We stop in to eat everytime we are passing through town. The food is good. Friendly staff. They have a counter you can eat at. If you order breakfast make sure to get toast. The jelly is homemade and it is one of the best I have ever had.

Brought my fiance here she's never been here before. Very understandable with the needs of my fiance due to her having dental work done and not being able to chew things yet the cook chopped her food up into smaller pieces and she was able to eat it so they were very nice and filled my coffee quick and easy also food was hot and very delicious.

Sat down and every one in the restaurant had food ordered 3 eggs scrambled sausage links crispy bacon and my wife ordered a veggie omelet with no mushrooms and corn beef hash. As soon as our order went to the kitchen we could hear the cook complaining about something mind you I believe she is the owner. Several minutes later 2 regulars came in ordered food then another regular came in ordered food. As we are waiting for our food the regulars got their food first. Shouldn't you cater to people who don't come in all the time or do you not want their business? I'm done with this place food is mediocre at best. The server's have always been great. Needless to say we walked out.

The food is great and the server was awesome even with a full restaurant the food was served in a timely manner and never had to ask for coffee she was there with everything right away.Features: A delightful home town Cafe with no mask required!

Awesome, home-cooked lunch and dessert. Generous portions, perfectly cooked. Small place and obviously popular with locals! We had hot beef sandwich with mashed potatoes & gravy, codfish and veggies, and chicken & dumpling soup. Yummy pumpkin bar for dessert. All were delicious!Wheelchair accessibility: All one level but would be very tight to get a wheelchair into the space. It's more of a lunch counter with tables around the edges.

I LOVE this cafe. The food is phenomenal and they are pretty quick to get your food made. If you’re local or visiting, definitely recommend stopping here or getting take out. Their homemade jam that comes with your toast is out of this world!! They only take cash I believe, but definitely worth it!!

Would not recommend. Waited for forever for drink refills. The omelet was overcooked (but at least edible), but my american fries were way under. My husband enjoyed his breakfast, but did mention that the hollandaise was off. I'm glad we checked it out, as it is a cute little dive restaurant with some cute decor, but the food, service, and cleanliness all need a lot of tlc. The one saving grace is that the coffee was fresh!

My wife and I had breakfast here. It kind of has an old school vibe, very welcoming and comfortable. Super Clean, which I appreciated. I feel like it's a fresh remodel, because everything is in tip top shape. Anyway, our breakfast was spot on, perfectly cooked and delicious and our server was thoughtful and timely. We liked the fresh strawberry jelly too. Places like this deserve to succeed and thrive. Oh, they're CASH ONLY!

The most disgusting dining experience I have ever had. We ordered a big country skillet, the only thing cooked thoroughly was the precooked ham bits. We ordered two pieces of the raisin french toast, it was soggy and disgusting. The biscuits and gravy, though slathered in a weak gravy, were doughy and less than memorable. The only good thing I can say about the western omelet was that the mushrooms and onions were good, both being practically raw. All of this after an almost 2 hour wait. During which we got ONE round of drinks. Though we didn't even see drinks for 45 minutes. They are a "locals only" type of mentality, and if you aren't a local they couldn't care less about serving you, although they will try and get pity by saying they are busy when they only have 5 tables seated. Not worth the drive, certainly not worth a stop. I'd continue the drive and just stop at Cozy cafe, a much better stop for your money.

The portion of goulash for $8.50 was Kid sized. The large chocolate milk was very small for $2.75. My beef vegetable soup was extremely oily for $4.50 a bowl. The potato soup was mediocre for $4.50 a bowl. The lunch special ham and cheese croissant had very little meat on it for $8.50 which included fries. The goulash was not served with a side. I had to sit there for 15 minutes after concluding my meal to receive a bill. Our waitress did a good job and was friendly. overall my bill was $32.50 for two people and I left the waitress a $6 tip.Parking: Parking was sufficientWheelchair accessibility: There was a disabled parking spot and entry for Disabilities was good

Cool little mom and pop style restaurant. The food is good, the service is on par for the course and the atmosphere is pretty good as well. The wait time for meals & drinks are sometimes a bit long here, and the meals are good here but not over the top WOW so this is why I gave 4 stars. If you are in the area it is worth trying. I have yet to have a bad meal here yet.

This place has the cozy small town atmosphere you remember from when your a kid. I have been going there for 30+ years and not one thing has changed. Order biscuits and gravy and boy did it bring back to the South. Friendly staff and cozy dinning area with a breakfast bar. Perfection if your in to the old school diner experience.....

The food at this café is very good. The food takes long to arrive, but it’s worth the wait. Highly recommend coming to this place. It is very welcoming.

I saw the mixed reviews and thought it was still worth a shot to go here, did I ever pay for that mistake. Entire experience was about an hour an a half, people were spaced out so it was super busy, but took about 40 min after we ordered our food to get it, and it was awful. I can't believe I ate anything but my boyfriend and I were starving and ate enough to get by, but I wish I would have listened to the person who said to just eat breakfast from Kwik Trip.

Passing through town and stopped on a whim. Driving by or from the outside you wouldn’t think much of it but once you’re inside it’s cozy and welcoming. Everyone working was very kind/sweet. We both had breakfast which was very tasty. Very fair prices and a lot of things made from scratch (pie, soup) It’s a small town feeling for sure. Will stop again if passing by!

The place is small but popular in the area. The food is diner fare, greasy spoon. But it was well prepaired, the service was good, and the servers were very pleasant. They serve breakfast all day. The portions were tasty and large, so you'd better go hungry.

I see so many excellent posts! We ate here and not even close. The place was dirty, waited 40 minutes for breakfast and some of the food tasted spoiled. I can only imagine that the good posts are family. You will get better food at Kwik Trip and only wait 5 minutes.

Good greasy spoon food - we generally go for breakfast. Do not go if you are in a hurry, service is extremely slow. It's something we learned to expect and live with. The waitresses appear to be working hard but the kitchen seems to be the back-up. Coffee cup is always full.

Food was great, lots of locals in the restaurant. Had breakfast, came out hot and delicious. Took off one star because it wasn’t terribly busy and I still had to wait a half hour for food after ordering. Will definitely be back.

We came at 1030 on a Saturday morning. Granted, they were busy, but we sat in back room, waited 20 minutes and no waitress. They allowed a woman to move a chair and block the doorway. This is a health and safety issue, as doorway is only egress from room. Have been there before, doubt we will ever be back.

My boyfriend is picky about his restaurants but we both love this place! I don't know what some people are talking about with the "slow service." We've been there several times and it was pretty average as far as timing. The staff are also very pleasant to deal with!

Whoa! Stopped in for breakfast recently on a whim. This place is unassuming and does their cafe thing right. Service was spot on, very friendly and attentive and the food was exactly what I was looking for. Lots of choices and homemade pie to seal the deal when the time comes :)
