Bought a huge chest freezer 2 years and 4 months ago. It died late night. Russell's won't stand by their products. You would think a $1250 freezer would last more than 2 years. I will never buy their over priced appliances again. If you do, buy from this place, get extended warranty because Russell's won't do anything for ya.

They had what we were in need of, a refrigerator and found a new lift chair at the same time. Prompt delivery and set up the next day. It was a friendly family atmosphere. Shop local if you can! Thankful

Our dryer was having problems and after submitting a service request online over the weekend, we were contacted Monday morning to arrange service! The person we spoke with was articulate and friendly in explaining what to expect including pricing and timing. The service technician arrived on time. He so friendly and great to work with, letting us know exactly what to expect. He fixed our dryer, explained what had gone wrong, and ensured we saw it working correctly before leaving the house. The pricing was fair as well. From start to finish it was a seamless process and that is much appreciated!

This is your one-stop-shop in this small town. They have housewares, groceries, tools, clothes, outdoor stuff, etc.... Like a small Wal-Mart except the housewares were much more exclusive. The reason for the rating is the hefty grocery prices.

Love that we have this local store. It's like a mini Walmart, hardware store grocery store.Very family friendly. Wish they took our e wic card they do take ebt, so that helps!

Their produce is always really old and rough looking, and it’s more so a furniture shop than grocery. The prices are high too, and they’re pushing out other stores in an already small town that doesn’t have much. So disappointing. We need a different place to take over. Staff is always friendly though, so no complaints there!

Could've done without the sales pitch - and we did! There isn't one at Russell's! Just genuine, down-to-earth conversation about the products, delivery, installation, etc. Bruce & Co. are so great to deal with. The installers were so patient and detail-oriented. Top-notch organization. We love our new range and refrigerator, and the dishwasher and range hood we bought last year. Definitely the best appliance dealer and installer in the entire area, hands down.

I have to say that I am impressed with them because they have the best people installing their flooring. I personally don't like the people that work in the store there because of the way they treat people shopping there. The flooring people that does the installation are very good at it and I think that they are the best flooring people around. If they treated people better in the store I would give them 5 stars.

Super friendly, would be five stars but prices are about 20 cents or much more on everything compared to other grocery store but high prices are expected in small town and we support local business in town and the vegetables seem to always be on the bad side if they correct these things definately 5 out of 5

Was a great experience... even had a lady come up to me, ask if I needed help and then told me about more of something I was looking at. (On a voluntary basis... not like some other stores where you can't even find someone to ask!)LOVE the variety and prices VERY comparable 😀

I could trust them to care for myself and my Grandmother with the upmost attention to detail, personal attention, and care.

Man, this place is tight!I went in for a pot roast and walked out with a bedroom set and whole living rooms with of carpet.OK, Just Kidding... but seriously, if you need a pressure cooker,- Russels.If you need a roast for your pressure cooker,- Russles.If your pressure cooker mishap leaves you needing a whole living rooms worth of New carpet,- Russels has got it.Russels is the only place in a 20 mile radius that sells saltpetr for all your meat curing needs. (Use the saltpetr yall. Had a bad bout of botchalism last year, and russles got 4 Oz for 5$. Not a bad deal)....check it out; and no, your not dreaming. Your at Russels. Where the customer service is always clean and the bathrooms are friendly.

My mother bought a washer from Russel's of Neillsville. From day one the washer never worked correctly because the agitator was not properly in place. My mother spoke with the customer service and Bruce several times and they insisted there was nothing wrong with the washer. Finally Bruce agreed to come out and look at it. He showed up when my mother wasn't there. He ran the machine through the cycles (with no clothes in it) and told my dad it works fine, completely ignoring the fact the agitator was the problem. My mom had a technician come and look at the washer and he said the agitator was not properly in place. He fixed the issue and for a short time it worked properly. My mom filed a complaint with the BBB. Bruce's response them was I came out ran it through the cycles and worked fine. Again, completely failing to mention it was the agitator that wasn't working. He also said my mom told one of the customer services reps "she better watch her back". While my mother was very upset with these people for failing to do anything help her, she never once threatened any of them and did not say "you better watch your back".

This is my new favorite store 😍 I was looking for a microwave and I found exactly what I was looking for. The people there are super friendly and it's a one stop shopping. The person who waited on me was amazing she helped me to make a decision on the microwave and washer and dryer 😀 I love this store and I will be going back 😁

Poor customer service!! Sales people recommend wrong product then refuse to accept a return. When you have a small business, in a small community, don't piss off your customers. Obviously, this store has not heard of this concept. Numerous family members have had the same poor customer service. I will recommend all of my family NOT buy from this business.

What an AMAZING store!!! This is a store you would not expect to find in such a small town. They carry big name brands that you would only expect to see in a bigger city (Organic Valley, Seventh Generation, Bogs, etc). The cashier told me they have the same supplier as Woodmans in Eau Claire, so it's a very comparable store and selection. It is impeccably clean, with neatly faced shelves- the produce is fresh, the selection is great. You can find anything from farm/pet items, to high-end furniture and decor, to anything in between. SO impressed with this store. We will be repeat customers!!!

Very much enjoy that there is a grocery section now; however, prices are a bit steep compared to bigger box stores 30 mins away but makes up for it in a convenience factor of being in town. Would be wonderful to see more gardening supplies!

The grocery part of this new location is wonderful! Everything is beautifully displayed in the coolers, easy access and the prices are way less than the other grocery store in town! However, the rest of the store's departments are ridiculously expensive.

My washer was still on warranty and bought at a different store. I called Maytag and was told to use a certified Maytag technician andthey said Russell's of Neillsville would help. Warranty information was emailed to them 3 times before service order was done. Waited a week and a half before they came out which was after another phone call to them. Ordered part from description of problem and did not come out to diagnose. Did 5 loads and did not work again. Called and again waited a few weeks before diagnosing real problem which was lid lock switch. He put it back together and told me to use it and call if any more problems. Did 2 loads and stopped working. Called again and waited 2 weeks no call back. I called and part was ordered. Waited a few more days and called again. Now we are told warranty is over and they will not come to fix it. After few trips to laundromat and unprofessional customer service, I was told to go some place else. So done with Russell's.

The Best Place to shop in Clark/Jackson Counties... you can find anything from Baby formula, to hunting gear... not to mention good selection of alcohol to support pour inner peace ;o)

They lie! And if you buy a refridgerator from them, don't let them talk you into getting your ice and water hooked up, they'll tell you it's $45 and then charge you double. When they came to hook up our ice they didn't bring the right tools and still charged, then made us wait fo days before they came back. There's no communication there and nobody knows what they're talking about. They will not help you with any concerns either. Hidden fees they don't tell you about!
