Was about to book our annual vacation here but I'm going to skip it after these reviews and our own unpleasant experiences with the new ownership. We come every summer with our kids. But 2 years ago many unpleasant changes occurred due to the new management ruining a once fun place. They were so nasty in the office I couldn't believe it! We always do bear visits for our kids, they look forward to that the most. In prior years you just go to the office, sign up by a certain time, pay extra and yogi would come to your site with cookies and milk. It was the best! They got rid of that, now it has to be booked 24 hours in advance and no more cookies and milk. We have always done this the last day of our trip..went to the office that morning only to be told the new policy. I asked for them to show me where that was listed on the website or anywhere, they could not. And even though I was there first thing in the morning they absolutely would not let me book a bear visit because "24 hours" we had to pay for another night just to make it happen. There were multiple other things that had went away due to new management. The office staff was so rude last summer I was like let me just go to a different jellystone. We went to the dells jellystone and it was great! This year, was wanting to get back to our regular vacation spot but not only do I see how awfully downhill this place has gone due to this new management, even if I wanted to I couldn't go. They got rid of all the PM cabins? The one a regular family could afford? I see on the map, there are about 5 pm cabins they kept. but it's not listed on the ways to stay page and no matter the date I put in they don't come up. I've called for weeks and weeks on end to figure our if they have any or if they are now just for staff, no matter how many daily calls and messages I leave, no answer, no return call. Due to medical reasons of someone in our family, we have to have a cabin with a restroom. But nope, they've priced us out. Guess only upper middle class deserves cabins. Because pm cabins I paid anywhere from 121-178 a night for. I checked my old reservations. These new cabins are at min 230 a night, just can't swing that. It's devastating to us the old owners are gone. They new what they were doing and ran a great spot. We won't be back. We will just vacation in the dells again this year. We will stay a week at a resort than a weekend at the jellystone in the dells like we did last year. Truly disappointing. I was considering trying to find a way to make it work w the expensive cabins but after the reviews, no way. I'm not coming to pay a bunch of extra fees and have half of everything closed due to staffing. No way. You guys don't value customers, that's obvious.

We stayed in a camping cabin(cc) recently and it was amazing. We had my little sisters birthday party here. It has a queen bed and 2 sets of bunk beds a little ways back which was just enough privacy for the 3 nine year old girls I brought. It had ac which was awesome on the hottest days of summer! It does not have a bathroom but there are tons of bathrooms ( bath houses) around! We were right next door. All of the lifeguards, housekeepers and restaurant staff members we spoke with were great! I definitely recommend this! The cabin was adorable. So much to do! Swimming, activities and more! So awesome!

Family stayed here for the first time this past summer. Overall we had a very enjoyable time.We may have gotten lucky as the cabin we stayed in was new. They hasn't finished putting skirting on the bottom nor was the deck complete. The new part was nice as it was nice and clean, however there were zero fixtures in the unit (no towel holders, no toilet paper holder). It was very challenging to find places to hang towels to dry since there was almost no counter in the bathroom either. But we were in a pretty private area which I really liked. But again, I think we were lucky here as a lot of the other cabins do look older from the outside and are quite close to each other. They do have a lot to do and offer a lot of activities. All my kids had a lot of fun. The pool could use a little updating as well as the mini golf course though. The onsite concession stand wasn't very good. Not only did the staff not seem to know much nor care, but the quality was pretty bad. Surprisingly prices there weren't bad but I would still drive the short distance down to Tomah and find a restaurant there. The biggest complaint was staff and their lack of knowledge. We wanted to rent a golf cart but I couldn't find one person there who knew a thing about what to do. So that was some money Jellystone failed to get from me just because staff didn't know.Overall really enjoyed the trip. We may return to this location or we may look at other nearby ones too.

When our children were young, this was our yearly vacation site for four families! The Yogi experience was super and many memories were made. This year, three families came with adult kids and now grandchildren to rekindle the fun we once had. The water parks, slides and jump bubble were great….however the true Yogi experience was missing. No movies were shown during our stay, so disappointed in that and no reasons were given. Hayride was cancelled due to weather and it never rained, no attempt to reschedule! No train rides one day due to no driver!! Our cabin was not clean, and the kitchen was not fully stocked my any means. For the amount of money we paid, we were expecting more. Please note we realize that all businesses are short handed right now, but then you need to make some of these amenities are offered at least every other day so guests are aware!!!

We stayed in the brand new Sierra Cabin. The bed was comfortable and the inside was a good size although we spent little time inside. The property is big and has lots of entertainment for the family (water park, swimming ponds, mini golf, games, tractor hay rides, jumping pillow). Our 6 year old had an amazing time. The water park was busy but we never had to wait for anything. The cabin areas have minimal yard space, are on a hill a bit so you can have a campfire but may not be able to play a lot of yard games right there. Overall we had a great experience and the staff was super friendly!

So this place is huge, I mean big and busy! Bigger than Warrens LOL. It is a golf cart capital! never did I ever see so many golf carts running around in one place. Reminds me of a mega resorts. We stayed mid week just couple of minutes walk from everything, it was very busy in the water park area, but our area sites had plenty of open space. By Friday noon the world has changed, the weekend worriers arrived, we felt like sardines in the can, did not enjoy that at all. Keep in mind that some camp areas will have side to side and back of you sites so it ends up like a big family thing, music is included, no thanks. By Saturday AM the water park was extremely busy, like shoulder to shoulder busy, we were glad not to spend a weekend there. We took our kids there just for the water park part, not sure if they would want to go back even mid week. Its a great place for those who enjoy crowds or those who don't care. Anything to do with making money they are expending, did I say Mega Resort? Perhaps they should focus on fixing the showers, broken/cracked concrete in the pool, and bunch of other items I noticed, our fire pit was full of garbage when we arrived. Very small chance we would return, the focus here is to pack them in like sardines and make money, you can feel the corporate hands working all over the place. I think we prefer smaller campgrounds, much less commercial and more charm, more personable and maybe 1 pool.

Updated to add, the showers were ice cold so be prepared. Those we talked to all said they had cold showers as well. Been coming for the past 7 years. Last year and this year have been a disappointment. The boy who helped with the golf cart was having his own personal conversation while helping me as well. Couldn’t focus on helping me. Website says they provide pillows and sheets. I even called to double check. We had absolutely no pillows or blankets. When I went to get some the lady then argued with me about how they didn’t provide them the previous years. Not to mention everything is supposed to be included but yet you are still having to pay for the activities here. Last year we couldn’t even get in our cabin until almost 8pm. Such a shame!!!

My family has been coming for 28 years and it used to be the highlight of the summer. Unfortunately it has changed dramatically. From a fun camping location, it has morphed into this giant money pit. The price for everything is outrageous especially considering how run down things were and honestly, serious safety concerns. The water park:- the Lifeguard sitting on railing by water slide which posed a huge safety risk and set a horrible example for the kids using the park.- kids were mostly unsupervised by parents and running around despite posted rules about not running. My small daughter got bowled over and not a single lifeguard said anything about no running to anyone.- one water feature was so nasty. It was by the splash pad and had cranks (one was broken and the hose wouldn't stay attached) that pumped water from a reservoir up where it would pour onto the heads of those you were playing with. The reservoir was so nasty. It looked like it had never been cleaned before.- very few tubes for the lazy River and many were under inflated or deflating.- the umbrellas at the splash pad were busted and useless.- broken railing on the wooden structure of the splash pad- the surface at the splash pad was so abrasive that kids were cutting their feet constantly. My children both ended up with scrapes on toes and feet. And I cut my my foot on the surface.-picnic basket that dumps water at the splash pad was so nasty looking. It looked moldy.Beach:- there was a swing-set in the pond and it had one swing and that was broken.Pool area:- concrete around the pool area was so uneven and a major tripping hazard- pools were so run down- no lifeguards at the pool and children completely unsupervised, so huge safety concern- the pool gates were constantly left open which is a HUGE concern. I was constantly closing the gate and the latch was failing and needs to be fixed (why not make the gate swing closed). When a kid drowns because they get into the pool area when the gate should have been closed, who is at fault?Golf carts:- $75 for 3 PM until 11 AM.- huge shortage- was told I could get a cart, but would have to return it at 11 AM and then come wait in line again at 3 PM that day.- our golf cart was ripped up, wouldn't stay charged for long and would barely make it up a hill.Other:- green Water slide has unsafe edge toward the bottom that sends kids flying forward. I watch many kids catch the edge and almost face plant on the slide.- kids throwing objects down the green slide or intentionally losing their pad with no consequence- one activity was a Bubble foam machine. They did it in a tiny space by the beach where kids were in the middle of a patch of plants with burns. My daughter ended up with burs in her feet as did many of the other children partaking in the activity. Kids ended up wanted to leave because it wasn't fun for them.- Broken toilets by the pool area. Won't flush- this is one of the worst. I had to rinse my daughter off after being at the pool and I took her into the bath house. There is no way to adjust the temperature. When I initially pushed the button to engage the water, the temp was fine. But as I was rinsing my daughter, she started screaming. The water coming out was scalding hot and horribly dangerous. From my understanding, what was a wonderful family location that we loved visiting, is now just a huge corporate money pit.

It was ok. I think it depends on your idea of a good time. If you like lots of people, a party like atmosphere, action, biking, riding on golf carts and lots of neighbors I think you would like it. If you prefer space, privacy, or calm, it is not going to be ideal. Even if we enjoyed crowds, it just felt jam packed and sites and cabins crammed together. There were also a couple of maintenance issues that needed to be addressed. The employees I encountered were friendly.

We had a wonderful time at Jellystone this year. This was our fifth year and this was far better than the previous two years. Everything was fully staffed with friendly employees. The new additions were fun and all the slides were open. There were more activities offered and they had dances every night(which was awesome because we were worried it would only be on the weekend and we might miss it). My kids favorite activities were the nightly dances, laser tag, both water slides, wibit, wave pool, hot tub, mini golf, outdoor movie and snacks, riding on the golf cart, bounce bubble, and pledge of allegiance. Thank you for a great vacation!

Ignore the bad reviews. They made me skeptical, but we had a great time. Staff was friendly, the park was nice, activities were fun. We enjoyed the wibit and pools. The bathrooms were clean. Golf cart rental was smooth. The tent sites are a little crammed, and the food areas could use some fly strips, but I can tell they were working to fix the things people complained about. Thank you for a nice experience.

After driving 5.5 hours, hungry kids wanted pizza planned to eat right away. Could not Check in till over an hour after 4pm the slotted check in time. By that time it started pouring down rain (muddy mess), & no roof on overhang part of cabin patio. There were no concessions open outside of one near pool which was fine however at the cabin the kids kept picking up nails and small sharp pieces of fencing from construction…many many sharp pieces. Normally would just never leave reviews however to add to this stay we had a golf cart official come to our camp site asked how things were since these are new new cabins. In front of the kid’s offered some free pizza after discussing this. Great our kids love pizza! Well there was nothing no certificate no discount on check out etc etc. when we did use concessions at the pool the order was totally wrong and had to wait watching ice cream melt while they fixed it lol… I mean hey we get it…it’s camping however you can’t promise kids free pizza and just disappear. That was the only part & reason for this review. We left some out but you get the point.Safety: Need to clean up cabins areas many sharp metal objects in sand/dirt.Food & drinks: Not much for options

We love this campground. The staff is always kind and helpful. There is plenty of activities to keep the kids busy all week long. Unfortunately this week my son broke his arm (not the fault of the campground). Jolene was such a kind helper. She recognized that my son was not going to be able to get into the water for the remainder of our trip so she did everything in her power to make the rest of his trip enjoyable. We were able to rent a golf cart, she gave him ice cream tokens and a token for the picnic basket. He is such a happy boy here even though he can’t swim.

Bathrooms were cleaner than last year. Water slides were open, seems like they have more staff. They have new attractions & looks like they are remodeling a lot.I think it gets expensive to have to pay to get into WIbit when we already pay to be there. Is we stay we should get 1 entry per person. I think good things are coming with new owners.

We love yogi bear!! We have been coming here for the last 5 years and my daughter loves it so much!! There is so much to do here for kids, there seems to never be anytime to relax though 🤣 the dance parties this year were so fun, my daughter especially liked those!! Last year was a little rough around here but I think this year it was a lot better. I know a new company took over and a lot of renovations are being done but I think they are cleaning it up pretty nice! Our cabin was in good shape and they even supply the sheets now and they got new mattresses(thank God because the old ones were horrendous) the only complaint I have for cabin CC11 is that the small window on the door has no curtains and it got pretty light in the cabin early in the morning. Also, if management is reading this and taking constructive criticism, bathouse 3 needs a ton of work...half the showers didn't work and the water heater kept turning off, staff tried to fix it and were really quick about it but it didn't last long. Other than that we enjoyed our annual trip like always and enjoyed the new WiBits!

Beds were comfy and clean. We had 3 cabins for 12 people and it was good for overall space, but each cabin was missing amenities so that we needed to combine the three to make a whole. One had no wifi router and a comically small tv. Another had an oven with the numbers worn off the temperature knob. The third had a faucet falling off in their shower. However, still better than tent life and the staff was quick to respond to issues. Attractions are well maintained, and very "open" which is nice. No lines for mini golf because it was mostly self serve. Sandy beach is shallow but fun. Paddle boats are non existent and way off by themselves (well, itself, there is only 1, max weight 130lb). Still, I would consider going back with my family and it is a nice relaxing location.

We camped here this weekend and overall it was great! I was extremely worried after reading some recent reviews, but I did not experience the things described. We rented a cozy cabin and it was great. Cleanliness overall was good - I was most worried about this but bathrooms I used were all clean. In our cabin, there were some spider webs that could be taken care of in the interior of the windows and upper corners, but other than that was clean. I took off one star for this and some other small things - the basic pool areas desperately need to be rehabbed - the concrete and pool needs repair and chairs were looking rough. Need more tubes for the lazy river. It seems like they are making improvements as well. Overall, I would definitely return - so much to do that is included, we really loved the green slide!

We go to Jellystone Warrens 2 to 3 times a year. Been doing so since 2010. We only have a couple complaints and it’s only about the seasonal campers.Other than that It’s our favorite vacation spot especially for my son who is on the autism spectrum. We let him ride his bike around the entire campground whenever he wants besides quiet time after 11pm which is the parks rules. The night life for kids is so fun for all ages. The jumping pillow and the DJ dance party is such a great time with the music and the excellent staff joining in on all the fun.The lifeguards are are very professional and work very hard to make me as a parent feel like my kids are safe. The cleaning staff are so professional and very friendly. They do such a wonderful job.The couple things that we have a problem with is some but not all of the teenagers that are seasonal campers become territorial of the dance area and jumping pillow. They have sometimes bullied my autistic teenager when he has been alone there. The staff was really great at stopping and talking to those teenagers and the parents, However when there is no staff around they would continue to pick on my son.One other thing about the seasonal campers when you drive into the park there are a couple of seasonal park models that have really large political signs and political statement signsIt’s All over there entire park models. I don’t agree or disagree about the politics. We just want to go and escape all the political divide that’s in everyone’s world nowadays. It brings down the mood while you are driving in and when you go past it on the way to the pool and common area.Other than the my two complaints about the seasonal campers it’s our favorite place to vacation.

My daughter had rented a cabin for her daughter’s birthday celebration here. It was a very nice cabin, it was clean and roomy, Wi-Fi didn’t work. When we got there it was at 4:00 pm we unloaded, got the cabin situated and then headed to the water park. Unfortunately for us the main pool area, the lazy river, wave pool, the 2 main slides, the inflatable water course all closed at 6pm. That left us with one pool area that was so over crowded, not to mention that the pools themselves had major cracks in the walls they were dirty. The chairs and lounge seats were so worn out it looked like they would rip out as soon as you sit on them. We also found the beach/pond area that was also still open and that was a very nice spot. It was to deep for the kids, however they had a swing set up in the water but only one swing was usable as the other one was broken. The next day we got to the water park nice and early so the kids could enjoy all the amenities. Come to find out that the inflatable water obstacle course was an extra $15.00 per hour, per person. The lazy river was the laziest river I have ever been on as it barely moved. Also pretty small as was the wave pool.I still do not understand why they would shut down 90% of the water park at 6pm when there is so much daylight left in the day.It was a nice place, but it was not cheap to only be able to access the full amenities 1/2 of the time. They can also use some upgrades on the one pool area they leave open until 9 pm.

Our 1st official camping excursion and it was perfect!! Check-in was smooth. The front office lady Susan, was extremely welcoming and helpful! The site was nice and clean with all of the hookups and plenty of room for our 17' Wolf Pup. The pools and water parks were terrific! My opinion, the lazy river could use a little more current but that's not necessarily a negative as it was still relaxing af. Our kids are 9, 7 and almost 2 and they absolutely LOVED the whole place!! We will definitely be returning! Thank you JP of Warrens for the memories!

Another great year at jellystone!!! The pools were fantastic and warm. The improvements are great. The new additions are very fun. Love the new shop layout. The staff we talked to were very friendly and helpful. Loved seeing the staff driving golf carts around with smiles on thier face. The girl that wqs working the golf cart check in on Thursday deserves a raise she was doing it alone with a line of people waiting running back and forth and doing a great job in the hot Temps. Our cabin was through warrens lodging and it was clean and well stocked with all the kitchen supplies needed. Can't wait for our next yearly trip!

Update - please read their response before booking and look at the pictures in my review of how gross this place is. They charge $95 per night plus $9 per wrist band. $140 per day for a family of 5. And all they have to say is sorry. They should be refunding people money! What they promise when you book is not what you get. They chose to have their park in this condition. They are overpriced and rundown. If they cannot have the amenities you paid for when you booked you should get money back. Their understaffing is not my problem. They are about double per night of what other campgrounds charge for water, electric, and sewer. Plus you get charged $9 per day per person just to be on their property. I assumed it was for the water park. Check in is at 4pm. We arrived around 4:30. By the time you setup and eat dinner, the water park already is closed at 6pm. Stayed Wed to Mon over Labor Day weekend. Check out Monday is 11am. We were going to let the kids swim again Monday since we paid $9 for each wristband per day - they didn’t even plan on having the water park open Monday. The big slide and green slide were closed because of staffing issues Thursday and Friday. The green slide never opened Saturday or Sunday like the staff said it would. The water park has not had a penny spent on it since it was built. Two pools were tapped off and green. Weeds growing everywhere that were 3’ or higher. WiFi does not work. People had to inflate their own tubes. A lot of the kids splash pad isn’t working. There are no paddle boats. You have to pay $15 per person extra for 1 hour on the WiBit. The adult hot tube was literally brown from the rust build up. At these prices this place should be pristine. Even little things like the sidewalk at the beach is covered in inches of sand like it has not been swept off all summer. The outdoor showers and foot shower to rinse off after the beach was covered in sand like it hasn’t been cleaned all year. We made the best out of it, but could have spent 1/2 the price going someplace else and the water park would have been in nice condition. Anyone that wants to come visit you at the campsite for a little bit they also want to charge $9 per person just to come on their grounds. No other campground does that.

We had started an annual tradition of coming here with the cousins, but unfortunately, I think this will be our last year. We had this scheduled 7 months ago and couldn’t get the limo golf cart for our entire stay to accommodate everyone, so had to change it out twice during our 5 night stay and we are now informed that we have to drop off the cart at 11 and can’t pick up the next one until 2, even though we have paid for carts for the entire stay. We are almost to the back of the campground and with 5 kids, is a long walk with all of our stuff to get to the pool. If there hadn’t been some sitting there, I would have understood more. Also said they need time to get them ready, but the golf cart we had the first night had a bunch of food crumbs in the console part, so not sure what they “need to get ready” when it’s obvious they don’t get cleaned. Also when we got to our campsite. It had garbage all over it and a bunch of burnt water bottles, garbage and cans in the fire pit we had cleaned ourselves. I know this isn’t Jellystone’s fault for the poor camping etiquette by the previous campers, but one would think they would check the spots where people are coming to check in. For the over$1,700 we spent on staying here (not including the extra stuff that’s not included), they had no desire on helping us find a solution or even working with us at all. Most of the staff was super friendly and very informative, which is why I gave it 2 starts instead of 1. This is a bummer of an experience here and will be looking at better places for the future years.

We camped with our travel trailer for three nights. We had site 208, it was terrible. All weeds and dirt. Very un level. Huge holes. It was almost impossible to find a place to set up. FYI 209 looked just as bad, it was open next to us. Had asked for a golf cart in my reservation and called. No surprise we didn't get a golf cart. Staff helpfulness was about 50/50 some were great and others acted like you were a total bother. No consistency in the hours that attractions were open and at times it was very limited. If you don't have the staff to have everything open then discount the rates. Communication that you need to reserve a time and per pay $15 to use the wibit would be nice. We told our kids they could do it and most times were full. Could use general maintenance, updating, and cleaning.

We stayed in villas last year, and this year they still needed lots of TLC. Floors were dirty… kids had black feet from walking on the floors. We had to wash the floors when we arrived on our hands and knees. Aluminum foil was used to hold broken window shades up. They don’t use fitted sheets on beds; just a sheet. Which doesn’t stay in place so the mattress pad is dirty from people sleeping on that instead. Landscaping around the villa is in disrepair. Screen off the window. We had to call cause lights in our upstairs didn’t work. They only give you two trash bags… may wanna bring your own. And extra toilet paper. It’s suuuper thin.Kids loved mini golf but the courses and landscape around them could use lots of upkeep. There were no balls available when we went golfing so we sent our 4 yo over the booth to get more balls so we could golf. One of the holes is broken… you lose your ball everytime goes in! Lol (the newer course about half way through). We ran into an employee who was mowing who said the kids who work here wouldn’t know a day of work of it hit them in the face. I would believe it… we saw a life guard vaping near the pool. It’s nice there is a swimming area open after 6pm for kids to cool off. However lots of broken concrete on the sides.Addition of the bouncy pad thing by former volleyball courts was great… kids loved it.Essentially kids had fun however the upkeep needed is beyond what they are able to take care of. We were hoping this year would be better but it wasn’t. :/

This is our 5th or 6th trip to JS.We stayed in a new cabin. They were great. Some shelves in the bathroom would be a great addition and in the kitchen area as well. We hope they stay nice!Wibit was totally worth it. We did it twice. You can tell they are making some improvements to things but some items still need to be updated (bathrooms and pools)Staff was fantastic in the store area and reception. Lifeguards were hit or miss. We were with our kids the entire time. They were extremely loose on all the rules. Some were on their phones/AirPods watching videos while on duty in the kid area. Things that would get you fired anywhere else.Yogi bear cartoons at night are always great! The activities were great. Overall we were super impressed with the changes made this year and look forward to 2024.

My family and I stayed there 7/09 - 7/15. I will be honest, after reading some of the reviews I was a bit nervous about what to expect. To be fair, the showers weren't the greatest. My family and I wouldn't go in there without wearing shoes. That said, the rest of the trip was great and that wasn't a deal breaker for us. I still managed to feel clean after a shower. Our camper cabin was awesome. My kids had a great time at the water park and doing the other activities. I never felt any concern about the cleanliness of the pools. The mini golf and outdoor theater were awesome as well. They had some cool activities for the kids to do every day. The staff there was great. One thing we learned is if you want a golf cart try and reserve one ahead of time. This was our first time there and we didn't know so we ended up walking a bunch which was fine with us. If you go in to it knowing that it's camp ground that has some fun features and amenities and are comfortable with that, you will have a good time. We will be back next year.

The cabin: Looked absolutely nothing like the online photos, which one of the check-in staff agreed with. Actual mold on the windows and bathroom floor, almost every dish provided had food crust on it, old food in many of the cracks in the floorboards on the screened-in porch, cabin floor was so dirty we all ended up keeping our shoes on, the pillows were the best part. If this cabin was not $350 per night all these things would have been more tolerable, but my god what a rip off. Also lots of bits of trash all over in the yard. No one returned our message sent weeks in advance trying to reserve a golf cart, they basically laughed in our faces at check-in, stating all carts had been booked since last October. Water park: used bandaids littering the pool deck, no soap in most of the bathrooms, the tables were filthy and never got wiped once the entire weekend. All but one pool closes at 6pm. The kids had fun of course but we adults were truly disgusted.Rooms: Filthy

We had our camper there pretty pricey for what they offer, charge $15 hr per child to play on the climbing float in a fenced in pond. No one else that I found charges for that. Sites were pretty small also.Nearby activities: Aside from the Waterpark there is nothing else around
