My coworkers and I decided to order a cake to tease another coworker who’d been on vacation for a while. We found just the thing we were looking for: a middle-of-the-road, consistently 3-star, fully customizable cake from Walmart. I requested pink frosting with black rim, words to say “Thank you for your taxable support,” and pastel sprinkles to be ready by 5pm on Saturday.The cake was actually done far in advance of 5pm, so that was nice. When I arrived at Walmart, I had to ask three different associates for help on where to pick up the cake, one of which sent me into the hard-hat construction zone (the cake wasn’t there). When I was finally led to the right place, I received the cake, and I opened the box excitedly in anticipation. It was everything I hoped, and more. Pastel sprinkles completely absent, writing misspelled - perfect.Thank you, Walmart, for a truly Walmart-esque experience. Please, never change.

I want to compliment a store employee who assisted me in a marine battery purchase. My son and I were talking about only one battery in stock, we needed 2, store employee Patrick happened to walk by and asked him, he enthusiasticly assisted us first by assessing our needs of what kind of deep cycle battery we needed (he had product knowledge!), he said inventory showed more in back. Patrick gladly went to get us some batteries. I expressed my appreciation to him; I remarked to him in most cases store employees in big box stores have no knowledge and/or try to avoid helping a customer out, he proudly said it is his job to work for the customer, I was taken back with such positive enthusiasm. I would add after he helped us he was actively helping the next customer. You just do not see that these days. If someone reads this at the store he should be recognized for doing an outstanding job.

I love shopping at Sturgeon Bay Walmart VS Green Bay but I wish the shelves didn't always seem so bare. It's a huge challenge to get everything on my list.

Whoever is in charge of the construction and "updates" obviously does NOT shop at this location.You've made in-store checkouts a nightmare.You've made pick up and pay a zero-parking spaces available black hole of nothing-ness.I'm not opposed to change - but change that makes it infinitely more challenging for a customer to make their purchases and be on their way = your customers will turn to alternative shopping avenues.I know I won't be shopping here again anytime soon - I'd rather drive to Green Bay than deal with this headache!

Hopefully operations of this store gets an update along with the physical aspect. I get places are short staffed everywhere but the Pharmacy is always so slow. Along with last night grocery shopping and the fire alarm went off 1/2 the employees didn’t seem to even know what to do to get people out. Not sure if it was a false alarm or a real fire, hope everyone’s okay but as a customer a bit ticked off after that experience.

Usually, no checkout lanes are open for people with children and sometimes there is nobody up by the self checkouts to approve alcohol purchases. Can take 5 to 10 minutes for then to show up. The store is usually clean and organized though.

Don't EVER work for walmart! It's Feb 12th and I'm still waiting on my w2 to come!! Nobody answers the phone to try and address the issue...I have called over 25 times and can't get ahold of ANYBODY! This company SUCKS for customer service! I worked at the sturgeon bay location and don't recommend employment!! Very dissapointed!!

I had ordered the steam deck through Walmart thinking that it would come fast like the rest of the things that I got through there. The order was originally supposed to come Tuesday but the got delayed till Friday and just now on Thursday was delivered to a facility in Minnesota. Now I’m sure that I won’t get it till the weekend. In my opinion, never order through Walmart.

Another horrible experience at Walmart Sturgeon Bay, WI. You really don't save any money here. Employees (when there are any) have the worst attitudes and no help whatsoever. Talked to a manager about a problem and all we got was "I just work here". What a waste of a resource. No more Walmart shopping and done supporting the Walton family's super yacht.

The family restroom was a wonderful surprise. It had a small toilet and a full sized toilet. It had a changing table with the paper towel liners. It was spacious and clean.Overall the Walmart met my expectations-- having the few grocery and miscellaneous items U wanted. Having an exceptional family restroom when I needed it made it a great stop.

Not one manned register, only self checkout. Had I had a cart full of products I would have walked out. Don't mind self checkout with a few items, but not a full cart. I know labor is tight, but there were staff members just standing around that could have been at a register.

Went in around 5 pm on a Wednesday was not to busy but the lack of human cashiers made the lines longer then they should have been. With that said I went looking for ammo and the prices were actually pretty decent comparatively.

Waiting to check out is ridiculousThey had 2 people working and checking people checkoutThen, self check out and had 2 checkouts out of order. Then, the only person helping in the area was always somewhere else. The wait time for ok for our beer was 10 plus minutes. Are there manager teams too good to step in when self checkout lines were past watermelons . The 2 people doing checkout lines were into clothing. This is happening almost daily. You need new leadership.

Sturgeon bay is a beautiful place and then you go to Walmart... whats the point of even having employees. They are so rude. They dont deserve a dime. Do Better Walmart employees. SMH

Very nice staff and decent groceries. Curbside pickup is excellent. However, trying to check out inside is always a problem. I have never managed to make it through a line even with just one or two people in front of me and less than 15 minutes. Either the checker is too chatty, or they are changing shift, or something is wrong with the computer so the cashier can’t get the register to work, or they send someone for a replacement item, etc. The return line can also be quite long because there’s generally just one person working there and the few times I’ve had to return there was someone in front of me with a whole basket full of stuff to do. But then, I guess that’s Walmart.

This store is the worst one I’ve ever been to. Whenever they run out of anything it takes months, like 4-6 months on average to restock it and their selection is less than any other Walmart I’ve seen. The service desk is a ghost town and nobody really seems to know what’s going on. Management is nonexistent

While shopping at this Walmart went around had probably 20 orso 30 items in the cart came up to check out. there was not a single cash register line open but at least four employees in the self-checkout area asked if there could open a line for me and would not instead of making a big stink in the store just left the cart by the exit and walked out. By the way there's only 11 checkout lines I think or 10 but 15 self check-out cash registers

As a resident of Sturgeon Bay, I’m very disappointed with our WalMart. The last few times I’ve been there, a few of the employees that stock items have been very rude. They have shaken their heads and seem disgusted that customers are trying to get around them to reach the items that they are blocking. I understand that they have a job to do but they should not be so rude and exhibit their frustration in front of the customers. That being said, I will be taking my business elsewhere and telling everyone I know to do the same.

Walmart Super Stores have all your needs! Recently shopped at the Shawano Walmart as we were camping at North Star! Had fun shopping and found what we needed. Also use the Green Bay and Sturgeon Bay Walmarts!

Every time I go to this store their shelves are bare. No distilled water anywhere. What is this, Soviet Russia before the fall of the wall? In the pharmacy many over-the-counter items are bare. What is going on with this store/this company? Their CFO told Wall Street analysts last week that consumers are difficult to analyze. No we are not. We don't shop at places that don't carry products advertised on the web site.

This was a hated trip. If I wouldn't of forgotten items at home I wouldn't have gone here. They only had self check out open and we were lined up down down the lanes into other parts of the store. Any savings I may have gotten I lost by my time and frustration with the checkout.

Staff helpful during shopping. We are usually asked if would like help locating products. Staff will go out of their way to assist when needed and are quick to respond at self checkout.

The pharmacist was probably the friendliest and most helpful I have ever met. I had to have a prescription transferred from my home state because it was mistakenly sent there. They were friendly, helpful and very quick to fill the prescription. The pharmacist came right over to give a consultation and offer helpful advice. I was very impressed.

I visited Walmart in SB this week to buy two simple plastic chairs. Unsure if they would fit in the space I needed them, I ensured through Sue (garden area) that they were returnable when she rang them up. Sadly they did not fit, and I returned (with receipt) the very next day.I brought the chairs to customer service for a refund to be met by a lady who said "No idea who is working this department, I am not doing returns". So we stood a few minutes and asked her what we should do. Response: "I do not know, I am not doing returns" and an eye roll. Really??? We asked her (third interaction) if she could call someone. One of the many people watching this happen from 20 feet away finally walked over.Lorie (whose tag said team lead) looked at the chairs, my receipt, and announced (in an exasperated voice) that they had been rung up wrong, so she did not know what to do. Again, we sat while she seemed VERY annoyed that we were in the store and talked to herself about her colleague that did not know what she was doing in the initial transaction. She finally called a manager (Michael), who started the process and was seemingly kind (but annoyed with his staff, for good reason). After he got her settled and started the process, she loudly announced that I need to have a merchandise credit rather than a refund. Remember we had the receipt, ID, and the credit card purchased with...So no reason for this in my mind. Her response? "Well, the checker rang it up wrong yesterday so I do not know how to do this".Thankfully, I pushed back on this idea and Michael came to finish the transaction.There will never come a day that I step foot in this store again.I know help is hard to find, but this was simply ridiculous.

After yesterday's experience (Dec.17,2022) with the rudest cashier I've ever met in my 62 years of life, I will never spend another penny with Walmart! If they had negative stars it would be a -5. Not only did the cashier yell at me repeatedly, as she rang items up she kept demanding I put them back in my cart, which was still 1/2 full of unpaid items. I asked how am I supposed to keep the items separate that were already rang up. She didn't care! I told her she ABSOLUTELY no business doing that job with the way she treated people. Another older couple behind us couldn't believe how she was acting. From now on I will patronize other businesses, that are more than happy to have my business and money!

Personally a 0 star, just to the fact covid is over and I'm still checking myself out with 3kids, but one selfcheck only takes card one only takes cash but I had both. Wander to find one that took both. Do better. But I'll have eight employees with eyes on me making sure I'm not stealing anything, do your job in the first place. How about that?.
