They'll help you get outfitted with nearly anything you'd need for backpacking, canoeing, hunting or work. Absolutely a must-visit for any outdoor enthusiasts in the area.

Northwest Outlet has by far the best customer service of any outdoor supply company I’ve ever purchased from. Highly recommend making equipment purchases from them because they will back your purchase up and do exchanges for most products if it isn’t want you ended up needing. Great group of extremely knowledgeable and helpful folks!

They have just about everything you need to get outdoors. The variety of items and the helpful staff would allow you to take a person new to the outdoors there and outfit them for the trail. I stopped in while on vacation and I'll definitely be stopping in again when I'm in the area!

Regardless of what adventure I find myself preparing for, their staff is always attentive and ready to help. Yes, you will pay a couple bucks more, but it is worth it for the service and ability to see a touch a product before you buy!! Totally recommend this place.

Very nice young man helped me. Inventory was low. But we found a pair of winter boots that fit (Baffin}. Comfortable and dry. However, my feet get cold quickly. My beat-up 25 YO LaCrosse boots are warmer.

Quality store, if you are looking for fishing gear there are better places. On the other hand if wilderness quality camping gear is what you seek you are in the right place. They saved me on an upgrade to my wisperlite camp stove. Staff are friendly, if you find one that can't answer your question, they'll refer you to someone who can. A must for local outdoors men/women, and frequent campers from elsewhere.

Went to get some FR (flame resistant) clothing today and the staff was excellent. I would have gotten the wrong gear in a number of different ways, however, their experience prevented that. All the way down to making sure I would care for it properly. It was a wonderful experience. Thanks Northwest Outlet.

Shopped for FR work clothing on this trip. Selection was decent and quality was good. I did have an issue with a pair of FR pants beginning to fray at a seam. They reached the item without any issue. Good customer service.

I had a wonderful experience. Not only was Chris very helpful. He assisted me with the purchase of snow pants, a jacket, face protection and gloves. He pointed out the price differences and fabric differences. I left feeling like I made all the right choices and the gear I needed. Before going into the store I read reviews about this place. Everyone wrote about the prices being too high. When I went in that was one of my main concerns because I am going into volunteer search and rescue and I have to supply all my own gear. After getting new snow pants (with bib), jacket, face guard, gloves and boots, I paid a total of $410. I would say that is a fair price for the quality of these articles. I need to be able to use these articles of clothing on snowmobiles, sports utility equipment, boats, etc. They are waterproof and built for below freezing temperatures. I have gone on 3 hour walks with my K9 and haven't had any issues keeping warm. If you want quality products, knowledgeable and friendly staff, decent prices, you need to stop and look here first. I have shopped at other outfitter type stores up the North Shore, and they can get pretty expensive....

A surprisingly well-stocked and knowledgeable outdoor supply store with a good range of gear you could need in this part of Lake Superior. Plenty of parking, easy location to get to, good hours for most days, and they often have some great finds on special. Should definitely be one of your first stops in town if you need to find something for your outdoor adventures.

Good collection to buy from , but again I don't understand why people from this region seem to be rude and racist , Not only at this store but at other stores in this region of the USA but once they get your hard earned dollars they aren't as polite and friendly as them seem to be before they take your money and they are quick to stop engaging with you and are quick to turn their back to you and walk away like you have some kind of plague !!!! Friendly staff very helpful. Wonderful selection of anything and everything you need for outdoor adventures. My husband picked up winter workboots, I picked up a carhartt hat and we even got our young girls some adorable new mittens. Great prices. Great quality gear.

Hours say they are open (Saturday at 1:30), yet drove all the way out from Esko for them to be closed. This is the second time this place has disappointed me. I should’ve just known better and went to Trail Fitters in Duluth.

This place is pretty awesome. I plan on shopping here more while I'm in Duluth. They have a wide variety and great selection of items for work, winter or just casual wear. It's a one stop shop. O highly recommend to anyone looking for work clothes or winter clothing.

I was there in work clothes shopping for new Jacket and hats, noticed I was being followed around and frequently asked if I need anything. They definitely judged me by my attire. I picked up a jacket from rack of the middle room of store and observed it, and put it back and I hear 1 of the 3 Seagals/employees say "thank god". Well I did continue to shop. When I brought my merchandise to counter the bigger girl behind counter looked scared and stared blankly maybe discombobulated. Truth be told they judged me by my attire, but had plenty for what ever I needed. I guess they wish they judged me by car instead... respect everyone!!! I'm a Superior native. Hate having to go in this store. Their longer term employees have always had a cold and impersonal aire about them, especially if they don't feel you fit their visual judgement perception. I look like a man, and I have the money to shop there, but don't seem to get the attention I've earned. They're all over you if you come in with an Employers credit card though if you need $1000's in gear. Their retail store employees arrogance is laughable. I wanted a Stormy Kromer hat, which I purchased but pretty sure I'm going to return it because it made me ill to give them my money. Many of the part-time kids that they employ can be polite, and sometimes helpful though.

Shopping for new Columbia jacket,first ignored by staff, then very obviously followed around store, as if a thief.Terrible experience.Imagine how many potential customers are alienated by this treatment.
