Great local skiing at a great price. Low traffic, easy/close parking, plenty of terrain for a beginner-learner, and for those experts there’s a couple runs that will keep you satisfied for the day. Do you get miles and miles of runs or pounding moguls and hundreds of people around you? Nope. And that’s what makes it great. Almost no wait lift lines, A couple mins on the lift, and plenty of space for you to ski down. Possible to get 6-8 runs an hour if you try hard. Great value. Oh and nice lodge, super convenient and well kept. Friendly staff!

Favorite place to ski in all of the Rockies. Leave the crowds in CO, and drive up to Snowy Range!! Excellent hometown feel and service. Great greens and blues! Lovely lodge that isn’t too big or overpriced. Won’t find this with your Epic Pass! This ski area is good for families, friends, newbies and the more advanced athlete as well. Ski and snowboard school is valuable and a great place to learn.

I had a great first time skiing experience here at the Snowy Range. My party took a group lesson, but there were 4 of us in the group and none of us ever skied before, so it seems the instructor might have been spread a little too thin. We will consider private lessons for next time. Also, the lunch options offered in the building were surprisingly enjoyable.

I’ve been snowboarding for a long time, mostly in Colorado. No joke, I had one of the best days. The staff was amazing . My fave part of the day was ski patrol, I’ve never had the pleasure of meeting a ski patrol person who was as fun, professional and spirited till today. Wish I could remember his name but I will drop some pics. Thank you again for BEST DAY EVER! My son and I def will never forget <3

I love this little ski area. A bit of traversing if you're a boarder, but doable. Fixed chairs are a bit fast and have experienced steep off loading ramps. Beginners practice practice practice! Staff is always so kind and friendly. Great time whenever we go.

Fun place to enjoy the snow. Patient instructors. Slops are steep and daunting. It should be expanded. Cabins nearby, Restaurant and hotel too. 30 mins from Laramie.

This ski area was beautiful. If your not there early you will have a decent walk from parking to the lodge, however they do have a small skier drop off zone.I unfortunately was injured getting off one of their lifts right out of the gate and ski patrol had to bring me down. They did an amazing job. They were careful, considerate, professional and handed me off to an on-site RN.I would highly recommend Snowy Range, a place to have fun and you'll feel protected and safe in their small town style ski resort. The drive was very easy compared to other resorts and even with blowing snow did not make the drive any worse.

Great place to take your family. Went on a weekday and easy to get tickets and not crowed. Perfect for little children to learn how to ski.

Great mountain that is reasonable priced. Super fun. This mountain is not for people looking for expert terrain. Runs are short, but a lot of fun. Lift lines are great during weekdays and maybe a 10 minute wait on weekend. Snow is fantastic and foid is reasonable priced as well. No traffic either.

Over all great day however the reason for the low rating was due to the very first person we made contact with in the morning at the ski lessons counter. She was very unfriendly. We signed 3 kids up for the 7 year old never ever 2 hour group lesson and we were told that they couldn't guarantee that they would be in the same class. Fine. However we dropped the kids off for the lesson and they only got to make 1 run down the magic carpet bunny hill and just sat in the snow for the remainder of the time. The instructors were super cool and friendly and apologized for how full the class was and that they weren't able to spend much time with the kids. Big waste of time and money for the lesson. I expressed concern back at the lesson counter and had the privilege to talk to the same unfriendly and unhelpful person to only find out that she was the director of the ski academy. The only thing she said was sorry we felt that way and asked if we would like to purchase a private lesson. The instructors told us there were 25 kids for the 2 of them. At $65 each kid thats $1425. Even if they paid the instructors $50 an hour they made over $1400 and the kids didn't get what we expected. When we picked the kids up they told us how bored they were and there butts we're all wet from sitting in the snow. Very disappointing experience

We love Snowy Range!! This is a fantastic place for kids and beginner skiers and snowboarders. We live in Fort Collins and love the drive. We’ve rarely been stuck in traffic and really haven’t run into much bad weather. The staff has been great each time we’ve gone, and helped us have a great experience. The food in the cafe is ok, but you can bring your own stuff too. Everything is right there, which is SO nice! Try and get there before 8:30am and you’ll get a great parking spot. There are multiple lifts and runs from a super easy green to blacks! The magic carpet for kids is great and ours have sometimes spent all day there learning. We highly recommend Snowy Range!

Love the place, my way of escaping to winter and snow fun, from day to day grind. Check out affordable ski lessons, season pass, and little cafe upstairs. Convenient parking, locker rooms, affordable rentals, great staff and 33 incredible runs for your enjoyment. Come early, parking gets full fast.

This is the best "retro ski experience" ever. Friendly, nice, laid-back vibe. Great snow this season, fun runs and excellent value. Just love this place. Awesome chicken wings too!

I had not skied and about 13 years and I decided to take the trek North into Wyoming and OMG I barely encountered any traffic which is nothing like trying to travel down i-70.Centennial is a cute little town but the skiing was top notch. I'm used to Midwest snow which is fake man-made snow over ice. And I never waited in a line, I never shared a chairlift with anybody. Everybody was very friendly I even helped a guy out that took a bad crash and helped ski patrol get to him within 10 minutes. I would definitely recommend this place because the all day pass is $50-60 compared to any front range ski area you'll be looking at at least double. There runs are very nice the longest one is just over a mile. The chairlifts are fast most of the time.

An awesome day of skiing. The resort is much smaller than what you can get on i-70 in Colorado but it's got so many other pros. The tickets are reasonable, about $65 for the day at the counter; the crowds are much smaller, and the best thing is that traffic is nothing!

Snowy Range was a blast! Great place to try skiing for the first time and get lessons. Very affordable for what you get. The road into the resort and parking lots are unpaved and snow-packed. My sedan got stuck several times trying to leave, but the shuttle driver got out and helped push us out! 6/5

I have a season pass. Very cool small mountain with great value, but……They really seem to struggle with grooming and terrain park maintenance. Multiple times they have the park closed as they work on it during the day with the groomer. Their lift attendants are some of the worst trained I have experienced at any resort. They do not consistently maintain safe, flat loading areas. I have seen a lot of people get bucked because there is no clear “load here” spot.

First of all, great ski establishment. This feels like the old school style of skiing it used to be before big resorts with insane prices. The trails are fast and short which makes it perfect to bring a family out with younger kids. The lift tickets, rentals, and even the dining options are very affordable but for the experienced skier seeking a real thrill, you might be a bit underwhelmed coming out here with the short runs and small mountain. You can ski just about every trail on the mountain from one side to the other in about a day's worth of time.I'll certainly be back.

Not crowded on week days at all and very reasonable lift tickets and ski rental fees. The slopes are not groomed so can be fair amount of powder and with the narrow runs it can be hard for beginners to make turns. Also as a senior first time visitor I was quite impressed with free lift ticket fee and reasonable ski rental but very upset when the highest charge for the entire day was $50 for losing a shoe locker key as it seemed high compared to rest of reasonable fees and left a bad taste in my mouth.

Cheap weekday passes, never crowded, nice facilities, easy to access from NorCo and surrounding area. Vertical is nothing to sneeze at, but generally good snow on east slope in morning and north slope in afternoon. Good place to bring beginner/intermediate skiers who aren’t quite acclimated to the long and steep runs at big Colorado resorts. For $50 a day, this is the best skiing deal you will find in the region.

A great resort for young kids and families. Snowy range is a great place to teach your kids to ride. The cafeteria can't always keep up with demand on busy days so you may have to wait if your kids have their heart set on pizza or something. It can get super windy being in Wyoming so neck wraps or face masks are good to have on hand. No traffic when compared to other ski areas.Advanced skiers and riders may get bored if you are expecting a huge mountain. But if you want to cruise and have an easy day it's a great place to be.

Snowy Range is always a good time! It’s been several years since I’ve here! They’ve changed a few things but all good changes! We came down as a group this year and the prices CANNOT be beat. We did rented our gear and got ski lift tickets for two days and it was like $150 a person. There are a TON of portions near by for lodging. It’s just a fun and inexpensive place to go, great place for beginners as well!

It’s cheap fort lift tickets, not crowded, close to home, and perfect for letting the kids learn. My first time snowboarding out of Colorado. I was impressed. My kids were able to get a ton of runs in due to the short lines, and low crowds. We will be coming back annually now.

Had family in town for the weekend and wanted to go skiing. The price was great, and even though it was early in the season, the slopes were well managed. Everyone we spoke with on the slopes bragged about Snowy Range as the best value in the area.

This is my favorite ski resort of all time and my family had been going here since the 60s. My only complaint is the Colorado folks who escape Colorado to avoid the high prices and rude people only to complain about this range and aren't as nice as all the local people. (Maybe I should actually rate this place lower so the Coloradans stay away, but it wouldn't be fair to this amazing range and the awesome people who work here.) Can't wait to go back again.

This is such a great, local resort. Its smaller than what I'm used to skiing in northern California, but it's enough for any type of skier or snowboarder. There are lessons for all ages, lots of trees to go through and 2 nice parking lots. Tickets are really reasonable, and the staff are great. It's only 45 minutes from Laramie, and even on Sundays, the resort never feels too crowded. I cant comment on the food or drinks as I've never purchased anything. I pack a lunch and bring water.
