Walked in at 6:55 and they closed at 7. The young gentleman working graciously opened the door for us, showed us around the store, and told us to take all the time we need. He was nice and knowledgeable. Even gave us some free cat food samples. 10 out of 10!

The most friendly and helpful people help make Skilos a great place to get everything I need for my pets! My dog loves coming along, and gets so excited when we get close to the door - he knows his buddies are inside with a kind word and treats! I recommend Skilos to everyone, so much nicer than the chain stores. :)

Amazing place! The two men I've met that work there are awesome, and they've got amazing sales! My boyfriend and I went and got an amazing tube/bed combination for only 20 dollars! Steal! Our chunky kitty absolutely loves it! (Though she still prefers a box)

Skilos is family-owned & operated and they provide excellent customer service. They have a great selection and are very knowledgeable about healthy brands. We moved out of downtown Milwaukee and we still make trips back just to shop at Skilos for our pup!

Skilos is the best! Wonderful humans who help humans do what's best for their furry animals. Our cat had a minor mishap at 7:40pm and it was wonderful knowing I could quickly go to Skilos and get what I needed! Support local small buisnesses!!

My favorite pet supply store in town. I love that it’s close enough to Riverwest for me and my dog to walk to. My cat is on a raw food lifestyle and I found a brand of food here that Sera seems to really like, Skilos is the only local store I’ve found that has it.The staff that I’ve interacted with are always very friendly and eager to help out/answer questions.Prices are in line with all the other chain stores. Definitely recommend this place.

I LOVE Skilos! Not only is the staff super friendly, but they are extremely knowledgeable! The snuffle mat I bought from them has been a life saver for all of my foster pups. Depending on when you go, you might even get to see beautiful doggy Franklin! It’s also awesome to support a local family owned business! I highly recommend checking them out if you haven’t already!

Since moving to the east side of Milwaukee, I have found Skilos to be so helpful! The owners are very pleasant and knowledgeable. They were able to give me great flee and tick products and suggest enrichment toys for my pups. Very friendly staff and they have a great variety of products.

Love Skilos! I recently adopted two rabbits and Skilos has been so helpful as I get them all set up! I had pretty bad allergies to the Timothy hay I got on Amazon, and the team at Skilos suggested an alternative: Oxbow Orchard hay. I now swear by this stuff! If you think you're allergic to your rabbit, it might just be the hay. Max and Mona are happy and so am I! Highly recommend! Super kind, friendly and helpful staff :)

I’ve been shopping at Skilos since shortly after the opened and they have been nothing short of lovely every time I interact with them. Always kind and helpful and they even special order our dog food for us every month! So happy to have a local pet store near home. The choices for cat food and toys here are unmatched to what I’ve seen even at some big box stores!!! And don’t get me started on the very reasonable pricing and quality. So happy to have this store close to me and my fur baby! Good luck to the lady behind the counter who has just started nursing a small kitten back to health. ❤️

The only place I've been able to find some Dr. Marty's cat food, they're family owned, and both brothers offer great customer service. Plus they have a point/ discount membership system which is nice.

Skilos has been my go-to pet store for over a year. I have found here the best products for my dog and the staff are super helpful. Zach and Jerad are always polite and have really nice smiles, although Jerad has been hiding from me lately and we are going to have to have a little chit chat about that. I accidentally bought the wrong type of Hills Science Diet food and they didn’t have the kind that I needed. I spent $160 because I had other items. They wouldn’t let me return the one wrong item, only a store credit. They just lost a customer.
