We came by on a Sunday in late October, probably the last weekend of good weather for the year. Fall colors were at peak on the drive to the cidery, and the orchard looked beautiful as well. We found the place to be busy but not cram-packed; there was seating indoors and out for people to enjoy their drinks.We had only one person ahead of us in line, so the ordering process went fast. We ordered a cider flight, which included four drinks; at this point in the season, they had five to choose from. We also ordered some cookies and little apple strudels from the bakery case in the adjoining room, which also had different apple bags available for purchase. Several of the apples had a samples available, kept under a dome to keep away the fruit flies that were swirling around.The ciders and pastries were tasty. I browsed the shop afterward. This would be a good place to gift shop. They had jams and jellies, home decorative items that kept to a wine theme, and of course, their ciders and wines.

We visited yesterday and loved it. The staff was very nice and very knowledgeable. They have a good selection of wine and ciders. The ciders are exceptionally great- even my husband liked them and he is not normally a hard cider drinker. The Red Hawk was our favorite. We can’t wait to visit again when in the area!

Nice apple orchard. They have a couple ciders made there. Flights of cider, wine, and mead available to taste. Baked goods and gift available in gift shop. A popular spot for families as well as bridal parties. Good tasting ciders! Dog friendly patio

I’ve been here many times and it’s one of my favorite day trips from the Cities! They have excellent cider, suburb and helpful staff, and great flights of wine. Highly recommend!

We came in on a Thursdayin the early afternoon. A flight is 2 ounce pours of 4 wines, 4 meads, or 2 wines and 2 meads. I found 8 things I wanted to sample, so I -had- to get two flights... and some crackers. We sat outside under the porch and sipped wine for an hour before we paid for the flight and our other purchases.A beautiful day out in the sun checking out the fall colors.

I wouldn't have gone if I'd known there was no nonalcoholic cider, but it was a nice tasting. The two ciders I really liked were not available for sale though. Altogether, nice place and tasty hard ciders.

Such a fun place to visit. Delicious ciders and a gorgeous property to walk around the orchards. The owner was behind the bar serving our tasting flights and explaining the production processes. Love supporting a family owned business and their experience is enjoyable for locals and tourists alike.

You'll enjoy a nice, scenic drive to this pleasant little orchard and winery/cidery. It's a great place to take children to pick apples! They also have a cute little store where they sell their wines, hard ciders, honey, and jellies/preserves. The staff is friendly and the restrooms are clean! There were several couples and small groups there while we were visiting, but we felt safe as everyone inside the building was wearing masks, and the tables outdoors were well distanced from each other.

Visited last weekend (early May) and thought the property was beautiful! Would love to come back in the fall. Carol and Rocky were very good hosts on an odd Monday morning (our last stop of our girls trip) and I left with a bottle of the Bitter Love cider after I had a glass to try. So delicious!

Fun experienceAs a hesitant cider drinker I wasn't sure what to expect.I found a flight that splits cider and wine and enjoyed each selection outside under the shade of two amazing Maple trees.Highly recommend this relaxing setting and great selection.Brought home some cider to enjoy on my patio.

Beautiful drive to the winery/cidery but the place wasn't that great.*The salesroom was extremely unorganized*We had to find someone to wait on us, another couple left because they couldn't find anyone to help them*I was hopeful the cider would change my mind... not so much. I'm an avid cider drinker and these were not great.The location and orchard is beautiful - they are sitting on a great opportunity for a family friendly day out, but unfortunately don't seem to utilize the opportunity. We won't be going back.

Very good ciders. They have tons of options between ciders and wines from other wineries available as well. 3 free tastings per person, then any other tastings are $1.The area is beautiful. You can walk through the giant apple orchard. Also available are a corn maze, apple picking, corn hole, a mini zip line, and a tire swing.

Stayed here through Harvest Host. We were the only ones camping for the night. Staff was very friendly. We enjoyed a flight of hard cider & a flight of mead. Also couldn't resist getting a few items from the gift shop. What a wonderful place. Would definitely come back!

Early as the apple trees have yet to leaf. Maden Rock Winery and Cidery is lovely to visit any time of year. Still have their products visible and saleable from last fall's crop.friendly owners. Hard cider purchased for our grown family visiting safely this week.

Interesting ciders and local wines are featured. The ciders we tried were delicious. The owner, Carol was fun to talk to and very knowledgable about development of cidar industry.

Decent wine and cider. The honey crisp cider was our favorite. Fairly large pours at 4oz in the flights. Great out door area. Tire swing and a zipline to keep the kids entertained.

This place only has 4 ciders and 2 wines that are actually made there, the remaining selection is from other wineries. Good conversation with the staff. Beautiful orchards on each side of the driveway on the way up to the tasting room.

Great location right out of stockholm. The facility was clean. The service was quite knowledgeable and friendly. They carry a variety of cider and wines. The ciders we sampled ranged from simple to dry and rather complex.

They were out of apples for sale. The staff though was very friendly. We purchased honey crisp hard cider. We've had it before and it's been very good in the past. Not busy at all when we were there.

Been here several time over the past few years. Always liked samples and bought several things to try. Not this time. Had 4 jars of butters and preserves and 2 packs of cider but stood at the tasting bar for 15 minutes with nobody acknowledging me. 3 employees serving with only 8 people at the bar at this point. Dropped everything and left! Will not return, not worth the unpleasantness.

Came here with the winery passport. You get 3 free tastings complimentary and then each one after is $1. We got 4 tastings, so with the book you save $1. Save the stamp and spend the dollar. Wish I would have known this before my book was stamped. Wines weren't even that good and the guy helping us didn't talk about the wines or anything. The sheet doesnt say anything about the wines either. Was totally guessing on the winetasting.

Friend and I went to Red Wing a few months ago on a mini vacation and at the last second saw the sign for a winery along 35. Turned around and checked it out. Delicious mead! Bought a bottle, will return!

I’m usually not a fan of cider but this was so good I bought some to take home! It was great to talk to them about the different kinds of apples they have there ! I’ll be visiting again very soon!
