Very helpful staff in this quaint town. Directed me on four visits to the correct isles I needed saving my time on items needed for a friend's projects. I'd give you five stars, but geez your smaller items are overpriced guys. $4.99 for a 4 pk of plastic mirror mounts is $2 too much.

I love most Ace Hardware stores due to superb customer service, but I can say that the Powell Ace is the worst I've ever been to. I go in there on a regular basis and have never been asked if I need help finding something, although Ace is supposed to be the helpful place. The floor layout is not very user friendly, and staff frequently walks by me obviously searching for things.My biggest concern, however, is yesterday one of the staff members actually mocked me behind my back. I was purchasing something that had a tag reading, "buy 2 get 1 free." When I got to the counter, the lady helping me told me that the sale was not on the Ace brand but of another brand. I told her the tag placement was misleading and that I only wanted to buy one filter now. As I was walking out the door she made a nasty face and mocked everything I had just said. I happened to glance back, as exiting, to see her poor customer service skills. I was quite offended and incredibly disappointed in the poor customer service; I truly expect more from "the helpful place" employees. This store has lost my business.

Powell ACE should be your first stop when doing any project. They have a little bit of everything and are conveniently located in downtown Powell. Their staff is knowledgeable and friendly. If they do not have exactly what you are looking, they can order it in or help you find another solution. Great staff and huge variety. Highly recommended.

I am particularly fond of thos hardware store. It is exceptionally well stocked. Their selection is great and the staff are SO courteous and professional. This establishment is obviously well managed.

Quick trip to pick up a new battery for my car. Price was far less than the same one in Lovell. We called ahead, walked in, gave our name, and were quickly on our way back home. It pays to shop around!!

We called ahead to see if they had crickets and were informed they did. Upon arrival, we were rudely told by the older lady that she "won't touch them, but you can do it yourself." They actually didn't have crickets like they said on the phone (not the issue here), but the woman was extremely and needlessly rude when she told us "I don't know who you talked to, but I guess you're just out of luck then." We have heard others talk about how horribly rude the new worker is and were shocked to find they were right. We've never had problems here before though. Big yikes from me.

Big store, lots of stuff. The staff never ask if they can help anyone and when you do ask for help they just point and say over there. Much more helpful staff at the Cody Ace, have gotten expert advice, too. I shop there when I can.

Sale prices are actually decent as of late. Virtually most items needed to fix anything. It is nice to have nearby. Invariably they have the right part you need.

Poor customer service. Nobody acknowledged I was there until I asked for some help. There were at least 6 people working, only one was helping a customer, so I should have been helped. But it is like that everytime I go in there. I have to go there because they are the only ones that sell live pet food.
