A must stop and get everything in the menu! I was in love with this place almost immediately. There is so much charm to the place it’s self but the service was wonderful. We sat outside because Cachito was with us but immediately they moved us inside since they saw Cachito and I shiver. We got a cute little booth. The best part was the breakfast! I am still dreaming of those hash browns. The bacon was crispy and the egg was perfectly scrambled. The hubby got a burrito with chili and it was delicious. it was my first time trying chili. Wishing we were close to come back often, but if we pass by again we will definitely stop. I left wanting to try their pies 🥧

I stopped in on my journey heading east to Rapid City and stopped at the Emporium for lunch. I chose the special, 3 ribs, a side and a soft drink for $15.00. I had the meal served hot and delicious within 5 minutes. The ribs were very meaty and tender with just the right amount of tangy BBQ sauce and the service was terrific. I definitely recommend it and will stop by again if ever in the area.

This restaurant was on Restaurant Impossible. The decor was professional and pleasing. I had the special which was Lasagna with a salad. The salad had dried fruit, feta, and tomatoes. It was good. My lunch came with green beans. Initially they didn't have flavor. I added salt and pepper and they were pretty good. The Lasagna was normal Lasagna. I liked it but I didn't love it. I would certainly eat it again I just wouldn't go out of my way for it. If you are driving Hwy 85 between Torrington WY and Cheyenne, stop in and give it a try. I will eat here again.

A little oasis in the middle of no where and almost feels like a step back in time.Waitress was very nice, good menu and cold beer. Good vibes too, feels like a welcoming place.Great if you are traveling east and an easy stop. Also love the old west decor inside as well.

We have stopped by here for the pastv4 yesrs going to Deadwood. This stop was different in a VERY GOOD WAY! We stopped in on our way to SD. We had apps and lunch FOOD WAS DELICIOUS. Katie was behind the bar and was quick serving drinks and getting our food orders (12 of us). We had the pleasure of meeting Dennis he was super friendly made sure everything was perfect. There were several other tables in there that seemed to be getting great service as well. We were so pleased with the service we stopped back by on our way back home where we were welcomed with open arms. Thank u for the great hospitality. We missed Carmen this year round.

I have driven by this place several times in my semi and I am usually under a time crunch and haven’t been able to stop. The wife and I had a couple of appointments in Cheyenne and on our way back home we decided to take Highway 85 specifically so we could stop and try this place out. The wife and I are avid fans of restaurant impossible and just happened to see that this place was on an episode so we wanted to try it out even more. The owner was outside when we were coming in and greeted us and then we sat down at a table And was promptly greeted by our waitress. She was super awesome and Johnnie on the spot with our drinks. Her recommendations and the food was amazing. As we were getting ready to leave, the owner happened to be walking through and he sent us for stopping in. We definitely will be back. For us it was an out of route 45 minute trip and I would do it 100 times more to go back.

The restaurant is clean.. nice bathrooms. Food is good.We also found a new place... "Grammy's"Which is a really fun little store behind the Emporium. Owners are friendly. Coffee and cookies (we were treated like long lost friends) reasonable prices. Just a great place.

Super hip stop whether you're a local or on your way to Mount Rushmore. We stopped here to use the restroom as it's one of the only ones available for miles (and miles and miles). It was dressed in someone of a shabby chic meets Americana decor. There's nice wood accents with corrogated metal and American flags throughout. The staff was incredibly friendly and there's plenty of seating.

I had the prime rib sandwich while the others had the BLT and burgers. I had the very last serving of the broccoli and cauliflower salad. All the food was terrific. They also had extra corn on the cob which the grandchildren devoured. The pies were some of the best I have eaten. The service was also exceptional. Our only disappointment was they were out of onion rings but the cheese curds were more than adequate. We will be back.Kid-friendliness: The grandchildren received especially considerate attention from the server.

Ate dinner here with a large group. The meal was fantastic! One of the best prime ribs I’ve ever had. Thick cut, cooked to perfection. Real horseradish, not that creamy wanna be stuff.Waitresses were amazing, attentive and friendly.Had a chance to visit with the owner to hear the crazy story as to how his dream became a reality. This place is a gem that will definitely get more of my money.

Stopped here on our way to Mount Rushmore, South Dakota —the most amazing people! They gave my son a map and told us where to stop on our road trip. Dessert was tasty!

A little hidden gem, it is. I've lived in the area for a long time and never bothered to stop and try it. Good thing we did. Prime rib was amazing and so the chicken fried steak was good but some pieces a bit grisly. Mashed potatoes are to die for. Beautiful restaurant and it was quiet so it was nice. Service was great, she was very attentive compared to most places. We will be back to try other menu options.

A cute little place on the highway. They serve American food. I read about this place in one of the blogs. They have a few vegetarian options on their menu. The waitress was very accommodating. She made a custom margarita for me. We also tried their pecan pie with ice cream and that was the best pecan pie I have every tired. must-go-to spot if you are in the area.

Still heading to Sturgis & needing a little sustenance. We stopped at this little joint one hour north of Cheyenne & had a patty melt but & I had the daily special pulled pork, coleslaw & dill pickle. The pulled pork was tender & moist no BBQ sauce needed & wet slaw. I tried The Fireman's patty melt & it was the first time I've had it. Surprisingly good! Something new to add to the list of foods. Friendly staff.

Must stop if you are passing through Hawk Springs. Had an amazing dinner last night. Pork shank osso bocu, smoked prime rib. Dennis and his staff are all amazing. Food is superb and unexpected in a small town.
