A nice place to get a weekend away from the kids. People were incredibly friendly and helpful. The only minor issue I have is that the prime rib was poorly cooked and for the price I expected better. Didn't taste like it was seasoned before cooking and didn't have that seared look on top, looked brownish grey. All other food and sides there were fantastic and my wife's sirloin was cooked to perfection. Would definitely go here again though as everything else was great.

The rooms are clean. The resort seems to be nice. We didn't eat at the restaurant. Just spent the night here.They have an outrageous fee for a dog of $50. It's half of what the hotel cost for a family for one night. It's outrageous.The breakfast is pathetic at the best as you see from the pictures. Property is clean.They could use a a little salt to get rid of this ice or do a little plowing or something. It's very slippery.The breakfast is bagels Frozen butter. Cream cheese. Cereal, yogurt. Some instant orange juice. Coffee was out by 9: 30. Instant oatmeal. Breakfast is horrible.I don't know if I would come back here again.Nearby activities: Rafting

Great cabin, great view of the river. But be aware you can not reach the river from there.Nice places to sit outside. The restaurant has really good food and drinks. They really know how to do a hamburger right. The drinks were so good that even though we are not really much for drinking we decided to take advantage of being able to walk to our cabin. It was wonderful to sit on the bench by the riverbank.It was a great place to stay.

This is such a cute little resort! My room had the best view! The room was nice and big and had a great shower. Staff is friendly and super helpful. The restaurant is great and has all sorts of wild game dishes. Breakfast is coffee, cereal, bagels and cream cheese, and packaged hard boiled eggs. The area around the resort is absolutely gorgeous. Beautiful river and mountain views. I would stay here again.

The perfect resort for a relaxing evening after enjoying time in Yellowstone, Grand Teton, or Jackson. Located next to the beautiful Snake River with peaceful morning sunrises. The staff is friendly! The beds are comfortable! The restaurant will not disappoint! Everyone in our group of six enjoyed their meal! Linen tablecloths and napkins, and a spacious dining room. A reasonable price for a great stay! I'm a repeat customer.Food & drinks: Excellent!!!

My family stayed here for three nights this past week. We had a small dog with us and the staff was great after she got sick on the bed comforter. The staff was super nice, the room was perfectly sized for 4 adults. We ate at the restaurant twice during our stay and the food was great. The restaurant was even able to Accommodate my Celiac (gluten free) needs. Next time we are in the area we will stay again!Nearby activities: Yellowstone and the Grand Tetons are under 100 miles away.Food & drinks: The food was great and can be Celiac save (gluten free).Noteworthy details: Great views of the Snake River and pet friendly.

Booked here for our trip to Grand Teton NP...didn't want to pay Jackson prices. It is a little drive to the NP...but a beautiful drive! The room was clean and comfortable. The restaurant had the best steaks we've ever eaten! They were very accommodating. We had a death in the family while we were there. They refunded the last 2 nights since we had to leave early...which was extremely generous of them. Would definitely recommend!

This was far from a resort. The floors were so dirty had to lay towels down. The staff everyone in the front office was short and rude making excuses why it was the way it was. The ice machine was down, cheapest of products used in the room. Drapes off a bit at top, but worst part was they charge resort prices for nothing better than the local hotel my recommendation is to keep shopping. Charge 50 dollars for the pet when I should be charging them 50 for grooming of pet from being in such a dirty environment. Won't be back and definately Won't recommend.

Rooms are average. Property and location is great, nice view of the river. Rooms are overpriced though. Beware of their 48 hour cancelation policy. I booked 4 rooms, one guy's flight was canceled and they charged us for the room, even though we used the other 3 Rooms. I will never stay here again. Breakfast was bagels, cereal, yogurt and packaged hard boiled eggs.

What a fantastic stay!! We came here for our anniversary trip to see the Grand Teton and Yellowstone. The staff is AMAZING! I think her name is Lisa, so welcoming, friendly and accommodating.The breakfast had everything we needed and nice touches to the bagels like seasoning and chives.All in all we would definitely recommend this place to anyone. 5 stars for sure! Joe & Bianca, BostonRooms: Teh before we're sooo comfy, plenty of sheets and pillows. The bathroom was immaculate and the whole room so clean.

Nice place on the river. The only drawback is that the bathroom is tiny. The door barely clears the toliet when you open it, and if you are more than 5' 5", then the shower will be hard to get under.It was nice a place, the balcony was nice to sit out on in the evening.I would stay here again!!! Next time I would like to try the restaurant.

This place was suggested to us so we gave it a try. My dinner was really good. My husband received burnt lasagna. After complaining to the manager, he finally received a dinner that was not burnt. Of course I was f done eating by the time he was able to start eating. We appreciate that the manager brought him out a fresh dinner but it would have been nice had he told us as we waited 20 minutes not knowing.

Room was clean and mostly comfortable. I have a hard time understanding why rooms would be renovated and leave a baby toilet in the bathroom. The old toilets are way too small for full size people. The breakfast was very skimpy, bagel, cereal, milk and packaged hard boiled eggs. The staff was friendly and the price was right. I was there at off season and I think if I had to pay more, I would consider it over priced.

The hotel itself is good. The lounge is alright. The service in the restaurant is the worst I've ever experienced. I stood at the host station for a decent amount of time. Made eye contact with the server half a dozen times. No gesture no words. I eventually walked around to the lounge where I can at least get service. I'm not difficult to please and rarely leave negative reviews.

We had a delightful overnight stay. Our room was comfortable, bright, cheerful, well appointed and clean. Our reception and check-in were cordial and efficient. We were able to park reasonably close to our room, a feature appreciated by this senior citizen who uses a walker.The restaurant was within easy walking distance. We had a delicious dinner. My filet was tender, cooked to perfection and topped with a demi-glace sauce to die for. We split the mashed potato w/ butter, sour cream, chives and bacon. Our waiter was knowledgeable and accommodating.The only disappointment was the breakfast which was adequate, but limited to dry cereal and bagels.There were other nice touches such as free postcards, an exercise room, swimming pool, meticulously kept grounds and scenic surroundings. The price is quite reasonable given those prevailing in the Jackson-Teton-Yellowstone area.

I can see that the staff take care to keep the facilities clean. You can see staff sweeping and cleaning the grounds. The benches and swings near the river were a nice touch. It was quiet and relaxing. The pool area was nice but the bubbles are broken in the hottub.Minor complaints. We were on the 2nd floor and there are no elevators. Our room was a great size, showered head is low if you are tall. The king size bed we had was terrible but the pillows were nice and linens clean. the ac was a bit fickle and noisy but I was glad to have it. The balcony overlooks the river in our room and it was nice to have an ice machine on both floors.Breakfast is skimpy and less than I'm used to and there are few options if you are diabetic, but all the normal continental breakfast options were available.

Dirty pool. Rooms need to be refurbished. Breakfast may meet your needs. They advertise view of the Teton Mountains and creek...looked for them all during our stay.With upgrades this location could be a lot more than what it is now.

I’d love to give this place 5 starts but I didn’t get to stay here. I did not have a reservation. While reserving the room with the front desk I was told with tax the room would be one price. I kid you not while trying to get a room with the employee in front of me she kept hiking up the price while smacking her gum and acting like she was in legally blonde. I was staying in Alpine since is was supposed to be cheaper then staying in Jackson. Nope not at this place. I know when others read this they may think I’m crazy or did not understand. I would think the same. I’ve never had a hotel price just keep going up.

My stay in here is great. They provided free breakfast, and room is very clean and warm without turning on heating. The room has two washbowl, one in bathroom and one in the outside bathroom. The price is reasonable, and good wifi. I was very satisfied with this stay because I am very unhappy with stay in Colter Bay Resort inside Grand Teton National Park.
