We had a grooming appointment scheduled and the groomer called in sick. It was so important to Angie (other groomer) that we had our dog groomed today as planned and she made it work. We got our dog groomed AND she did a magnificent job as well. Thanks Angie! I also noticed the manager in there sweeping floors and helping out. Thanks to the Petsmart in Pewaukee team!

They have something for just about every pet imaginable, well at least the usual suspects. Dogs, cats, small and furry pets, birds, fish, turtles. They have everything you can imagine and then some! A lot of times they have good deals as well!

I bought my two gerbils here. The workers here were very passionate about their work with pets. I remember them asking me what I was going to name them. If you are looking for a small pet, I strongly recommend this place. :) Also, the environment here is pretty normal.

Extremely rude groomer at this location. We have gone to the Brookfield location many times without issue. Made and bath and brush appt here and the groomer made a offhanded comment went back got the bather to inspect her. The bather was going to take her back. The groomer stopped her and searched the dog for the smallest mats and then said we needed a full groom and the dog would have to be shaved.

I bought a scorpion from them recently and I am impressed by how well it was taken care of, but the reptile attendant had an unpleasant attitude and acted as if she knew it all. I did let her know I am an advanced scorpion handler and avid enthusiast and I still felt as if she was trying to tell me my knowledge and experience was wrong. Also I am aware you have to be 18 to purchase an animal, I am 25 and her tone was very snobby and snippy when she asked for my ID.

I went to PetSmart for fish. They don't have a great selection, but their tanks seem well cared for and the fish appeared healthy. They have a good selection of aquarium accessories.One thing to watch. Most items in the store are also on their website for a cheaper price. If you show them the item online, they will give you the cheaper price in the store.

I have been using the grooming service for my darling bichon (sadly Casper passed away early October 2022) with Pet Smart Pewaukee since the Manager was Nick. He is the best one. Ever since he moved to Brookfield the service was not great anymore. They kept changing Manager. The girls not as good. I can never forget ie 1 month before Casper passed I book a month’s ahead to groom him. But they cancelled the appointment..because they do not have enough groomer. They should have called earlier as I am a working, my schedule is not that flexible. The girl never felt sorry and sounded like it was my fault. They are so unprofessional in my opinion. I was really disappointed.. the appointment was booked a month ahead. And last minute they cancelled. Especially I was a long standing customer and always generous in tipping them even after Nick left. Now I have my new puppy they refused me to have puppy bath today because they can’t accept the fact that I was very angry last time. Honestly speaking they are the one who should apologize, I am on the disadvantage side. Ohh so many groomer around the neighborhood you are not the only one. Good bye Pet Smart.

The employees are somewhat unfriendly. They have weird rules about touching their cats.Otherwise I almost always find what I need there and the store is kept clean. They have a grooming service too but I don't use that.

We have our cat's nails trimmed by the pet groomer. She does an excellent job. She is careful and loving to Abby. We have managed to be scheduled either the same day or next day when calling.

They have a great selection of small animal enclosures and decor. Like most places, they have been struggling with supply chain issues, which means a lot of out-of-stocks. The pet enclosures are far too small since they are just temporary, but they are kept cleaner than Petco. Employees are somewhat helpful, but it would be better to do your research online.

The first time I took my pup in for a full groom a few months ago, they did a pretty good job. I didn't love the cut, but it wasn't the worst. I took my pup in again for a groom recently and this time it wasn't the greatest. My pup had some dry blood on his paw and had some noticeable bald spots on his chest and by both armpits. I'm not sure what happened to his paw and I'm disappointed with the results. I thought I found the right spot for my little guy, but I will not be going to PetSmart for grooming services anymore.

I brought my German Shepherd there to get a bath and nail trimming. He was there for over 2 hours and I got called into work. I had to pick him up before they finished drying or even brushing him. Understandably it's not their fault I got called into work but I still had to pay $100 for my dog to just have a bath. There should have been a discount or even him being finished for being there that long.

Helpful employees. Only problem is I bought some canned food for my sick pup thinking it was made in USA only to read in small print made with ingredients from Thailand. This is Petco's name brand Authority. Read the labels carefully!

It's a cute and clean store, friendly staff, never super busy, but if you are shopping for live food - please read this. We have went here for the small sized crickets for our tree frog and they do not last long at all. All 30 we get are dead within about 5 days and we have everything we need for them to keep them alive for much longer. They are put in a glass aquarium that is in our house...not in the garage where temperatures vary so much. The tank has plenty of ventilation at the top, they have things to munch on such as cut up potatoes, we even put the "Flukers orange cubes in (complete cricket diet including food, vitamins, and water)", they have plenty of things to hide under, their environment is completely appropriate. I thought it was just a bad batch the first time but it happened a second time as well. I went a third time just because the location is close to my house and convenient, same thing. We won't be back for crickets but maybe other things.

Recently got 2 young leopard geckos from this location, They were free because of cosmetic imperfections, both healthy and good eaters, just looks like the smaller one had a bad shed and sight issues. My only concern was that there wasn't any sort of adoption fee, situations like that may lead people to impulse adopt a free pet that they are unable to properly care for. (Lady who helped me was very friendly and checked to make sure I knew what I was doing though, which is great! Not all employees will question you to make sure you know how to care for the animal!)

Great customer service! We had a lot of questions re our dog n they patiently n knowledgeable. They helped us fix the harness we had so we didn't have to buy a new one, which we had planned to do. But we certainly will be back!
