Got my first large, 240 gallon aquarium and I couldn’t be happier. I have never seen such amazing packaging! The aquarium was extremely well protected between both boxes and arrived in perfect condition. The quality of the build is second to none, polished edges and neat minimal silicone with the ultra Clear glass give it a clean look with the stand and canopy.Just overall a amazing journey step by step from custom aquarium Thanks Bob for all of your help with my project.I wouldn’t hesitate to purchase another aquarium from custom-aquarium highly recommend them 10/ 10. In mid March I decided to do some research and look for a new aquarium stand. I came across Custom Aquariums and I really liked the style, features and the options I could get with a new stand/canopy. I finally pulled the trigger and ordered a new stand and canopy that would pop with our new flooring. I ordered it one night after work. The next day I already had Bob reach out to verify what I was buying and the dimensions of my aquarium. After I ordered I was told it would take 8-10 weeks for delivery, which was fine because of our new flooring would be coming in right before that.End of May I got an email informing me my aquarium was done and needed confirmation for it to be shipped. I gave the go ahead and shipped it. Once the stand and canopy arrived I was amazed with the packaging and how careful it was packaged. It took me a good hour to unpack the stand/canopy but once I had it out of the package I was even more amazed. The team at Custom Aquariums craftsmanship is professionally built and I would highly recommend them. Bob also reached out to see if I was happy with the stand/canopy and I couldn’t compliment the team even more. Bravo team I’m very happy with my new stand/canopy.Anyone that doesn’t give this company 5 stars is crazy.

Custom Aquariums is absolutely AMAZING. I don't usually write reviews, but my experience with them was 5 stars from the moment I ordered the aquarium to the day I received it. I bought a 375-gallon, 10-foot long aquarium, and the only thing I can say is that I should have done it sooner. Wish could give 10 stars... the tank and stand beyond what I was expecting. Will buy again for sure, can't say enough good things about my 150 gal tank and sump set up. It came well packaged and very secure. Worth the money. Bob was very helpful and still is thank you Bob. 280 GALLON TANK AND SEAMLESS SUMP SYSTEMFirst off I want to start by saying I have seen through my fish groups and through YouTubers these Custom Aquariums tanks and knew I had to have one!! The quality in which they are built gives me the piece of mind we all need as fish keepers! From the anadized aluminum frame to their sealing process takes the worry out of my mind of a blow out happening. Every fish keepers worse nightmare!I ordered their 280 gallon set up. It included a seamless sump and I was quite nervous about it because I’ve never had a sump before. I have always used canister filters. I am forever changed! I love the sump and how easy it is to work on. Their siphon stoppers took all the worry of a flood if the power goes off out of my mind. They work like a charm to break any siphon that might start.The maple hardwood stand is built solidly! And it’s beautiful, a true piece of furniture unlike the “stands” you get from other places.The shipping process was worry free. Tia was sooo helpful and nice. She took the worry out of the pick up process. The tanks are packed amazing! No breakage or worry about if it will come in one piece or not.My sales rep Bob was very helpful and answered all my questions without hesitation or making me feel as if I was bothering him. The whole process from start to finish took about 11 weeks but man, so worth the wait!!Thank you Custom Aquariums for a great experience in the tank building process!!

My wife and I had been out of the hobby for many years. A few years ago we purchased a new home and decided we wanted a stunning centerpiece aquarium to complement our modern look in our home. After months of research we decided that Custom Aquariums was it for us. The outstanding customer service was outstanding! Once the tank arrived in earlyMarch of 2023 it was all that my wife and I expected and much more. Our 180 soon to be Discus and current supporting cast aquarium is amazing and we couldn’t be happier with the end results. Called to inquire on an aquarium, the person that answered was Nathan Aplin.Over my many interactions with Nathan, over the phone and emails; he proved to be extremely patient, very knowledgeable of his products, professional, responsive, pleasant and genuinely interested in my needs.After a week of dealing with Nathan I decided to place an order on 3/12/24.The documentation provided for my signature was very detailed, specific to what we had come up with, clear and easy to execute. Every single of the 18 pages required a signature and date!!! Included drawings of aquarium with hole placement and the stand.This is an excellent way to assure that what I want, is what I will get!Nathan followed up with a thank you email and explanation of what to expect, and what to do, on delivery date; which should be mid to late May.The entire process was very pleasurable and stress free. So far, I couldn't be more satisfied!

As far as the quality of the tank is concerned, you won't find a better built aquarium from anyone. The glass is flawless, the frame is sturdy and very attractive, the braces are easy to remove and re-install during setup. The silicone beads are sturdy, clean, and appropriately thick. This 72" x 36" x 30" tank is the biggest one that I've ever owned and I'm blown away by how clear their ultra-clear glass is.I worked with Bob from start to finish and he was more than willing to answer my long list of questions. He steered me away from accidentally buying a tank too big to get through my front door. I would give him an A for his service.The only reason I can't give them 5 stars is that they quoted an 8 to 10 week lead time and it arrived in 13 weeks. They also couldn't offer any vendors in my area to help me get the tank from the driveway onto my stand, which proved to be quite a hassle. We did have an issue with the freight carrier, but they stayed on top of it from the time I reported it until the tank was safely in my driveway.

I purchased a 8’L x 3’T x 18”w tank (A bit shy of 300 gallons). The tank looks amazing, the quality of the frame is very nice and strong, the silicone was done very professionally and the customer service was great!If anyone is looking for a big aquarium or any aquarium I would highly recommend this company.They took care of me and all my needs and questions. Nate and everyone else were very knowledgeable about what they were doing.I had the tank shipped to me in Albuquerque NM and the tank came well packaged with massive pieces of wood as the frame to keep it safe. The packaging was at its finest to prevent the tank from breaking.Quality work! I built my own stand but after seeing the tank I wish I would of got the stand from them also. I Also got the glass lids from this company and they are really nice and easy to install. They have hard plastic in the back that can be cut to fit the pumps thruI will upload pictures and other things. If you are a shopper I would highly recommend you get a tank from this company. I am very happy.

My Lifetime Aquarium is absolutely amazing, definitely worth every penny. Beveled edges on every piece of glass including the lids, generous beads of quality sealant tooled perfectly, and a strong framing that is probably almost bulletproof. Nathan Aplin was awesome making sure everything was correct before submitting the build order, and even better following up post delivery to make sure everything was exactly the way I ordered it. Tia Van Ryzin was great too arranging the shipping, really good customer service throughout the process. My peacock cichlids have never looked better through the ultra clear glass, it’s stunning the difference it makes seeing your fish through a quality built aquarium. I highly recommend getting a Lifetime Aquarium, you definitely get what you pay for with Custom Aquariums.A very satisfied customer.

Custom Aquariums turned my vision into reality.After visiting several local fish stores and a few aquarium design firms for several months within a 50 mile radius Custom Aquariums were the right fit design wise and financially in regards to my project. I began my research back in November 2020. Several articles spoke about purchasing custom glass tanks locally due to shipping cost and the damage factor as well. I must admit I was very nervous about the damage factor.I contacted Custom Aquariums and a gentleman names Bob Pontow ( National Sales Rep.) responded to my inquiry. He was very professional and informative. He walked me through all the stages and time line of events that were involved in ordering a new glass tank. Kudos to the company as a whole you can really tell they focused on company standards and processes. There price was much lower then my local businesses. However the shipping cost was a bit high ( Rightfully so we are transporting a glass tank). They kept me updated during the fabrication process and scheduled delivery once completed. Once received the tank was concealed within a custom wood frame that fully protection all of the components within. Bob continued to following upon delivery and even wanted me to update him once everything was setup just in case I required and further assistance. I am happy to report that there has been no issues at all with tank. It is now April 2020 and my tank is up and running with a few more tweaks that I have in mind. See attached photographs for your viewing hope you enjoy them.I apologize for writing such a long review however service like this is very hard to find this day in age. And I truly believe Custom Aquariums went above and beyond the call of duty. It was an absolute pleasure working with Bob and his team. I would recommend their services to anyone in the Aquarium hobby.

My 75 gallon aquarium is up and running and the process could not have been easier. Bob at Custom Aquariums was very patient with me and answered all my questions. The constant follow-up never left me guessing. The product was incredible, from the packaging to the final install. My new tank from Custom Aquariums is fantastic. It arrived securely in a heavy duty, sturdy crate that was custom-built of 2x4s and particle board. Custom Aquariums double-checked and confirmed the specs with me, even emailing me a "last chance for any changes" before sending the order to production. Though the production time took three months, (requiring this excited aquarist to constantly practice patience), the tank arrived built perfectly to specs, and was very much worth the wait. I was impressed with how meticulously the sealant was applied at the corner seams of the tank in nice, clean, straight lines with absolutely no messy overflow outside of the seam. The ultra clear glass I ordered on the front and sides was indeed crystal clear without any green tint of typical, common grade glass. The Custom Aquariums team was great to work with on this order, and I greatly appreciated their quick response time and attentive service. I will definitely look to Custom Aquariums for any future custom tank needs!

I purchased an entire set-up from Custom Aquariums (tank, stand and Seamless Sump) about a year and a half ago. I got a 5' by 2' by 2' tank and an extra-tall stand. If you are looking for a custom tank, I would encourage you to seriously consider them. Some thoughts:1. Ordering process was excellent. I had many questions and Bob patiently answered them all and worked through several options until I made my final decision. Invaluable!!!!2. Shipping was outstanding! They package their shipments extremely well and the shipping company was professional.3. The tank arrived in perfect condition with silicone seams as clean and beautiful as described on their web site. I set up an 'island' tank that is viewable from all four sides, so I got their H2Overflow with all the plumbing running up through a 3" PVC "concealment column" pipe through the center bottom of the tank. The construction is highest quality. Same story with the stand, which I had finished on all four sides. Over a year and a half later the tank and stand look like new.4. The H2Overflow is a real winner. I was initially hesitant due to the lack of a backup drain, like in an bean animal or herbie set-up. However, this is a great, low-profile, nearly impossible to clog overflow system. And the 3" concealment column is much better than a 8" by 8" overflow in the middle of my tank.5. I love my Seamless Sump!! It is a cinch to maintain, and the glass covers on the sump help minimize humidity in the stand. The inside of my stand is warm but dry. It was trivial to drill additional holes in the HDPE to plumb an external skimmer or run an extra line or wire.If I were to order another tank there is no doubt that I would work with Custom Aquariums again. Thanks Bob!!

I bought a 75 gallon rimless aquarium from Amazon and it turned out a bit shorter and wider than the regular 75. so I need a new stand for it. I've seen Custom Aquariums many times on YouTube and decided to give it a try.Bob was very professional, patient and responsive through the process. I received my stand today which is perfect.I enjoyed the experience very much and will definitely work with Custom Aquariums again.Highly recommend.

I order my realistic dream tank though Custom Aquariums because of the affordable pricing, aluminum frame, and high quality of craftsmanship. I received great customer service from Bob. I was not sent a couple parts for the overflow system and Bob shipped them to me right away and found the reason why they were not included in my order. I would most definitely purchase another aquarium again, at least if my wife lets me. The aquarium I purchased was 4'x4'x2' with 1/2" ultra clear glass and a black aluminum stand. It is slowly coming together and I know I will enjoy they tank for a long time.
