We live in Georgia and are visiting Wisconsin for the second time. This trip something unexpected happened. The alternator on our car went out as we were traveling back to the cabin after an evening of seeing Christmas lights. It was dark outside and it had just started to snow. After a one or two phone calls Brauner's Garage was recommended to us as the quickest towing company. He was there in no time! Thank you Brauner's Garage! You took a scary and somewhat stressful situation and made it so much better. We truly are thankful for the Lord sending you our way!

We are visiting Wisconsin for the second time. We broke down on the highway travelling to Neillsville. We didn't really know how to give our exact location but Brauner's Garage was able to track us down and give us and our car a lift to a wonderful repair shop. Within 15-20 minutes, he had located us and got our SUV onto his truck. A somewhat scary and situation was made a lot less stressful! They are a true God-send.

My wife and I were headed to northern Illinois from Minneapolis Christmas Day when our Mazda CX-5 stalled 10 miles north of Black River Falls. Unfamiliar with the area, we called the first towing service we could fine online — Brauner’s Garage. Here’s what I’ll say about the owner — he was generally unlikable but reliable enough. To be fair, we pulled him from his Christmas festivities, which he didn’t hold back from letting us know. He was curt on the phone and equally unfriendly and uncommunicable in person; I developed a growing sense that I could not trust him. Nothing ever came of those feelings, however, and he did deliver our vehicle to a local dealership and my wife and me to the local Kwik Trip to wait for a ride. Total charge was $250 flat rate plus tax. Objectively, I have no good reason to recommend NOT using Brauner’s, though personally he wouldn’t be my first choice for assistance in the future.Service: Car towing

Brauner's went above and beyond for my daughter and I after a deer hit we recently had where our vehicle was completely totaled. Not only were they quick to get there and get us to their shop (especially on a cold night), but also very friendly, kind, and considerate. My daughter had an allergic reaction to the powder from the airbags deploying and Pat was on top of everything, assisting us in any way possible with that, and his wife stayed with us to make sure we were safe until our ride could get there from an hour away. I would highly recommend and am very thankful they took care of us that evening.Service: Car towing

We had a punctured tire and AAA couldn’t send anyone for several hours, we called Brauner’s and they came much sooner. The tow truck driver helped us get our spare on, but all the local stores were closed on a Sunday evening, so he brought us back to his garage to see if he could dig up a tire that would fit. In the end, he was able to patch our tire, and we were back on the road. Super helpful, kind and a very sweet dog to keep us company while we waited!Service: Tires

We had an accident with another vehicle on Christmas Eve. Pat took me to the hotel where my family was then rescued our vehicle (severe damage)and returned to the hotel and took us so we could retrieve our belongings including Christmas presents. Small town Family owned and operated business yet large enough to accommodate prompt quality family type honest trust worthy service. My experience was you can't go wrong here. I was an out of towner but it felt he was helping his best friend. Very people oriented. Over priced. They towed my car off the interstate and tried charging me over $500 to replace my fuel pump. They told me the recomended pump was $370 with the filter. I ordered the same exact pump,filter and sending unit for $180. I was 200 miles from home and they knew it. I told them I would haul my car home and fix it myself. They told me I had until the end of the day to take my car or they were going to start charging me storage. I was a long way from home and already paid the ridiculous price of towing these days and they wouldn't even give me 24 hours to get my car out of there. For the most part They were nice people and appreciate the fast response on the towing. I also understand they have a business to run but they obviously don't understand what it's like to be stranded away from home with few options. Lucky for me I had a friend available to bring me my truck and trailer that day so I didn't have to pay their storage fee or overpriced parts.

I speak from my personal experience awhile back it was a rainy and nasty night out I was on my way to work at 11:30 pm. I was traveling on the Interstate when I hit a massive pothole and blew my tire. They came out right away towed my Jeep and even dropped me off at work! Came by after work and they ordered me a matching tire and installed it so with Towing, New tire, and installation they charged me the very fair price of just over $330.00. Awesome work guys can't thank you enough!

If I could rate this company a zero I would. So I called this morning to ask a question. I was speaking with the manager. I wish it would have been a regular employee maybe it would have made this experience a little more bearable. But it was a MANAGER. I have got many car repaired for many years at many places and have had excellent experiences. My brother is even a manager at a car place out of the area. Anyway, I was calling to ask if I could bring a KID to hear about the Brauner's Garage. I wanted him to hear about what they all do at the Garage and what they look for in employees. I mentor kids that have low income and I want to get them interested in areas to work after high school. I have had great experiences thus far in the community, however this was a terrible experience. This kids lives in the area and would have to loved to work at a place like this in a year. I called and the MANAGER picked up the phone. I said my name and where I work and before I could even say what I was calling for he said, "I told you guys not to call." I asked what he was talking about as I have never called before (also my company is not even in the area) he repeated himself in an authoritative tone. My company has a religious name in the title (we don't do religious things and I am personally not religious). This did not stop him from discriminating against me and something he knows nothing about. I would have been fine had he just said "No we don't show people around with what we do." But this MANAGER had to go out of his way to make me feel extremely uncomfortable. I can only imagine how he treats people he does not care for. This would never be a place I would want to take my car.

My sister had a problem with her truck over Memorial weekend. She was traveling to Florida and had to be there by the first of June they towed her truck and uhaul to their place of business and thought it would be done tues. But they worked on it Over the weekend (weather put a hindrance to their weekend plans so they were thoughtful to get it done early) She was back on the road before noon on Tues. They were totally awesome !..they explained all in detail what they did to her truck. Very accommodating and do great workI highly recommend this business to all. I used this towing service last week and they were very helpful and courteous of the situation. They towed a car back to Eau Claire from Black River that was undrivable due to a minor accident. First off super rude!! Called because my keys were locked in my car, was told it would take them 20 minutes to (get) there, walked from my house to where my car was at (within) that 20 min time frame , called them and they said to call somewhere else because they sat there for 20 min. I had to beg them to come back because I had walked, and still when he got there he was the rudest person can’t believe you would treat costumers like that !Service: Car lockouts

I was 500 miles from home and my wiper fluid line broke and the latch to my hood wouldn't close. The man who I called (5 minutes before closing) told me that he would stay open and take a look at it for me. So I drove over and he stayed open 20 minutes longer than he had to for me and fixed my car. I asked him what I owed him and he said $20. He could have gone home and told me to wait until tomorrow, but for only $20 this man stayed out with me in the cold while a storm was rolling in to fix my car so that I could complete my journey. I am very grateful for what he did and I recommend everyone go to Brauner's Garage for any auto service they might need.
