We went here on a whim, and let me tell you, it was a truly delicious fantasy. Starting with the staff, they were all extremely warm, welcoming, and very professional. There was a little wait to be seated but, they have a wine bar next door that you can sit and relax at while you wait. We had the pork belly as an appetizer and a sweet potato medley soup. The pork belly was just a touch over cooked, however it had a perfect glaze and was on top of a bed of sweet corn that had a light spice element. We then had a anjou Pear and goat cheese salad. The salad believe it or not was one of the best components of the whole night. It was a truly surprising experience with the creaminess and richness of the goat cheese, the acidity of the Pear, the sourness of the cranberry, and the crunch of perfectly crushed walnuts. This salad was completely devoured and unexpected. For the main course we did the braised short rib. The short rib was cooked to absolute perfection. It was juicy and melted in your mouth. We only regret not having room for dessert. This is a must try and add to your list if you plan on visiting Door County this season.

This place has it all! Great food, awesome service, and a really cool atmosphere. If you're looking for something different, this is it. Thyme is a farm to table restaurant, using local ingredients. They have really unique things on the menu, and everything we tried was excellent. We wanted to try everything! We had great service, with a smile and really enjoyed ourselves. There is outdoor seating for the warmer months. This place has a neat aesthetic to it, and a really nice atmosphere. We got there right when they opened, and they got busy very quickly.Vegetarian options: There are plenty of options on the menu. Everything is labeled for dietary restrictions

We had a fantastic experience working with Anne from Thyme to cater our event! They met us at our space ahead of time to plan the menu and took care of everything from start to finish. They even brought some festive decorations. We ended up with the perfect amount of food as well. Such lovely people, and seriously delicious food. Highly recommend!

Best cheese curds we've ever had! The food was delicious, everyone was pleased. The bathrooms were clean and the service from the staff was friendly and fast. We will definitely be coming back, probably every trip we make to door county. Get the pecan salmon, you won't regret it!Vegetarian options: Lots of Flatbread pizzas, soups, salads and a daily vegetarian special to choose from!Dietary restrictions: There were several GF options and substitutes. All Flatbread pizzas are on cauliflower crusts.Kid-friendliness: A kids menu that's customizable for even the pickiest eater.

My husband and I went to the wine bar next door and discovered the restaurant next door was open (however it wasn’t showing up on google maps). While we were sipping wine, we decided to place a to go order for a few appetizers from here. Albeit we are “out of season” (April), the wait for our food was super short!! We ordered thebruschetta, whipped ricotta cheese with honey, and lemon pepper Cajun shrimp. Originally, my husband was most excited for the shrimp and I was looking forward to the whipped ricotta, and we both highly appreciate a good bruschetta.. However, a few bites into our meals, I was scarfing down the shrimp which comes on a bed of corn polenta, (typically I’d say I’m not a huge polenta fan but that changed after trying Thyme’s corn polenta this weekend), and my husband couldn’t decided between the bruschetta and whipped ricotta when I asked for his favorite. All that to say, everything we ordered was so yummy!! I would highly recommend this place to my friends, family and even the royal family. That’s how good the food was. 10/10

1st time we tried Thyme and we will most definitely be back! The experience was superb from the start of the lobster bisque and whitefish cakes. The mains were fabulous too…salmon crusted salmon for me and turkey meatloaf for my carnivore. Service was excellent and the vibe was great too. We will be back next time we are in Door County.

We have dined at Thyme many times for both brunch and dinner and have always found the menu to have iems that are creative and presented with artistry.We had the opportunity to try their Italian themed dinner with wine pairings and that gave their culinary team a chance to really hit one out of the park. The wines complemented the dishes and brought out the best in both. The Bolognese was one of the best I have hadand the risotto was also very goodWe will be back for their regular offerings and hope that more theme dinners will be offered.Fantastic evening.

Thyme catered our wedding a couple weeks ago in Bailey's Harbor. Prior to the wedding we've gone up and eaten there several times, we've spent time at the wine bar next door, and we did a tasting of the wedding menu. We had a great experience every time. The food is incredible, and the menu is very unique. There are interesting options for everyone. They were very mindful in planning for any potential dietary restrictions our guests might have had. Anne went way above and beyond with the planning part of everything, she was very knowledgeable and made great suggestions to assure that everything came together for us. She even helped us make sure we'd have time to get sunset photos between dinner and dessert. The staff was highly professional, especially when having to deal with the rowdy kids. And they happily accommodated all of our special requests and accommodations. 10/10 experience, we will continue visiting Thyme whenever we are up in Door County. And I would recommend their catering services to anyone.

Cozy, pretty, wine and beer establishment open throughout the year (limited winter hours). Wine based cocktail was better than expected. Cauliflower bites were crunchy but not deep fried, salmon good, and staff a delight.Vegetarian options: Several tasty options, fish as well.

This spot is such a find! Elegant dining in the countryside, off the beaten path. I appreciated the ample outdoor seating and friendly service, as well as creative vegetarian dishes, including delicious skordalia (new to me, a sort of garlic potato dip) and mushroom-leek risotto. Sad we didn’t have big enough stomachs to also try the fig-pear-goat cheese flatbread. The wine was also on point.We did some damage to our wallets here, but it was so worth it.

Thank you!! We were just married on 10-10-2020 and the wedding was perfect. Tonda, Karl and all their staff blow us away and we quite literally feel every detail was perfect. Karl, thank you, this was the best steak i have ever eaten. You are a master chef. All of the food from the appetizers, the main course, desserts and late night snacks was fabulous. Elegant and laid-back feel, phenomenal food!Every element of every dish was thoughtfully and correctly prepared and everything worked together beautifully. The short rib, spicy garlic shrimp, and poke special were three of the best meals I’ve had in Door County (we come every year)… Even my 14-year-old said that her chicken tenders were the best she’s ever had.Our server (Amy) was attentive, courteous, and had a very pleasant attitude and presentation.Highly recommended if you’re looking for a delightful meal!

My wife and I dined here on our first night in Door County. The atmosphere is great and the service was excellent. I ordered the white fish chowder/stew and it was excellent. My wife had the Lobster bisque and it was off. Tasted like a burnt roux. Couldn't quite figure out what was going on but neither of us could finish it. We also had the pork belly small plate and we both thought it was okay. I could have eaten a gallon of the chowder. Will definitely try again.

Totally enjoyed our dinner at Thyme! Food was incredible and everything we tried delicious. Our server was great and didn't rush our courses, allowing us to savor each plate. No specific dress code and especially liked stopping by the winery nextdoor to select a bottle of wine to enjoy with our dinner. Plan on going back on our next stay in DC.

We used Thyme Catering for our wedding earlier this month and couldn't be happier with the service that they provided. The initial tasting blew us away and we were so excited to share the flavorful journey from appetizers through the main course and the late night snack with our wedding guests. Everyone loved the food and it was every bit as good at the wedding as it was during the tasting. Anne and Tonda were lovely people to work with as well. We couldn't have asked for a better experience.

This was our first time here during our trip over Memorial Day Weekend. We are foodies and can't say enough about how delicious the food was. We had an appetizer and split a meal. The wine list was very nice and the prices were very affordable. We will be back and shared our experience with others in the area. Top notch restaurant.
