping for more information since we homeschool, and a gift shop or something. Plan ahead and bring your own snacks and drinks if you have kids.

Quietly, on the edge of Highway 16 out of Ten Sleep, WY, is the best fish hatchery I've ever been to. It's so clean and the grounds are beautiful! The workers are knowledgeable and encourage questions. Bring quarters for the fish food machines.

This was the best fishery I have ever been to. It is really informative and the grounds are beautiful. You will see different stages of fish. It is very clean and well kept.

They have done a fabulous job with the appearance of this place. It was fun to feed the fish. I learned about fish I had never heard of before.

Neat hatchery with so many lil fishies in huge tanks/pools and ponds. They have splake, trout, and salmon. Very impressive facility that makes you appreciate the helping hands needed to keep Wyoming beautiful and diverse. Bring a few quarters because you can feed some of them (although I only got 4 pellets...) Worth the stop if you're driving by route 16!

Ten out of ten. This place is a good place to take the kids. Mine absolutely loved it and they even enjoyed learning about the fish. I would highly recommend visiting if you are around.

Self guided tour. Be sure to save some quarters so you can feed the larger trout. Kids love doing this!
