Relieved to find a professional, experienced and knowledgeable team. So much more than just shots. Thank you for all you do! Mr. Clydesdale is living his best life.

After searching for awhile for a new veterinarian after my former one retired, I found this clinic. Wonderful experience from start to finish! They were kind on the phone and able to get me in last minute with my cat. The first impression upon arrival was great; adorable, welcoming atmosphere and friendly staff. We were immediately brought into the exam room, asked questions and addressed our concerns. Everything was up front and clearly explained as we left our Gabby there to be looked at in between visits. By early afternoon we received a call back from the doctor explaining the outcome and the treatment. Upon pick up, we were once again greeted professionally, kindly and thoroughly walked through the results and treatment. Beyond impressed with this place and I’m relieved to have a new vet clinic 😀

We brought our dog in for a cleaning after he had an infected tooth. We talked to the staff when we dropped him off and again when they called explaining that we did not want them to pull a bunch of his teeth (they did that earlier this year to my elderly dog who was only supposed to have 1 tooth pulled and they pulled 10 without so much as a phone call to ask). We told them that we had been looking into ways to help heal his teeth and gums and were set to implement these things after his cleaning. If he needed A COUPLE of bad ones pulled we stated that was fine. Well, they called later that day only to tell me that they had pulled 13 teeth! This is only a 5 year old dog and they never called to get permission to do so. That, along with the fact that we were very adamant prior to him getting the procedure done, was obviously a shock and we were very upset. When my husband went to pick up our dog and asked to speak with the vet and view the x-rays (so she could explain why she did such a thing when we specifically asked her not to) she was conveniently "not available". He was left to talk to the vet tech, shown no x-rays, and we never once received a call from the vet explaining why she had taken such action. I am appalled at how our dog and we were treated. I don't understand at what point they decided they could just do whatever they wanted and completely ignore what we had stated we wanted done with OUR dog. Furthermore, they never even followed up the next day to see how he was doing after they ripped out 13 teeth. I would steer clear of this place if you are someone who doesn't just let the vet do whatever they want with your dog, because apparently that's what they do here.

Wonderful staff and Doctors. They have all gone above and beyond in helping us with our sweet girl. Our dog actually loves going there! That says a lot. Thank you all from the bottom of our hearts for your knowledge, expertise, patience, and kindness. It means the world to us!

If I could give 10 stars I would. Hands down the BEST veterinary clinic I have ever been to. They truly care about your four legged family members, especially when it matters most. Thank you for being you.

First of all, it's virtually impossible to get an appointment for vaccines and routine care. Our cat became sick on Memorial Day. I can't help, but wonder if the bad advice from the vets at Mishicot led to his death. Our cat 😺 had a seizure disorder and they prescribed a medicine that was supposed to be given three times a day, but they told us to give it to him once a day.. When he had another seizure and their advice was to give him the meds twice a day - even though it's a 3 times a day med. We were told that at the emergency veterinary clinic. Unfortunately, our 🐈 cat had to be put down. It makes me wonder if the bad medical advice caused him to die before his time. Our cat also had Feline leukemia and the Mishicot vet never tested him for it.

There is no one else I would trust my pet to than Dr. Rider. She goes beyond out of her way to try and accommodate all her clients' needs; even when it is not convenient for her. Dr. Rider does anything, and everything in her power to treat my pet and to make sure they get the care they need, running necessary tests and performing ONLY NECESSARY procedures. Dr. Rider is knowledgeable, stays up to date by educating herself even further, and is the kindest veterinarian you will ever meet. Absolute joy visiting her.

Just had our first vet appointment for our puppy and highly recommend Mishicot Veterinary Clinic. We were in a time constraint to get our puppy checked out and Mishicot vet was able to get us in sooner than our regular vet. After this first visit, we will be going there from now on. Dr. Rider and all the staff we encountered were friendly, thorough, and compassionate with our 10 week old puppy. This is for sure our permanant vet for all of our pets from now on. 5 stars!

After 5 years and this being the only vet our dog has had, we were treated like strangers who were inconveniencing them. The staff is arrogant and they don't pay attention to their own records for vital details. We feel they ignoring critical information and pretty much anything we tried to tell them. Seriously dissatisfied, and will not return.

Best people I've ever met. My 12 year old Boston Terrier Rosie suddenly could not walk, was falling down and in a frightening state of distress. I wasn't able to get my vet in my hometown of Manitowoc to look at her. In semi-panic mode I recalled someone I know that had mentioned how much they like the Mishicot Veterinarian. I Googled vets and got their phone number. I forgot to mention that this was late on a Saturday morning. A female voice answered and kindly said yes bring her out! I met the person with the kind voice, her name is Tina. She immediately took us into an exam room. Shortly after an assistant to Dr. Rider came and patiently took down information from me and took Rosie's temperature. Not long after Dr. Michelle Rider came in and asked questions and examined Rosie and diagnosed her with Vestibular disease. Very treatable, which took away my fears. Dr. Rider was kind, knowledgeable and compassionate and despite the fact that we ran past the normal open hours on a Saturday, she took her time with us and showed great passion for her work. What more can I say!? I found a new veterinary clinic full of caring and compassionate people.Dan Peters & Rosie

I waited a little bit to write this review to allow a decent amount of time to ensure that this review be accurate. Dr. Rider performed surgery on my dog for a luxating patella back in July 2017. By me allowing her to perform this surgery it costs me only a fraction of the price that a specialist would of charged! I did ask questions and I was skeptical because she was not a specialist. My questions were answered and we decided to trust our pup in her hands. It's been months since the surgery and it takes a long time to heal a knee that has to be reconstructed...today our dog Hunter is able to support his own wieght and run! She did amazing with him! Our dog (who we never thought would ever walk right again let alone run) has now got his freedom back. We are forever grateful for her and her knowledge and I'm sure our Hunter is as well! From the bottom of our hearts thank you!!!! I highly recommend!

I ended up at Mishicot Vet by an Emergancy with a friends dog a few years back. My friends vet was out of town and she needed a vet ASAP for her sick dog. We called Mishicot and explained that our vet was out and that the dog was sick. It was 4:30pm they close at 5pm. However they didn’t hesitate and said they would see the dog and not to worry about the time. We arrived at 5:15pm they were kind and compassionate. They took care of the dog, and the staff, the receptionist, the doctor never did anyone complain about the time it was taking. The dog needed an IV for dehydration and they sat there with us explaining each step etc. that changed my mind that night we decided to make them our vet for our four dogs.Back in February we had an Emergancy with our little male while we were on vacation. The sitter ran the dog to the vet and they took care of him. They kept us up to date by phone on his condition often until we were able to get there. They were so kind, I can not say enough about the vets and staff here. They have always treated our dogs as though they were their own. If you are thinking about getting a new vet or are a new animal owner I would by far recommend Mishicot vet.Thank you Mishicot vet for taking care of our furry friends!!!!!

They got my dog in for an appointment the next day after I called .Dr Rivers took all the time in the world explaining what might be going on with my dog even though they were running behind due to an emergency & being understaffed. I can't even begin to explain how grateful I am for the kindness we were shown from the moment we walked in the door until the moment we left. Mishicot Veterinary Clinic is everything a vet clinic should be & we can't thank you enough.

Moving back to the area I was so happy to find Meg Hebert to groom my dog, Dunkin. He's always happy to go and leaves looking perfect and happy. All the staff I have met so far are welcoming and genuine. Dunkin gives it 5 tail wags, too!

1 Dr that's all they have, they are overwhelmed, more clients than staff to handle them all. Dr Garder is wonderful. But getting an appointment is IMPOSSIBLE. maybe if they find another DR things will improve.

We're sorry we have to leave the clinic since we've moved out of the area. I had even thought of commuting back to the clinic but it would be too far. They gave my cats excellent medical care and kept me well informed about the treatment.
