My bf travels for work, and chooses hotels whose main (and usually only) feature is that they are economical. I tag along a lot; I've never felt the need to review one. I'm charmed at how pleasant and friendly everyone working here is-like really, really pleasant-but this comment is because it's clean. Like CLEAN clean. Our room was perfectly clean, and the pool was perfectly clean. AND THE PERFECTLY CLEAN POOL WAS WARM. That never happens! Very happy. Also, the beds and pillows are very comfortable, the rooms are big, and the continental breakfast has lots of good stuff.

The Quality Inn, already not my favorite hotel system due to bad quality in the past, lived up to my expectations with the lower cost I paidl. The rooms were dirty, stains on sheets and blankets, we didn't get the king-sized room we booked bit a set of Queens. Service was non-exsistance, the entire place needs to be updated from the early 90s, wear and tear obvious everywhere you look. The normal amenities of a hotel were there, fridge, microwave, heating/cooling, decent bathroom, a good enough breakfast, but there is no elevator. The dead bolt had broken off the door. There was a wifi, not that i was given a password for it. With red granite being as small as this is, I'm not shocked at the lack of upkeep. I would argue that the pool/hot tub being open until 11 is the highlight of the visit for everyone else, keep looking, keep moving, and avoid this location.

The new (ish) owners of this hotel are absolutely fantastic. They are great people, with great attitudes, and always smile. We got there a bit early for check in because my boys love swimming in their pool. I did not expect a room to be ready on Memorial Day weekend, but we were accommodated as soon as we got there. We were able to bring all of our stuff up to the room, change, and then go swimming. The flexibility they had with us was truly amazing.The rooms are very clean. The hotel is generally never super busy, so it is always more on the quiet side of things. Their beds and pillows are extremely comfortable.They do serve some breakfast down in the lobby each morning as well and that area is also very well kept.We have another up north Wautoma trip planned for a weekend in July and we will again be staying here, as usual. At this point, we wouldnt want to stay anywhere else in the Wautoma/Red Granite area.Thanks to the owners and staff at this location. You are great people who keep your hotel looking great! We appreciate everything you do for your guest and we will be back soon!

I had been considering several hotels in different cities, and what sold me on the Quality Inn - Redgranite was PK, whom I believe is the owner. In a word, he is awesome! He is super helpful, friendly, has a truly "no worries can do attitude", and is always smiling. When I called to get more information, I could tell he was smiling on the phone! His total customer service demeanor was what convinced me, so I called back right away and made our reservation. When I arrived to check in, I was immediately impressed by the hotel's appearance -- curb appeal (it's so convenient, right off Highway 21) -- has well-maintained grounds and it is absolutely spotless, inside and out. Our room was super clean, well-appointed, and the bed was probably the most comfortable hotel bed I have ever slept in. The pool was very nice and warm, and the free breakfast was very good, offering a wide selection of items. The staff we met were very friendly and professional, as well. At one point soon after check-in, I happened to be walking out the front door at the same time as a vehicle pulled up and its occupants got out. I decided to hold the door for them, since I try to do kind things when I can, and it turned out to be PK himself, and of course he was smiling! This is an excellent hotel, super clean, well run, a great deal for the money, and it was a joy to stay there. Need I say more? I definitely would go back.

What a great small-town hotel! We stayed there last weekend and had an excellent experience. Mandy was so service oriented and very friendly. She went out of her way to be helpful and welcoming. PK is a joy to talk with - always smiling. The new owners purchased the hotel in June and did a makeover. There is new flooring in all of the rooms. The hot tub was not working, but the pool was like a bathtub! I have nothing but good things to say about this place!

We got a room with a hot tub and was that amazing! My wife and I last stayed here about five years ago, and it is obvious that many improvements have been made since then. The new decor is fresh and welcoming as you come in the front door. Housekeeping does a very good job of keeping the interior and parking area very clean and neat. Our room was very clean, and the king bed was comfortable and fresh. The TV was excellent with a great picture and sound with good selections on their cable. The staff was also very friendly and helpful and helped me with a specific request I had. We did not use the pool, but we took notice of it, and the area was very clean and orderly. We were very pleased with our stay.

We stayed there in May 2022. There were some odd things happening. The hot tub was coldish. The pool was satisfactory. Coffee was excellent. This is a nonsmoking establishment, as are all hotels these days. I could smell cigars in the hall.WORST PART: There was something in my bed, between the sheets, which looked like a giant yellow booger. We did not tell staff. We cleaned it up. I sure hope that they are changing their sheets. I think that they need more housekeepers. This was our second stay. I do not plan to return. It used to be very clean.

The desk service was good, the lady was very friendly and knowledgeable. The rooms could have been cleaner. They weren't horribly bad, however, they may want to take a little more time when cleaning the rooms and just simply take a second glance at things before they go to the next room. The outside grounds have a lot of cigarette butts on the ground that need to be picked up.

I've stayed at quite a few hotels in the area, as I have family there. This was the first one that I was completely satisfied by. The room was clean, the bed and pillows comfy. The staff was very friendly and helpful.If I could find one thing to be picky about? The OJ tasted a little watered down but that's if I had to find something. The stay there was great and I will definitely be back again.

We had prices set at $70 per night for a wedding. I had to get 3 rooms. Not knowing how long we were stay and the rooms were to be saved for July 27 through July 30. We had to book before July 15 to get the price.So I booked 2 rooms for the 27,28 and 29. Then booked another room for the 27 and 28. We all ended up leaving do to unforeseen circumstances on the 28. We checked out before checkout time which was 11am.Bill came to $715.05. Called them about it and the only thing they would tell me is I checked out 1 day early so the rooms were not cleaned in order to be used by others. They never cleaned the rooms when we were there and they only clean them after you leave. The pool stunk of sour water and the hot tub was no hot. So didn’t try them. I myself will never stay at another Econo lodge ever due to my experience at this one. Now they are apparently applying 3 more charges on my card of $79.45 had to freeze it. They are very incompetent.

Extremely nice owner, very helpful. For the price it's hard to beat. I stay in over 20 hotels per month due to my job so I've seen the whole spectrum of what's out there. Very clean and as I stated before, excellent value. I don't know the owner's name so I just call him "my friend".

our room was nice and clean. We had a king bed and it was okay. Breakfast selection was best I've seen at any hotel since covid started. Staff who greeted us was very pleasant. Our second stay at this location--- we don't go back if it's not good, lol.

We had such a great experience at Econo Lodge!! Super quiet and relaxing. Awesome breakfast in the morning, and its free! We had a hot tub in the room and it was just amazing. The staff was more than helpful and kind. We will definitely be back again!

I paid for my room up front online and then went to them and they charged me again even after I showed them my confirmation they made excuses upon excuses up I had to call a place in which I ordered my room beforehand and they had fix everything wonderfully I would not recommend paying online if you were going to stay there just pay when you get there the rooms were okay but the pool area had wires sticking out and everything it was very bad. Also the hot tub was full of soap for my peoples hair and whatnot which means it has been cleaned out properly in a while

Absolutely the worst place e ever! Staff was very rude and unfitting for their job. Arrived at the hotel and tried to let the kids go swimming and they said no due to not being old enough without a adult. Understandable. My wife and I left for a few moments to go to the grocery store to pick up my teenage kids some snacks and when we returned the local police were called for leaving my teenage kids their without us. Then we were forced to leave in the late evening hours after driving 4 hours through a snow storm! Unfortunately the lowest rating we could give is a 1 star. We would never recommend this place to anyone as again their staff was very unprofessional! We own hotels and have never witnessed anything of the nature!

This is a very clean lodging. Rooms are clear and newly remodeled. Pool looks great and is warm. Hot tub is nice and hot. New pool table in the pool area. Paint is new, floor is clean and new looking. Front desk area is very welcoming. The breakfast is simple but filling. I recommend staying here.

The new floors and the pool is nice. Other than that the bathtub was cracked, the toilet wouldn't flush, the staff didn't seem to know what was what when checking in, the room was drafty, the heating lamp in the bathroom didn't work, and the continental breakfast was chintzy. When we told them of the issues there no comment. Plus when I asked about an upgrade to a suite the 'manager (whose shirt was on inside out) had no idea what I was talking about when I mentioned a while (language issue) and I said 20 or $30 more and wasn't sure whether it was 20 or 30 so I wasn't sure if they just charged as the people checked in or what. It was very confusing.

Better than i expected for such a small town, nice lobby, clean rooms, indoor pool and hot tub. Room cards didnt work the second day, which was annoying. Breakfast was disappointing, no hot items, and even cereal was not set out on second morning. Attentive staff though, they called me less than 10 minutes after I checked out to let me about the laptop charger I had forgotten in the room, which was much appreciated.
