We got our Dog there and went back for a cat a few years later. They are a bit short staffed so be patient when trying to contact them. But finding a new potential family member is well worth the wait.

Really impressed by the person who greeted and escorted our group by the future owners of people. They hosted a birthday of someone that acclaimed it was "best birthday ever"Future owners of people were well cared for. There is an impressive trail through the woods for future owners to walk their people. Every dog had a card saying their approximate age, along with food information for staff. All kennels were clean. They had ample access to runs.Great place.

We're about to adopt our second dog from here. They have good facilities and a caring staff. A No-Kill facility. Some nice trails behind here are good to go on a walk to see if you can get along with a new fur-baby ( as well as indoor facilities).

They have wonderful fund raisers. I have attended their plant sale twice and their meal/auction. Both were planned well and reasonably priced. Friendly helpful volunteers.

Filled out online application and was called the next day to schedule a meet and greet. Took vacation and drove an hour+ to meet the dogs. Upon our arrival, we were informed they have a policy they don't consider families with unaltered pets, which was fully disclosed in our application that we had one. This would have been nice to know ahead of time! Would have saved vacation time and over two hours driving.
