Amazing experience. My cat needed to be seen last minute for an urgent care issue, and they were able to see him the same day. The staff is extremely kind and professional. They explained his care plan to me in full detail, and made sure all of my questions and concerns were addressed! I can't thank them enough! We will definitely be back!

I am very very picky with vets and how they treat my babies, but the west Salem vet clinic has went above and beyond. They are always willing to listen and give the best advice they can. I have never met a group of people more dedicated to helping animals, I always get a birthday email for all 3 of my kitties. And they always phrase it with “babies” or “kiddos” instead of cats, because they know they are FAMILY. I had brought my female cat, Kiki, in a long time ago, she had gotten a scratch on her eye. Everyone at this clinic made it their own personal mission to help her and ease my anxiety. She is still beautiful and as happy as can be. I trust this vet with my babies, they haven’t given me a reason not to.

About 2 weeks ago, our family had to make the tough decision to put our sweet dog Ruby down. As it was a Saturday and we were limited to where we could take her, I am so glad that we found West Salem Vet Clinic! From the moment we first talked over the phone, our family knew we were going to the right place. They have never met Ruby before, but they welcomed her as if they new her her whole life. While putting your dog down is one of the hardest things to do, we felt such peace after leaving the Vet Clinic. Moreover, our family will forever be grateful for the amazing support and compassion of the staff at West Salem Vet Clinic!

Always super nice staff. Incredibly helpful. My puppy had a large tumor. Doctor Bauer is super communicative and generous. If you are concerned about people taken advantage of you, then these people will put your mind at ease. They have earned my loyalty for my pets for life!

We have been bringing our dogs to West Salem vet for about 7 years now and always have a positive experience. Communication is great and they are always transparent with care options and information. It's obvious the entire staff care about you and your pet. Dr. Bauer is our favorite, empathetic, patient and I never feel rushed. All the vet techs have been lovely, especially Shannon :) The reception staff is efficient, friendly and compassionate.

We had a wonderful experience from start to finish. We scheduled a puppy check up for our 6 month old. We were scheduled to arrive on Thursday, the Saturday before-our puppy had some sort of episode or poisoning and seemed like she wasn't going to make it. We called their emergency line and was put in touch with a vet. She was fantastic. It helped us get through that Saturday night and the puppy recovered on Sunday. My husband took her to her appointment on Thursday and everything went great. We had the same consistent service from start to finish and we trust that they care as much as we do.

We recently adopted another rescue and we will bring her to West Salem Vet Clinic, too. They are patient, considerate and they care about our dogs. That's what you want and need in a clinic. Seem to genuinely care about your pet and you as an owner. I feel comfortable asking any questions I may have. Even with not being able to go in with them, I feel Oscar is being well taken care of. After having his teeth cleaned, etc., they followed up with me the next day to make sure he was OK. All staff, including doctors, receptionists, tech, etc., are very friendly and I never seem hurried. Thanks for taking such good care of Oscar!

I am unable to get my dog in as a new patient but they were kind enough to give me the medications he needs after the vet in N. Carolina sends up the hard copies. I am very grateful for this since he has a heart condition. Thankyou very much for your kindness.

Very accommodating! Excellent customer service. Friendly knowledgeable staff. Great at evaluating my dogs health while being sensitive to cost issues. Conscious of not testing "just to do tests" but recommending labs/procedures based on symptoms,age,etc...They were able to see my dog on an urgent basis & I will absolutely go back for routine care for all my pets!

I could not be more happy with their services. We were visiting in Tomah from Green Bay when our 13 week old puppy got sick and wouldn’t stop vomiting on a Saturday. No other clinic would even see us and without question they told me to bring him in. They took great care of him and got us on the mend to make our travels home the next day.

This is the MOST outstanding, friendly, caring vets office around. Emergency services are provided which is a HUGE plus, that's actually how we found them. They were the only vet in the area that would see our dog without being a prior client during the pandemic when he had flipped his stomach. Needless to say we LOVE the West Salem Vet Clinic!
