Wonderful care was taken for my 11 year old great pyranees mix, who has never been to a groomer in the 4 years I've been his dad. Don't want to traumatize the poor guy, so we only did what he could tolerate. He didn't like the blow dryer, but he let them clip his nails. He came home happy, smelling great with his hair so soft!

I am perhaps out of touch with the normalization here, I just moved to Wausau on the 1st of this month. I finally got a day off from work and wanted to get my dog in for a grooming appointment. I had been to Petco before with absolutely no issue. However, after today I will never be back. Upon showing up for my grooming appointment you guys lost my dog‘s rabies certificate. Which was fine I had a back up. The point that concerns me, is the fact that there was an out of control dog in the waiting room. This dog was clearly aggressive and completely untrained and ill mannered. I tried to reason with the staff saying I’m not OK with my dog being around other animals that are so out of control. For people who work with animals professionally I didn’t understand why they would allow this dog in the facility to begin with. If this is your normal policy I completely get it and the fault lies all with me. However, when dogs are untrained and clearly aggressive it’s an owner problem and the staff should conduct themselves appropriately. I’d rather spend my money at an institution that shares my values.

Extremely pleased with the groomers in Wausau, Wi. Very friendly and wonderful toward my dog. She worked quickly and very efficiently. I have told many people about my experience and they are going to go there also. It was a great experience for me and my dog as we have never done this before and I we will absolutely continue doing this. My dog is a bull terrier so its easy to wind them up!! But he loved all the attention! So hurrah for our first time experience.

The gal did a good job. She said Evie was restless. I think she was scared. She hasn't had separation much since I got her. She's a rescue dog. Would love to keep same groomer as I think Evie needs security and to feel safe. The groomer seems to care.

We've taken our 3 Bostons to the Rib Mountain Petco for years and the staff is always very friendly and willing to clip and buff our babies nails at moment's notice. They're very good to our fur children.

I have a very fearful and squirmy dog. I tried multiple times to cut her nails myself, but just couldn't do it without risking hurting her. The staff at Petco did a phenomenal job and even cleaned up the mess when she pooped on the table.

Pleasant employees and our pet is comfortable there. I do need to say the floor when you first enter is dirty and could use a good cleaning I don't like seeing that or having our pet sit on it.
