I'm getting my work started next week.*UPDATE 11/30/23* The work has been completed on my house, and I couldn't be happier! Thadius was great! He was even willing to do some last-minute projects. Everything turned out great! I've posted some pictures of the work I had done. My only regret is that I forgot to take "before" pictures to post as well. I would definitely recommend them to friends and family. A very big thanks to Thadius, Chris, and Jeremy (appraiser)!My chimney had been covered up before. Moisture damage over the past few years wrecked the walls and the plaster around the chimney. Thadius took care of that and more! The last-minute add-on project was all the door trimming in the photos. We discussed pricing and options before he started any work. He went above and beyond by adding the baseboards as well, which I'm thrilled about!The "basement" photo is a former window. My house is 108 years old and settled into the ground. The windows, I had two replaced, had deteriorated and were sinking into the ground. Two more windows I had the window frame repaired. Chris had worked on the window frames while Thadius installed the cinder blocks.

I had to wait a couple of months before the repair guy could come which I totally understand but what I didn’t understand none of the prep for the new door frame , inside door frame was anticipated nor accounted for until i was told it was too late to go back, iwanted the end result to be as perfect as the new door but it didn’t turn out that way so now I’ll need yet another’s expertise to finish this one project, very disappointing

My business had several projects around the facility that needed to be addressed. Most of the projects were too small to engage a contractor, and too large to handle by our maintenance staff. I reached out to Ace to obtain some cost and time estimates, Paula responded to my request within a day and scheduled someone to come directly to my business and assess the project. I received a detailed cost estimate that met my expectations. We scheduled the work the same day I accepted the estimate. The craftsmen "Jeremy and Chris" completed the projects promptly and on cost. They were flexible in working around our business schedule and the backlog of another sub-contractor which pushed the final finish work back a couple weeks. I will continue to use Ace Handyman Services for these type of projects in the future.

They fixed a water damaged wall caused by insufficient flashing installed when the house was built. We even had rotten studs, but they completed the work in one day instead of the 3 scheduled. Our invoice was also much less than our quote. We are very pleased with their work and kindness.

We requested measurements to replace 10 windows. The measurements were taken on July 18. It is now July 31, and we still don’t have a quote. The office manager, Paula said that she is looking into the cost of the permit and which application to fill out. I called the City if Wausau and the permits are available on their website and the cost of the permit is $60.50. If it’s this difficult to get a quote I would be scared to contract our window replacements with this company. Sorry, your company just lost 15k or more because of poor communication and project management.

Eric showed up exactly on time. He was very professional, knowledgeable, and skilled. He took out a 50 year old exhaust fan on the kitchen wall, and installed a new one. The hole had to be enlarged a little and the outside housing had to be slightly modified, but he did a great job within 2 hours. The door and the floor looked great. Unfortunately the flooring that Eric had done did not sit flush about 1/16” and did not seal at the edges big surprise with the old flooring that was being matched. Over all it looks bad. He did not even match the pattern (we had a few left over pieces from when we had it installed originally). I was very disappointed and question why he was sent in the first place knowing I needed flooring specifically re-done. He stated to me when he was done that flooring wasn’t his strong suit (I could see this clearly when he was done). I am currently waiting for someone to fix it. The repair man said he would take care of that.Well…they sent a flooring expert (Jeremy) to fix the flooring. He did an amazing job with what he was left to work with. I would hire Jeremy back in a minute. Had I gotten him the first time around this would have been a five star review.
