We came to Turpin Ranch for horse back riding and our group had the absolute pleasure of having Madeline as our leader. Not only was she so Informative and put everyone at ease, she was so fun and easy going with our group of pretty novice riders. She made our experience SO fun. The ranch itself is absolutely beautiful and the ride up is breathtaking. Would highly recommend adding this to your to do list if you’re in the area!

My family had an incredible trip and hope to visit again soon! Couldn’t have asked for better views, food or service. We had a great time hiking, horseback riding and fishing. Everyone on the staff that we interacted with was so friendly! Erin and Hillary were so nice and accommodating at the front desk. My husband wouldn’t have caught as many fish without Carter’s help and Madelyn gave me the tips I needed to enjoy my horseback ride. Highly recommend visiting Turpin Meadow Ranch!

Sometimes you visit a new place, and you already know you’re going to miss it when you leave. That’s how we felt about Turpin Meadow when we arrived. It’s immediately obvious what a special place this is and how much love and care has gone into the entire guest experience—from the gorgeous spaces to the fun activities to the people who make it all happen. Thank you Hillary and Erin for helping us with our plans for the week and being friendly, helpful faces throughout our stay. We loved getting to know you.Every team member we interacted with during our stay at the Ranch displayed a sense of pride and joy at being at the Ranch. They truly seem to enjoy each other and the guests. We did activities through the Ranch every day—fly fishing, horseback riding, and private tours. All activities were top notch and made for some very special memories (and great photos) with our kids—and our guides were fun and knowledgeable (thank you Carter, Jamison, Brenna, and John!).We stayed in one of the Chalets at the Ranch. It was a great space for our family—beautifully decorated and very clean. Many an afternoon was spent reading on the lovely front porch with a view of the Tetons. The food at the Ranch was farm to table style and delicious. Breakfast (included in the room cost) varied each day and had a lot of thought and care in the selections (not just a basic breakfast). We would eat lunch at the Ranch most days and dinner in the lodge (reservations recommended). The chefs were able to accommodate a gluten allergy in our group with no issues. The bar within the lodge is lovely, and we had some fun times playing ladder golf on the lawn while drinking some craft cocktails from the bar (thank you Katie!).Thank you Turpin Meadow for one of the best family vacations we have ever had. We won’t forget our time there and hope to have an opportunity to return some day.

Stunning location, unforgettable experiences and top notch service. Tucked away in a nice quiet valley with breath taking views of the Tetons. Did a wild life tour with John. Extremely knowledgeable and friendly, making the experience very fun. Got to see a lot of beautiful wild life.We also did a horse ride with Klint. You could tell how well the horses were taken care of and once again Turpin had fantastic staff. Klint made the experience very entertaining, even with my experience with horses and equestrian girlfriend, but still felt very safe and comfortable.

Went on the 1/2 Day Guided Snowmobile Tour and had a blast. The views were incredible and our tour guide, Clint, was charming and knowledgeable. He chose the best spots to hop off the snowmobiles and get fantastic photos with a couple of snowball fights in between. Beforehand we stopped and had lunch which was so cozy and delicious (the tomato bisque and sandwich was to die for). This was the second snowmobile tour I have ever been on (first with a different company/location) and my favorite.

My wife and I took a half day snowmobile tour at the ranch. The experience was great and exceeded our expectations. Klint, our guide, was fun, professional and knowledgeable. The whole team at the ranch was great. Next time will probably do a whole day tour. I highly recommend this place and the snowmobile tours for new and experienced riders. Oh, forgot, lunch was delicious.

We just did a horseback riding tour with them. The horses were well taken care of which is my main concern when doing this type of tour. Our guide was very nice and watched out for everyone. The ride through the hills was beautiful. It wasn't a dusty trail ride that you see sometimes. It was through pretty hills. We all really enjoyed it.

Absolutely the best horseback riding experience in 40 years. Upon arrival the scenery around the ranch is beautiful. It was a little difficult to find someone when we arrived since there was a private event going on. Our Wrangler was Rachel and we couldn't of asked for anyone better. Me, my husband and sister in law were the only ones on the ride which was great. Rachel gave us so much information on the trail ride, including about the history of the Tetons, about Yellowstone and surrounding areas. Rachel also checked on us to make sure we were still comfortable in our stirrups and saddle. Rachel took us on a 4.5 hour ride through the forest up onto the ridge to see the amazing Tetons. She even pointed out bear tracks and animal bones. My horse, Babs was super sweet and gentle among with her boyfriend Monroe and Beer Money. All the horses at the ranch are exceptionally cared for and in great shape ( I would know, I'm in the Veterinary field). I would highly recommend this place for an adventure and more.PS what also made this ride so great, was when Rachel new how much I wanted to see bear tracks, she made sure to stop and get pictures for me

We stayed last weekend and everything was amazing but what stood out the most was the service. I’ve worked in hospitality for over 10 years and I would want every single one of these employees on my team! Myra who cooked breakfast made the best macadamia nut waffles I’ve ever had! Isaac was the most friendly and genuine bartender! And our server at dinner, who’s name I don’t remember, but he was really tall, also a very genuine and kind human!

We just did a horse trail ride at this Ranch. We found the horses to be very well taken care of. Our Trail Guide Rachel was so knowledgeable about the area. Her passion For the Love of the horses and her Riders definitely was evident. Would highly recommend this beautiful drive to this Ranch and the 2-hour horseback riding experience. We were beginners and felt very comfortable.

A restful and fun escape for city slickers. The staff are all friendly and welcoming. Emily was excellent on the phone and in control of the office assuring a well run experience for all. The ranch is well maintained and well organized to feel like a working ranch without plunging the guest into a by sense work. Running horses at 5:30, a wonderful well stocked bar run by the very knowledgeable Brad. The kitchen and dining area was perfectly western themed and the menu had something for most dietary requirements. The morning chef, Amanda, was the most accommodating for my vegan requirements- really inventive. Gabe and Sam made our trail ride feel like more of adventure than a rookie ride. Beautiful wild flowers throughout the entire horseback ride. Max took two of us fly fishing and he made us feel as if we were old hands when in fact neither of us had skill. Ron and his wife (sorry can’t recall her manner) are on site Général management and really care about the guest experience. What wonderful place. Almost like a Disney cruise of Ranches. Can’t recommend enough.

I cannot say enough good things about our time at Turpin Meadow Ranch. The chalet was perfect for our needs (family of 5), the food was wonderful, but what sets this apart is the service. The staff really goes above and beyond to make sure each guest is cared for down to each detail. We had wonderful park tours with Joey and John- highly recommend both of them! They were also both great with our kids and went the extra mile to make sure there were engaging activities for all ages. Wranglers McKenna and Dani were also wonderful on our horseback trail ride- accommodating our youngest sons with extra care and attention since they barely met the age requirement for riding solo. We will absolutely be back!

This ranch has it all! The most amazing accommodations, amenities, and staff. The grounds and horses back riding is family friendly and versatile to ensure everyone has something to little extra special to enjoy. The location of this ranch is poised to take your breath away. The activities enrich quality time together and the trail rides make dreams come true!

Book it + book ahead! Our little family of three stayed here this summer on the back part of our trip and it was the best decision! We hope we are lucky enough to visit again someday + wish to in the winter! Tucked away, secluded + cozy. A sort of glamping feel on the ranch. Delicious food. Friendly, accommodating team. One of our favorite parts was our personal Yellowstone tour with John! He was so personable, we felt we had known him for years. The tour van is also the best stocked, accommodating ride we had the entire trip. They seriously have thought of everything you may need, especially with kids. Book the horseback riding if you can - you get to see parts of Wyoming you wouldn’t see otherwise. We also took the off road vehicles out for a spin + felt like we were alone on the ranch taking on our own adventure. Can’t say enough good things. We even lost our minds + fell in love with a Bernedoodle pup in downtown Jackson Hole + flew him back to Texas with us + named him Turpin!

I almost don't want to do this review because I want to be able to book Turpin Meadow the next time I am in Wyoming! If the word gets out about this place, I am sure there will be a waiting list to book! Turpin Meadow is the consummate ranch while remaining very peaceful and one with the land. It's a long but well marked road that ends at the ranch with spectacular views of the Tetons, horses, the Buffalo Fork river running through the property, an incredible but intimate lodge with a massive fireplace, outside porches, horse shoes, archery and a delicious restaurant, with lovely staff all around. They offer fly fishing which was terrific. We caught fish and waded in a river that has never been stocked and is full of cutthroat trout and mountain white fish. The horse riding was a beautiful scenic trek to views that would make you cry. We stayed in a chalet which had a large living room, an upstairs and downstairs bedroom, was very spacious and decorated to perfection. French press coffee and a fridge in the room made the mornings looking at the mountains and river very special! Make sure you go!

I would live here if I could. Extraordinary attention to detail to create the ultimate luxury "dude ranch". Everything is one step above and can tell its meticulously thought out.Staff was amazing and always went the extra step to ensure great service. (Granted this was the start of the season). We arrived late in the evening after the front office was closed, and one of the SERVERS showed us around, made sure we had what we needed, knew what to do, and where exactly our cabin was.I would recommend this place to anyone and everyone.

Very nice cabin and setting. The lodge is super cozy and I’m very glad we got the opportunity to stay here. The cabins have beautiful tile showers and the electric fireplace keeps the room feeling cozy and very comfortable. The meals are delicious and the staff doting. Five out of five for our group of seven!!!

What can I say about Turpin Meadow other than it's the greatest place on Earth. We were referred here by some friends who live in Jackson Hole. I will say my husband was a bit skeptical when I told him the 2 of us and our 2 children would be in a 1 bedroom 1 bathroom cabin with no cell service and no TV. However, I have to say this was hands down one of the best trips we have ever been on. We were greeted with friendly open arms at the front desk by Hillary and Josh, and checked in with no issues. We had lots of activities planned and didn't know what to expect when we got there. First the rooms are spacious and clean, and very cozy. One of the best things about TM was the food! Breakfast, lunch and dinner are knocked out of the park. Which is good b/c there aren't a whole lot of choices around. We were there for 4 nights, and never had the same meal, I was even disappointed we didn't get to try a few things on the menu b/c we weren't there long enough. I was also so happy to see the kids menu was extensive as well. There was plenty of variety for them to choose from also.We went horseback riding in the meadows and it was one of our most favorite things, we were sad we didn't get to go on another ride, but we just didn't have enough time for everythingThe fly fishing was by far one of our favorite activities. I was afraid 2 hours was going to be just enough or maybe too much to hold the kids attention, but Devin is just the MAN! He was so engaging and had the best way about him and with the kids. He was so much fun, and so knowledgeable and so excited to teach us! His passion was infectious. We were all held captive by his lesson and skills. We had so much fun practicing our cast on the lawn. Then we got to get in the river and put to the river what we learned. My daughter caught 2 fish and before we knew it the lesson was over. We didn't get enough of it, and again we were left wanting more!!We took a private tour to Yellowstone with our guides John and Joey. They were a BLAST! IT was like we were hanging out with our friends for the day. HOw they managed to keep the kids engaged from 7am-7:30pm I will never understand, but both my husband and I, and the kids had the best day ever! They knew all the great spots and went out of their way to make it memorable for us. I'm sure they go on several tours like this multiple times during the week, but for us they came with so much enthusiasm and excitement it was like the first time they had given the tour and were full of energy, and they sustained that all 12 hours of the day. Including on the drive home. Oh and the van we went in was so comfortable with lots of windows to see out of, and snacks and drinks, and the guys were so great knowing all the best and clean bathroom spots! These guys are pros pros, as my husband would say! This trip could not have been better for us. Everyone agreed it was the top 3 places we have ever been. I know it had so much to do with the staff. They just make you feel so welcome and at home. I also love how peaceful it is, and quiet, and SAFE! I felt like the kids could roam free outside and we didn't have a worry in the world. The staff made a bonfire for us one night for s'mores. The kids did archery almost every night. We even used the ZEN DEN for some yoga. The gym was like a true rough cross fit gym.My one and only thing I would suggest is come prepared with snacks. The kitchen is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, but not for in between snacking. If you have kids that get hungry every couple hours, plan ahead and stop at a store for a few goodies before you get there. They have a fridge in the room, so it's super easy to stock up a bit on snacks.OH and we loved that the bar was open all day! Great idea! It was amazing watching the horses run out to pasture every night. WE cannot stop talking about TM. It was an unforgettable trip, and we will be back, for a longer stay next time!

Absolutely had one of my best family vacations because of our stay at Turpin Meadow Ranch. You will not find a better staff anywhere! Everyone was so friendly, courteous, accommodating and professional. Even the GM (thanks Ron!) at no charge took his time to take us to a secluded section of river because he knew I was an avid fly fisherman. The property is breathtaking and if you enjoy the outdoors it has so many amazing options - riding, fishing, UTVs, hikes, close access to Teton/Yellowstone Parks, etc. We took three separate private family rides which were amazing - the horses are well taken care of and trained which allowed for my 8 year old to comfortably enjoy the 2 hour excursions (Wrangler Rachel was amazing!!!). As a fly fisherman I could not have been more pleased than to explore the beautiful stretch of the Buffalo Fork River right on property. This property is absolutely a luxury - rooms are very clean and comfortable. I cannot say enough about Turpin Meadow Ranch, the property and its staff. Fantastic place with extraordinary people and beauty!

I would give 4 stars if it weren't for the dogs next door. We just stayed for a night away up from Jackson. We cross country skied until sunset and it was lovely and quiet, we had the trails all to ourselves. Dinner was delicious, except the steak we ordered was too charred for our liking and we didn't taste any gorgonzola or spice, it just had a burnt flavor that overpowered it all. The mussels, brie & roast garlic plate, cheesecake and cocktails were all very good (4 stars for dinner). Service was great, patient and friendly from check in to check out (5 stars for service). The rooms are cozy, warm and nicely decorated. Our only major complaint was that our neighbors had multiple dogs that barked a lot, at night and especially early this morning starting at dawn, and when they went to breakfast and left the dogs behind, they barked for 2 hours straight since 7am. We feel like anyone with dogs need to be allocated with other people who also have dogs or in their own stand alone cabin. It disrupted our otherwise lovely stay, instead of having a relaxing morning, we gave up, packed up, grabbed breakfast, and drove home extremely tired. Shame, because we planned to ski some more after breakfast and checkout, but we were too tired.

Amazing hospitality. We cycled past the ranch just as a thunderstorm was rolling in, and Hillary and the rest of the staff welcomed us in to wait out the storm. Was lovely to relax in the lounge and get some tea. (Good selection of trail snacks and electrolytes in the small shop too!) the restaurant looked great, though we we’re there for lunchtime. When we got stuck in the mud trying to leave Tate let us use their power washer, and even gave us a ride back out to the highway so we could keep going. We can’t thank you all enough. To our fellow cyclists: stop in and give these folks your business, it’s a warm welcome!

I've lived in the area for a few years now and Turpin has always been one of my favorite spots to go. I love going for lunch to enjoy some time alone because the lodge and setting are so darn peaceful and the staff is always friendly, the food always delicious. Olivia is literally one of my favorite servers on the planet. We also love going here for dinner and date night: every meal my boyfriend and I have had has been great (except for the pad thai last season but it wasn't on the menu long); a friend and I went for a girl's night once and got Van's surf and turf and holy cow that was amazing. Brad and Hillary are also both absolutely delightful to interact with. Love you guys, and thank you for always being delicious and reliable!
