I took this picture to ACE Hardware in Webster to get a new rubber Hoodibob to replace the cracked one under the white thingamajig that was causing a gas leak on my lawnmower.The handsome young feller working at the service shop worked patiently with me for 20 min or so trying to cross reference part numbers for the Hoodibob and explaining why I probably didn’t need a new spark plug or air filter even though I already sold myself on them (because hell if I’m making the drive of shame back to the store later if it’s not the Hoodibob that’s the issue). He even told me how the leak happened and how to prevent it next winter.Anyway, what I’m trying to say is Benson ACE Hardware is awesome and so is that fella! For the cost of $12 my issue was fixed (well, at least THAT issue 🤪) and I was able to mow my grass.So that’s the story of how I know where I’m buying my next lawnmower from. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Busy Saturday afternoon at the paint counter. Gotta hand it to the gentleman handling the 6 customers in line with a smile.He told me where to look and I found all I needed.Really helpful (and funny as hell) staff and prices were reasonable. They have popcorn 🍿 too!Seasonal large motorized items were out front on display for sale (lawnmower, tiller, brush clearer, snow blower,etc)Noted: most items I needed were within steps of the cash register and front door, and my pickup truck was parked directly out front (on a diagonal slant). EZ in and out in a pleasant small town.A great little hardware store!

Great people and selection. Had to get something fast, they asked me if I needed help and then I found what I wanted. It was nice to also see the store before I was asked. Some Ace Hardware stores have too much clutter, this store is organized and clean.

Awesome selection, very nostalgic atmosphere. A little pricey on some things, reasonable on others, but overall a great small town hardware store with plenty of variety and worth visiting. Just remember it may be pricey but it's a mom and pop shop in downtown Webster and worth our support!

They are always helpful and know their way around the store. I love walking the aisles to see what can be found. The store hasn't changed since I was a kid. The only issue is sometimes it can be hard to tell the difference between a customer and an employee.

Benson Ace Hardware is a small town store that has great service... they offer a rental shop, along with a repair shop... the store it's self is packed with items that a person may need.

I've been going there for close to 40 years, first as a child when my grandparents needed something for the house. They are one of my first stops if I need help with a project. There's always someone available to answer questions and help you find what you need.

Really friendly staff, I like the great selection of small fasteners in the back of the store on the right side. Nice to buy just what I need and support local business.When you get something from the rental store be sure to ask for a full tank of fuel. Had a really bad experience due to receiving tank with nearly no fuel. I should have insisted on a full tank. My error.

I would much rather deal with a local Business who has a stake in the area ,then drive a hour + to a "big box retailer". I will continue to purchase my power equipment from these good folks. They will take care of you!

Be cautious when renting equipment from Ace on Webster. We rented for 24 hours on a Saturday at 2pm, returned it Sunday by 2pm. Which is what the rental guy said to do, they closed at 1pm. We missed work cause now it was Monday and we where there at 8am to return and they charged us another day. We left messages Sunday to prove we had it back within our 24hour period. This was 2nd time we rented heavy equipment and it will be our last time. I will not recommend this business to my friends or family.

I've been shopping here for a year now. They have pretty much everything I've looked for. They are well staffed and ask you if you need help to find something which I often do. Very friendly.

They've got the right stuff for having cabins, septic, fireplace, and old plumbing! Has everything a regular city Ace has and much more. Service usually before you ask! It's priced for the area. They're not hiking the prices and they aren't Walmart.
