Extremely rude service here— I received some A&W coupons issued by the corporation and when I went to redeem one was told “they weren’t issued by this specific restaurant.” Since when is an A&W coupon issued by the actual corporation not a valid coupon to be used at an A&W???? They refused my coupons and my money as I wasn’t going to go there but was going to utilize the coupon and deal they offered. Highly recommend if you don’t want to lose customers you should accept your corporation’s coupons.

Slowwww. Chilli cheese fries had almost no cheese and very little chilli. I didnt get a fork or napkins. That made eating in a dark car interesting. I wouldn't have even gotten fries had I known what id get. Paid a nice price just to throw them in trash when I got home. I'd like to see new owners succeed but having doubts. I've been going there for years when I pass through but will definitely hesitate now. $16 for a cup of water, double burger and chilli cheeseless fries, ehhh. Might just make a kwik trip stop and grab a gut bomb for a few bucks next time.

Grand opening = $1 coney dogs & $2 sundaes!¹ I wanted JUST CHEESE on my dog, but they couldn't figure out how to ring it up....1 coney dog, ADD CHEESE! Then just don't put the meat sauce on it..... seriously? $2.53 for a cheese dog! IDTS😤² Then the sundaes no longer have nuts as an option! 😱🤦‍♀️So very disappointed. I'd fully intended to buy 5 dogs w cheese & 2 sundaes. Instead, I just had one dollop of ice cream w hot fudge only. 😣I won't be back.

Stopped for a bite to eat after shopping at some garden shops with my son and daughter in law. We ordered food they brought to table. All good, until the Owner decided to belittle and berate a worker, As he sat at one of the tables. He proceeded to do this again behind the counter in front of all the customers as we all sat in disbelief of his actions again and again until he noticed all of us staring at him. ( if it was me I would have walked out) You could tell this worker was quite shaken and upset as his face was bright red. I briefly chatted with the worker telling him to take a deep breath, you get to go soon. Shook his hand and apologized to him that this is happening. This business is for sale (A&W Neillsville) and think it’s his best choice as I don’t think he should be running a business or in charge of anyone. No one should have to take that abuse by anyone. You Sir are rude and mean. You definitively need to retire.

Older man working was so Rude. We had a large group. Understandable that he couldn't keep up with our orders as we tried to go slow. He was very short with us. We will never come to this A&W again. We are in town for my grandmother's funeral. Other employees were also rude. We regret spending the $80 that we did there. They were also out of several items on the menu.

Ordered #1 papa burger with cheese fries and a root beer. The lettuce was turning brown, the tomato didnt even look like a tomato and was falling apart, weird color. The bun was pretty much saturated in grease, and soggy. The cheese sauce or whatever type of cheese they threw on it just drained off my burger and that's not an exaggeration. The pickles felt rubbery while chewing so not fresh. Burger was cooked fully thankfully. The fries could of been fresher along with the cheese. The root beer always good. Most likely won't order any burgers with any lettuce, pickles, or tomatoes from here anymore

I should really give this location another chance. I stopped by last year in August for lunch with a co-worker, the lobby was being remodeled but they kept it open for dine-in customers. Really wish we hadn't eaten in. Everything was quite dirty and the staff were arguing very loudly. Only plus side is the food was as good as you would expect.

Ordered our food waited longer than everyone else in line even everyone who was after us. Food came out. Chicken was good. Burger was cold. Fries and cheese curds were horrible. The deep fryer oil was definitely not very warm so the food absorbed all the grease before cooking. We weren't the only ones that day that were not happy.

Love the food here. The cheese curds are amazing!! The chili cheese fries here are the best of anywhere I've ever had them. Love the bacon cheeseburgers too. Their signature root beer is still the best root beer! Never a bad experience when I stop here

I Only really like their salads here and they really gave me one small thing of DIPPING ranch, with poorly cut chicken. And one marinara for a large cheese curd and onion ring. Disappointed. We even told them we wanted more than just one.

Old manager man yelled at employees constantly. Don't know why anyone would want to work here and get harassed by old man. He would yell at them to cook food faster and was incompetent with taking our money.

Staff was mean. They misheard what I ordered, so I came back to get the right thing. I was very nice and I realize mistakes happen. They told me I was wrong, groaned, rolled their eyes, and didn’t even say sorry for the inconvenience.Except the lady with short brown hair, she was kind. The drive thru lady was just rude.I totally understand mistakes happen, but the staff treated me so poorly and just plain rude. Won’t ever come back, or recommend to anyone just because of how they treated me.My food was great, not worth the staff.
