Fantastic food, clean diner, great and fast service. I had cheese curds and a breaded BBQ chicken sandwich on a toasted bun. I could tell that the meat was freshly breaded as advertised. The curds were delicious, and even the dipping ranch was delightful, properly tangy with bits of fresh cilantro mixed in. The view of the road into Wausaukee felt romantic. Reasonable prices. What a gem!

Very cozy, great breakfast and coffee. I love how the theme reflects the local schools colors and has photos from the school honoring their cheerleading and sports teams throughout the years.The price of the food is very inexpensive but tastes like it would cost more and the portions are large.Can't wait to try lunch and dinner next time 👍🏻

My family visited Pembine for the first time while on a trip for my husband's birthday and came across Rangers. We stopped in for a quick dinner. It wasn't busy when we arrived but we were eager to try a new spot. The waitress wasn't very friendly but we figured she had a long day. It took a bit for our food to arrive, but that was okay. We began to feel out of place when a customer made a loud comment, followed by an exaggerated sigh that we had two children with us. Our young kids were behaving...one was playing quietly with a toy and the other was playing iSpy with her dad. We ended up asking for to go containers. Plasticware we asked for was never put in the bag so we ended up not being able to eat much of what we ordered as it was messy. Overall, things were alright but wish our experience could have been better, especially on my husband birthday.

Cute little spot we stopped at for lunch yesterday. Food was absolutely delicious! I got the bacon cheeseburger and we split the deep fried pickle spears. I love that the bacon was crispy and the burger tasted like my favorite place back home that closed up awhile ago. We were the only customers and it was actually really nice. The two people working were really nice as well! We will definitely be back!

Stopped by for Friday fish fry! Delicious lake perch, creamy coleslaw, tremendous baked beans and a heaping pile of fries!My Niece had the beef and gravy with mashed potatoes, both were delicious!Excellent services, reasonable prices and a friendly staff.

We were about to go to McDonald's but we drove by and seen Ranger Family Restaurant was open so we figured we would try it for dinner. It's a lot closer and a lot cheaper then fast food. We have been there once for lunch before and it was delicious. This time we got a bacon cheeseburger with fries and a grilled cheese on the side. Everything was so fresh and nice and hot, and you could tell it was all homemade and nothing was frozen. It was the best grilled cheese I've ever had if I'm being honest. It was crispy and had the perfect amount of cheese melted to perfection. The bacon was nice, crispy, and delicious. The staff was very friendly and checked on us to see if we needed anything. Awesome place, will definitely be back.

This is a great stopping place to eat if you're driving along 141. We always stop on our way up to the UP, and I usually get breakfast. The food is delicious, the people are friendly, and the atmosphere is very homely. Today I tried the nacho grande for their Thursday Mexican menu and the chips were so light and flaky, they taste homemade and definitely are the star of the dish

Even though we came 15 minutes till close, we were seated happily and the waitress was very sweet and patient with us. Food was good too!Dietary restrictions: Was able to get a grilled chicken salad for my keto diet.

Nice little diner. The interior was a bit dated but the staff was friendly and our food was piping hot and taste good. My wife, son and I had the Ranger Burger and my daughter had a mushroom Swiss burger. It was a great way to end the day after hiking the waterfalls.

We stopped for breakfast and our waitress was outstanding. She was by herself and the restaurant was crowded. She kept smiling the whole time she took care of the hungry crowd. Oh yeah, the food was excellent.

Great service, usually quite prompt and short wait time for food. They should check their chicken tho before serving it. One time my child ordered their chicken strips and they were all raw in the middle , really turned off his appetite 😬

Very good food at good prices. Good service. The onion rings were excellent and tasted homemade. But I think the cheese curds were a pre made product they just deep fried, not nearly as good. But overall very good food.

Usually we enjoy going to Ranger Family restaurant but, honestly the service has become horrible and we were all very frustrated about it. We ordered Mac & cheese for my granddaughter right when the server Finally got there because our granddaughter was so hungry and crabby. We ordered all of the other food after we got drinks that also took forever. Mac and cheese came out after all of our drinks and our meals. Btw. It was Kraft Mac & Cheese that was microwaved so, they just plain forgot. Very disappointed in the service but the food was still really good.

very cool small town joint if you want to sit and enjoy a meal and appreciate a place very tuned into its local HS sports. Not for anyone who needs to eat and get going right away. The Friday fish is excellent, and service is friendly.

If I could give a lower rating I would. Food is mediocre at best. Omelets are usually so watery that the cold toast gets soggy. The cooks yell at waitresses alot! The owners treat most of the staff horribly! Cooks wear sleeveless shirts in summer which is nasty and unsanitary and that includes the owner! You can hearing swearing coming from the kitchen all the time! Talk about unprofessional! If you think of stopping please dont!

Stopped there after driving from Wisconsin to see the leaves change. The service was good, our food came out promptly. The bathrooms were clean. Very good atmosphere. I will come back again
