Amazingly huge variety of products are at Henson’s Country Foods! There is a large liquor and wine section. Produce, meat, frozen foods, bulk seed, deer blocks, toiletry items, a dollar section. Very clean and really well organized. The prices are good. The employees were pleasant and helpful. Other customers were friendly too.Now that we found this, it will be a place we return when we are in the area.

My family makes it a yearly stop for all of our Thanksgiving dinner needs as well as our adult beverages... they have a great variety of meats,cheeses and snacks as well as your everyday grocery store needs and inhouse liquor store. This is a great store !

Excellent meat selection. All very fresh. Bakery is awesome, you get a free cookie and cup of coffee. Bulk bird seed area and a great selection of pet treats. Jack Links jerky outlet!!

Great little local grocery. Been going there for 56 years. Not always the cheapest but sometimes they are. Not the biggest selection but they do pretty good and the owners are great.

Old time, wandering aisles, grocery store.Great meat area.Wonderful folks.Lots of varieties of jerky from the local Jack Links facility down the street.A must stop for folks heading north past Minong!

I stopped at Henderson’s like I normally do when going to our cabin in Minong, normally I do not have any issues and spend a lot of money every year there. But after this visit I will be going to spooner from now on. I got over charged for a bag of ice it got rung up as a block of ice for 8.99, when the bags are 2.25. I saw the mistake as I was leaving and brought it to the cashier, she looks and said oh I will get Carolyn up to help you refund that. Carolyn comes up and gives all sort of attitude before I even try to explain it to her. She kept saying ma’am what do you want me to do… um the heck? I would like to be appropriately charged for my one bag of ice. She couldn’t figure out the math so I told her 8.99-2.25 is 6.74 but I didn’t know what their tax was. She ended up getting help from another lady after she was too flustered with the machine and math. Somewhere they got I got charged three bags of ice and refunded two. Still overpaid for the ice. It ended up being a 4.40 bag of ice that should have been 2.37 after tax. I was done fighting with this hostile women. I just will take my money elsewhere.

Expensive (33 percent more) when compared to our usual grocery store Walmart... but Walmart is an hours drive away. So there's that to consider.Selection is good. Quality is good. On site bakery bread is excellent. The meats we have tried are very good also.Good open hours and no Walmart checkout lines either.

Great small town grocery store. We travel there for their wonderful Dakota Trails beef jerky and the AWESOME cookies their bakery has. Melt in your mouth good!!!

Great place and has been for over 60 years that I know of back in the time of Link bros. Always have a a great friendly greeting when you walk in the door. Always someone there to assist you not to mention great all around food store!

Came here to buy some Jack links beef Jerky before going home to MN. Grabbed a 10 pound beef jerky. Nice customer service, clean, organized, in and out in 30 min.

There should be a special discount for Minong residents.. We should not have to pay tourist prices. We the residents keep the store open all year round.. A discount card would be nice, it would show your appreciation.

Shop here once a month minimum,have awesome meats,pizzas,and great cinnamon bread,toffee cookies,and groceries,not such a huge store ,as in size like other grocery stores,it is easy to get around and you don't have to walk nearly as far as u would a bigger grocery.

Visited while driving through down from Boundary Waters, picked up a 10 POUND BOX of BEEF JERKY!!! Best Place Ever. Call first, I can't confirm they still have that size.

Your one stop grocery and liquor store in Minong. Butcher on duty. Good looking meat and produce. Good parking. Strange layout but I'm sure the locals know their way around. Helpful clerks.

This place has real nice employees. Well stocked. They have the best hamburger meat. They carry fresh fruit, and vegetables. Easy in and easy out.
