Food/Taste/Flavor: 4/5 - Pork chop with sweet potato fries was okay. A bit disappointed that it was pork loin since it was pretty chewy and the fries weren't seasonedPatty melt with potato salad was surprisingly good but could get a bit queasy if you don't eat the pickles with it. Great place for the area! We had dogs so we stayed outside in the patio.. it could use a little more TLC and the patio would be stellar.. the food was decent considering most of it was probably frozen but they have a vast menu! Super friendly staff (to people and pups) and you can tell they hustle! I definitely recommend the place if you’re on Alcova lake :)

Places like this are one of the best parts of traveling. I always stop at the little places and almost always impressed. No exceptions here! Great simple food, cheap, friendly staff. Perfect for a break from the road.

Solid simple drinks and beer and good bar food. Burgers and sandwiches, don't look for salads. Great battered veggies, especially mushrooms and onion rings. Service varies a bit, but usually friendly and competent.Vegetarian options: Ha ha. Fried veggies. . .Dietary restrictions: Um, not so much.Kid-friendliness: Mainly a bar, so pretty much adults. There is an outside patio, though, for when the weather is good.

Great burgers, beer battered fries, and a fun place to hang out after a day on the lake. The largest fried mushrooms you've ever seen and the rocky mountain oysters are always good here. Keep your ears open and you have a good chance to hear where the fish are biting. Many of the local fly fishing guides frequent this place at the end of the day.

Had everything we needed and accommodated us with what they didn't offer. They were very friendly and made us feel right at home. I wouldn't go anywhere else as long as they as open. This place is classic! Don't judge a book by its cover, the food is great and staff is really friendly. An awesome little dive bar scene with a ton of history. Perfect for a few cold beers with the boys after a day of slaying huge fish.

Nice little place near the river, right off the freeway. Despite COVID19 guidelines, they were accommodating for my takeout order. Dunno what it is about small diners, but these were some of the best sweet potato fries I've ever had.

This is one of those placed that doesn't pretend to be something it isn't. That is what makes the Sunset the best! It is a simple hole-in-the-wall bar that has great burgers and character. It's where the fisherman go to tell stories over a cold beer and a double cheese burger.

If I could give this place more than 5 stars I would! This place just felt like home when I was there. The quaint atmosphere and friendly locals and many inspirational quotes on dollar bills make it stand out! Don’t forget to try their special recipe hand breaded mushrooms also!

We come by here a lot and finally decided to stop. Now we are kicking ourselves for not stopping every time! The steak was perfect. The staff was incredible. The bar itself is perfectly weathered and cozy. It is everything I love about local spots. Thank you!

As American as you can get. Came out to visit my lifelong buddy Tom from Loveland, CO. We grew up together in Philadelphia. I rolled the dice and put a buck on the wall above the clock at the bar. EAST FALLS 29!! Great place, nice people.

This is a local place that has a fun atmosphere and good food at a good price. They had a wide range of choices and was fast and professional. I would recommend going with your family. We will be back.

This is a good motel for anglers and hunters. You get what you pay for and that's the bottom line. Sportsmen appreciate things such as a clean room, hot water, reliable heater, and basic satellite TV. If you're looking for more than that, you probably shouldn't stay there. I've stayed many times when it's too cold to camp and have been satisfied that what I received was worth the money I spent. I say the same about the restaurant as well. It's not for everybody, but then again you couldn't pay me enough to stay at a Ritz Carlton on a fishing trip.

Poor service. The day we went was late afternoon on a weekday. One person working. He was bartender and cook. Had to ask for refills and napkins as the burgers we order were messy. There was only 2 other people in the whole place! The food wasn't bad, typical bar food.
