Our experience is Rebates issued!! It’s should make customers feel better to make a rebate more efficient online rebate claims!!! Mailing in rebate it’s not work !! We are still not receiving some of them !! Trying to find customers service phone number is not on the website!! Only contact by email or send message!! False advertising!! Got ripped off

I like shopping at Menards. It's like a big box hardware store with extra departments and extra selections that you might not find at store like Lowe's or home Depot... You can even find snacks and pet food. There's a nice lumber yard and outdoor garden area.

Home improvement supply store. Ample parking available. This place is huge. Often it is difficult to find a specific item, especially if it is an advertised sale item so be prepared to ask an associate for help. Look at their ad and website to get an idea of items they carry.If you deem this review helpful please give it a like. Thank you.

Did a pickup at the Platteville Menards. The associate, Hunter, was friendly and helpful. He double checked my order and guided me where to pick up lumber. Nice, well organized and labeled items are easy to find in lumber building. Although I did need to go into the store to get my PVC pipe. (It was not outside by the other pipes)

I want to give a huge shout out to your employee Mason, who assisted me in placing a special order for a door, and also in helping me find a couple other things.He was patient, kind, and so helpful.He answered every one of my questions, and never once made me feel like I was taking up too much of his time.When we were finished, he said "I hope you have a good rest of your day."What a doll.I know working for the public can be a very HARD job at times. Most staff in evening didn't seem to know the building materials well enough to help us find things quickly. The young men moving the boards we needed were quite helpful in choosing good.boards and loading them.

I left my purse in the store and was so very thankful that the employees put it in the safe for me! I arrived at the store at 4:59 today and the doors were locked due to it closing at 5:00. Totally understand that! However a young female employee with long brown hair was sweeping a few feet from me and refused to even open the door to see what was wrong. Instead she laughed at me! I couldn’t believe she stood there and laughed! I hate to imagine what she would have done had I been in an accident and needed help!What a pity that businesses have to hire idiots like this.

Very upset with the current condition this world is in. They had the audacity to call my order "special" and I find the derogatory use of this word very inappropriate. Service was great and my new door looks great on my trailer...three stars.

People there were very helpful in finding the products that I needed and even though it took a little bit for somebody to be able to help me out the lumberyard once they were there they were very helpful in making sure that the product I received were a good quality and fitting of the standard for the work I was doing. When getting back to my project I realize that I was short a piece I gave him a call and they immediately got it taken care of it and set up for me to come and get what I needed or offer to reimburse me for the product that was not picked up if I did not need it

WOW-Non-helpful, people in ALL the wood areas! Glad, we know what we are looking for!Yet the cashies DO NOT! OVER-CHARGING! THIS WILL, HAPPEN AGAIN! WANT BE BACK!!Talk about, not using (if you even went to school) all that you supposbility learned? Simple- produce with respect!Take note- How, GROSS & DISCUSSING!Your, bathrooms are horrible! Nasty filthy--NO EXCUSES PERIOD!SEE MANY, EMPLOYEES STANDING AROUND/YACKING/ playing, with their phones/NOT DOING, MUCH OF NOTHING!NO HELP! LOST, SOME multiple -of many years CUSTOMERS ---->FRIENDS, EVEN SAID THANK YOU for letting them know. They, even agreed going to DBQ- as well.DBQ- HAS, PERFECT HELP SERVICES! Many, options to choose from!Management -What, a smart (A&& attitude) (non-care)-bad for business -passing on! This is, not a laughing type of thing! Joe in the bathroom section is awesome! Super helpful and the gentlemen with his name tag flipped over who got the vanities off the shelf was awesome too! I asked if he saw any scratches or dents and he did a thorough job of checking for me and I greatly appreciate it! Not so many nice things to say about our cashier who refused to listen to me say these are “rays list” and just scanned 1 of 3 bar codes on the box and continue to tell me my total $1000 after i again said hang on these are rays list. Thanks for making my check out a process Debbie.

Absolutely horrible experience with this store costing me hundreds of dollars, and hours of time. !!Be extremely cautious when working with this store!! Ordered siding from this store as they had limited quantities of it, and one of the only stores in the state that had the color to match my house. I paid for this siding, over the phone and they mailed me the receipt, and said come pick it up when you are able. My contractor went to go pick it up and they cannot find my order anywhere and said they must have given it to someone else. They wouldn't ship it, wouldn't have it sent to another store, would basically do nothing to assist in fixing the situation. The result of this mixup?...I had to rent a truck myself, make the 2 hour drive down to Sycamore, IL, the next closest store with this siding. The cost at this store was double what my price in Platteville was. So all said and done, their mix up cost me over $500 and 5 hours of my time. Very unhappy about every aspect of this transaction.

Nice department but mailing rebate system was horrible!! I mailed two times a year ago haven’t see any rebates yet !! Why don’t do discount like other stores? Or making online system that customers be able to do !:Sytem need to update to this generation::

This is the place to get stuff to fix the house. Or if you prefer a fine purveyor of building materials, the price tends to be very competitive, the quality is adequate and the help usually has a clue. If asked they can usually explain the differences between products at different prices and will try to upsell but not too hard. If you know what you want, and the proper terminology for it you can get it and go quickly, but they are used to taking the time, to help translate terminology and help you find what you want. There is a huge inventory and much more that can be specially ordered there are professionals here regularly as well as people without a clue, but with a problem they try to help them all.

I showed up 5 minutes to closing to get river rock for a large fish tank set up. I had my 8 month old baby plus my 2 other kids. The staff were very quick in helping me find the river rock and loaded it on a cart, they took to the register and then loaded it in my car. Not one of the staff ever had any issue with the fact that I walked in right before they were set to close. Amazing crew!!!! EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!

I bought a lawnmower trusting that I was getting trusted service. I have had the lawnmower for to weeks and on the second time starting it oil shot out the carberator. I called the warranty service that I bought and was informed that I have to drive 1 hour from my house to get this fixed. I called the store and they told me that they can do nothing for me. No one told me that the warranty was no good at the store. So so far If I don't drive 1 hour away I will lose the cost of the purchuse and warranty and now the cost of gas. For a total of 625.00. I can't believe that Menards did this to me or did not go through the warranty with me. They just took my money and said good luck. What service for a trusted place. So beware of what you buy and ask questions about the warranty. To me it just a way to get more money from you and get nothing in return. Just a lawnmower that doesn't work.

Employees were rude. Aisles were cluttered. I'm disabled. I asked for help from 3 employees (they were standing together gossiping) 3x to get big bag dog food in my cart. 1 finally glared at me but helped me. When I limped away, they were laughing at me.

While I really like Menards, ordering online is awful. The package arrived in a box with no lid and had a cut up USPS Priority box taped over the top. This was a horribly packed shipment, although it clearly states on my invoice "packaged with care by Ryan". The one and only thing that is positive, the items were not damaged.

This particular menards has the worst customer service that I have ever experienced. I placed an order on October 21st and was told it would arrive November 5th. It’s November 11th… and after calling them several times, it seems like nobody placed the order or has any idea what’s going on. They blocked my number so I stop calling them and I know this because the call goes through when I call from another number.Would give it 0 stars if I could.

Menards took $1,922.44 in online payments from my family, delivered no merchandise, promised a refund, and then, due to their mistake, now refuse to refund $1,922.44, and they are keeping our $1,922.44. When my wife and I called the Platteville store to discuss this serious financial crisis, the gentlemen we spoke with snickered, laughed, mocked us, and made rude comments. At this time, the matter has still not been resolved, and Menards has given us no indication that they will refund our money, even though we never saw, touched, or took possession, of any merchandise from them. During my telephone conversations with Caleb and Ryan Holup, they were both very condescending, rude, and flippant, as if they did not care at all about our plight. They were very rude and they acted like they thought it was funny that I was upset. For example, at one point I told one of them that my family cannot afford to lose $1,922.44, and that there is nothing at Menards that we can use, and that we need every penny of our money to pay our mortgage and buy food for our family. The person I was talking to, either Caleb or Ryan, then told me, "Don't worry, we sell food, too. You can use your in-store credit for food." You could hear laughter and snickering in his voice when he said it. I have never been treated so rudely in a retail situation in my life. My family and I are pursuing legal action against Menards.
