I’ve had the most horrible experience at this property. My fiancé was in town for work. The owner feels that they have the right to know what times of the day you’re working so they can inspect hood room. While I was asleep they kept knocking at my door. Upon telling them that I was asleep they proceeded to enter and spray disinfectant spray and I asked them to stop spraying my belongings. They proceeded to threaten me by calling the police because I said I didn’t need anything from them and asked for them to leave. I then received a call from The front desk asking me to leave. They will harass you and are racist.Rooms: Clean but everything is falling odd the walls and the paint is chippingFood & drinks: No food or drinks

This motel 6 did have nice clean and neat rooms not fancy but, did have fridges and microwaves no coffee pot tho. Sheets were clean and smelled fresh but the mattress was somewhat stiff and kind of hard to get comfortable on. My room could have used a little updating in the bathroom but the bathroom was very clean had plenty of towels and two soaps, no shampoo or conditioner. The only problem I had was children running and making noise in the hall, along with the noise of a couple of guys yelling at each other and the barking of two dogs of another customer, that was a little trying after a long hard trip. All in all the price was good and our stay ok once things calmed down.

Decent place for a decent price. If you walk into a hotel that only charges $50 per night, you need to have realistic expectations. The staff is friendly and helpful and the rooms are nicely sized and reasonably maintained. Everything seemed clean enough except one of the bed covers definitely needed to be washed. Don't expect to find any extra amenities (like an iron or toiletries or art on the walls). We didn't bother with the pool. It's very small with a max depth of three feet. But again, this is all realistic for the price. Our only real complaint was the beds. They truly are the hardest, most uncomfortable beds I've encountered in a hotel. I'd liken them to a sleeper sofa. And not the nice one at your rich aunt's house but the cheap one you would buy at goodwill for $30 when you were in college. If not for this, we would return.

Coming from an America’s Best Value Inn in Saint Cloud MN to this Motel 6 in Rothschild WI was like day and night. My previous hotel was completely filthy and dilapidated, this one was like a breath of fresh air. I was so pleased with how clean the room was. It has the basic necessities, nothing fancy. The man at the desk was personable and made an effort to be friendly and inviting. The only one thing that I didn’t like was the comfort of the mattress (a little springy and thin). But I was so happy with the cleanliness of the room, bathroom, floors, sheets, furniture, etc. Even the hallways were clean. If you are planning to stay here and are looking for a pool, be sure to call ahead of time to be sure because many places do not have a pool right now due to Covid.

In room 117 the rails and towel racks are not properly attached to the supports the dry walls need to be replaced because of it to many holes towel rack came down because of it . The sink facut not installed straight the bathtub to high not acceptable for people who have limited abilities of lifting The flooring not properly laid right to many bumps on floor not even. The bedding sheets holes in sheets need to have adequate clothes closet. Did not like when we left the room to get dinner on first night someone entered the room without our permission no need to do that . Our privacy policy was violated. Just before officially checking out at 9:30 am housekeeping knocked on our door for no reason we were debating and were going to stay a extra night but decided not to because of improper treatment and was going to write a letter to the company to inform them of the bad treatment but they will be able to see this in writing my hubby Frank Murieko and I Cynthia Kerr do need a explanation as to why they treaded us poorly the motel 6 has our home address .

I spent three nights with Motel 6. The price I got was fantastic, they let me check in two hours early, and the staff was very friendly, the carpet in the hallways was very clean for the amount of traffic it probably gets. The first room that I was in was not cleaned well at all. There were dirty sheets on the bed, the floors weren't clean, the shower hadn't been cleaned because there was a black moldy soap scum ring and hair in the shower. My heat didn't work so they moved me to a different room, which was cleaned like it should be. The next morning, house keeping was knocking on my door at 7:45am, which is unacceptable to me. I left my room for the day a couple hours later, and when I returned at 5:30pm, I discovered that they had never returned to my room. My bed was unmade, my garbages were overflowing, and I didn't have fresh towels. The beds were the worst thing I have ever slept on. When checking out, I went to the front desk to turn in my keys and get a receipt. They asked me what I needed, and I had to tell them to give me a receipt. Normally hotels automatically print you one.

We feel it was a very nice overnight stay for the money! We love the hard floors, we have more confidence of the cleanliness of the room. PLUS, we could see they were still slightly wet from the earlier cleaning. Nice, barebones, clean place to stay.We are keeping this secret to ourselves - don't tell anyone!

You could tell they were remodeling, which shows they are doing their best to keep it looking great. The rooms all got a make over as well since we were there a year ago. No carpet, which is weird, but cleaner. For what we paid, ($40) It was great! not one of those, you get what you pay for things! Very pleased!

I picked Motel 6 because it was close to the dog show site I was attending. However, it offered a swimming pool and spa so I brought along my granddaughter for some fun. The weather was supposed to be nice as well, but the pool is an indoor pool. When we got there the pool had been closed indefinitely by local offices, like the health dept. Hot tub as well. We decided to stay anyway as we were in our room by the time we realized it. Then the air conditioner didn't work very well and we asked for a fan which the motel doesn't offer so it was less than comfortable in the room. The bed frames are made so that the mattresses actually slide back and forth on them which caused me pain as I am disabled. Overall it was a most disappointing experience as I have stayed in many Motel 6's and have been quite happy. This, however, was not one of those times. Very, very disappointed.

My wife and I reserved a Single king room with jacuzzi for a 2 night stay. Upon arrival for check in, it seemed pretty slow. We get to the front desk and there's no attendant rather a phone to call the attendant for assistance. After 15 rings, she shows up finally. We are informed there is no housekeeping for the next couple days per lack of employees. We arrive at the room and there's 2 queen beds, but no jacuzzi. We politely inform the woman that we ordered a king room and we are moved to the correct room. Later that afternoon, i go to check out the jacuzzi and it doesnt work, the trim paneling is peeling off, the refrigerator is hot and the compressor felt like it was gonna explode, the AC/heater have a gap from the wall allowing cold air to plague the room. At this point, we are no longer happy and decide it is best to leave and request a refund. My wife goes to the front to inform the next attendant about our discrepancies and he laughed at her, said after 2 hours we're there that is when we finally decide we're not content and so we wont get refund. Now this is after another guest asked about his room, he reserved a king as well but the attendant said all king rooma were dirty. We were moved to a dirty room from the first double queen! I decide to get involved and demand a refund for deplorable conditions in this hotel and false advertisement of a king room. The attendant is arguing with me about the ad i saw with the jacuzzi. Tells me the room we were moved to was not dirty and the jacuzzi never worked before. I was extremely disappointed and my wife was disrespected beyond measure. This was by far the most horrible experience in any hotel I have ever had. The county jail is more inviting and respectful than this hotel site. Never will i ever consider motel 6 in the future due to this poor display of hospitality.

I normally stay at either a Marriott or Hilton hotel when I travel. I travel a lot for work and their reward points makes it inviting to stay with those hotel chains. On this particular trip, Motel 6 made the most sense in terms of location and price. I haven't stayed at a Motel 6 in years, and the very low room rate was both inviting yet had me nervous. I was thoroughly impressed with my room and the service. The price couldn't have been better and the hotel was VERY clean. My room had a small refrigerator and laminate flooring which I prefer over carpet. The pillows and towels were not the same level as the Marriott or Hilton, but clean and inexpensive goes a long way in my book. Thanks for the opportunity to change my perception about Motel 6. I will definitely consider this chain again when traveling and hope the next one is as good as this experience in Rothschild, WI

Staff was very friendly, had to use the phone at the service desk to get service but most of time they were there to help in a matter of a couple of minutes. They explained the construction they were doing, room was very clean. Did not like the adjoining but they did not rent out the one next to us so it was okay, kids enjoyed the pool, but hot tub was down for repairs. Overall pleasant! One light switch didn't do anything but not a big deal.

A young couple runs this hotel. They are doing a outstanding job. They are kind, helpful and hardworking. It's clean and well kept. I only kept back one star for no coffee maker in the room and the lobby coffee could be better. I would stay here again or put family and friends up here. Even though there is no breakfast, DENNY'S is practically next door. Great job you guys.

This is a great place to stay and the rooms are very clean. I had a jacuzzi room and enjoyed it very much! The breakfast in the morning was also nice. The staff is very friendly and the hotel was clean. I would stay again.

Two of the lights in the room didn't work, found stains on the top sheet so it is a good thing that we brought our own sheets and blankets. There is light switches that don't do anything. Beds are nice and hard, also the pillows are kind of bricks and too big. You don't get shampoo or conditioner so bring your own, the shower is full of soap scum. Bring your own towels too because those also have stains on them.The only good thing about this motel is the price.

I'd never stay there again! But the desk woman was great so gave then a 1.5 bonus for her good work. Non smoking room with cigarette burns in bed clothes of both beds. Mini Fridge was unplugged and useless for hours. We stayed there from about 1:30 am to 9:30 am so we just kept our stuff in the cooler. And room would have been the same 90°F if not for early check in and turning the A/C on high for our return. Crazy!

The entire place was being remodeled, hot tub was out of commission, tape and plastic wrap on everything, the place didn't look open when we pulled up, nobody at the front desk when trying to check in, had to wait 10 minuted before someone showed up. The room was mostly new, but not very well done, lots of nail holes still in the walls, no iron or blow dryer in the room. Not a great experience.

The people are nice don't get me wrong! The horrible cat pee smell in the hallway to the upstairs and upstairs was overbearing. To see reviews that the hot tub has not been working 2 months ago and STILL isnt really is very disappointing! Come on business owners. Let's get on that. Also no Kleenex. Light switches that don't do anything. No shampoo or conditioner. Tiny basic stuff. But the smell is what has really done me in. Plus all the over powdering cleaning/coverup stuff in the rooms.... might want to get on top of these things or you might not have people staying. I gave 2 stars only due to the people working are super nice!

Well it was not a bad place but I was anticipating people partying and drinking in the hallways from what I read on prev previous reviews but to my dismay all I seen was people being quiet and respectful of others motel goes. Everything was acceptable but I had fully intended on making new friend or possibly life long connections. I will definitely try again at some point

The pool was closed per the health department. The staff were very nice. The bathroom was dirty with a cup from a previous client still on the floor. The furniture was neat but, attached to walls with large holes in the plaster that were painted over. Bathroom cloth wallpaper was painted, as a result the paint was flaking off and appeared difficult to clean properly.

Would never recommend to anyone. My room was awful; every surface was dusty, the floor and table were gross, the beds were uncomfortable, the pillows were flat, the blankets were thin, the mini fridge didn't even get cold even though it was plugged in. The hot tub and vending machine were both broke. Very disappointed with everything.

Room was so disgusting. Had mold in our fridge, tub looked like it hadn't been cleaned in months. Someone tried to remodel the room but I think a teenager could do a better job. And to top it all off the entire pool area was shut down by the health department due to mold everywhere! Spend the extra money and stay across the road at the holiday inn.

Hotel was dingy and appeared horrible from the outside. Upon check-in, was informed that pool was closed even though that wasn't communicated thru the 3rd party booking site. Was also informed that hotel was under renovation and to excuse the mess. Only recent renovations I could see was some drywall installed in 2 of the hallways. Room keys didn't work in the door and was an ongoing issue for my whole stay. Hotel seemed to be more of a long-term rental than a short-term stay kind of place. Wasn't sure my vehicle was safe in the lot. Toilet wouldn't flush unless you stood there holding the handle down for 30 seconds. In room refrigerator was tiny and say on the floor, making it hard to use. Paint was peeling off the walls in bathroom. This franchise should be pulled from the owner. Will never stay in a Motel 6 again.

Staff was friendly but the room needed more work done to it than what had been done. I realize they are in the midst of remodeling so maybe more will be done in the rooms. What has been done was not very professional......poor paint job (spills and just plain messy painting) , base tile in the bath needed to be re-grouted and the drain in the sink needed the pipe joints tightened to stop the leaks ( I tightened the joints and stopped the leaks myself). The rubber bath mat in the tub was moldy. The coat hooks are placed too high on the wall.....a 5 ft-2" person can not reach them without jumping.

Rooms are pretty nice. But the walls are thin. Our second night there, people decide to party left to right and it was super loud. We couldn't sleep, I think some girls cried too and we could hear them. I believe we reported to the front desk but those people were still loud.
