This is one of the cleanest stores with an amazing staff and employees. The produce section is wonderful and have everything you can ask for. For the food you can buy here is definitely worth the price. Two thumbs up.

Happy 54th birthday, Outpost! It makes sense to shop local, and there's no better boost to the community than our community-owned co-op, which is stocked with fresh local produce, dairy, and meats, plus packaged goods that are delicious and healthful. The deli selections are outstanding, smoothies and juices are tasty, and the baked goods are yummy, whether the recipes are vegan, gluten-free, or traditional. There is even a soup and salad bar! The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, too!

I was surprised with how inexpensive things are here, even compared to bigger chain stores. Their kitchen has the best food too. I would recommend the tapioca popovers and a strawberry smoothie.

They gave me a 2 dollar discount on some 14 dollar flowers. Saddest moment in my outpost life. Those flowers was worth 2 dollars let alone 14 or 12 dollars. HOWEVER ...The staff is amazing and the juices/smoothies are some of the best in the city.

I've been trying to change my diet and go back to the Biblical diet with roots and veggies. Outpost Foods is a good option for this, although they don't carry a lot of roots where other stores lack Outpost Foods supplies.

Absolutely love the salad bar here (it's what brings me there the most). Such a great selection of veggies I love, and always plenty of fresh greens and healthy selections. Their sandwiches at the deli are also incredible...and the carrot cake is the best in town.

This is an exceptional store with professional, helpful staff and great nutritious, organic food.I highly recommend support for this store, Outpost Natural Foods, and encourage people to become members in order to support organic food stores.Outpost also connects with local small businesses and forms partnerships with other related businesses that enrich the environment and our local community encouraging us all to stay healthy and safe.Good values and a great store!

The experience that took place today was absolutely despicable. Why does it seem like black people get followed around the store. I need you all to understand that there are black people that can need, afford and purchase items from Outpost. Every aisle that was occupied by a black person was accompanied by a security guard. It was so disappointing. Literally, the entire store is within my budget without me having to ask for a loan. Trust me, my money is not going to be spent at Outpost any more. I’ll make my way to Whole Foods or Fresh Thyme. At least I don’t get followed at either one of those stores. Thank you for making it seem like you don’t want my money. I’ll gladly take it somewhere else. Booooooooooo!!!

Outpost has a decent selection of healthy foods, seeds, nuts, grains and drinks...all are reasonably priced especially if you buy from the bulk bins. I usually don't have to wait in long lines, I'm in and out pretty quick and I've always been able to park in the lot.

Always impressed with this location. Always a warm welcome and very attentive to the customer in front of them. The Monkey Shake! Also recommend the Two Bean Burrito warmed up!To bad our Mequon location is operated by stuffy inattentive lazy snobs who won't make eye contact with you unless they have to.

EDIT - I have sent Marin an email as requested regarding membership and our membership has been resolved thank you so much for your promptness to resolve this. Haven't been in since COVID started. Returning to shop again. Stopped in to pickup some pantry basics such as split peas, frozen puff pastry, celery, carbonated water, pretzels, kale, grape tomatoes and kimchi. Everything was well stocked in store. Staff friendly. We did get charged for 2 items when we only one of the item. Received a refund afterward. Problem arose when staff couldn't find our member number. Together we are still trying to resolve the loss of our lifetime membership in the OUTPOST records. This has been resolved. 👍👍👍👍👏👏👏

I've enjoyed shopping at Outpost for years. The employees have been helpful and courteous with assisting customers in my experience. Unfortunately, I overheard two employees inappropriately talking about a customer. We're wired as human beings to have reactions to things we witnessed that catch our attention. It's important to display professionalism for the company you choose to represent. The majority of Outpost shoppers are more than likely members that pay for their membership. Where kindness is shown, customers will always return.

One of my favorite grocery stores in the area. This store is always super clean and has a fantastic selection- especially for gluten free, dairy free, and vegan foods. I love the baked goods that are offered- the Zucchini Cupcake and Lemon Bars are amazing! They also have a cafe inside that has decent coffee, and a nice seating area. Prices are on the higher side, but everything is very high quality so i think it’s worth it. Highly recommend!

I absolutely enjoy every visit to the Outpost. It's in a convenient location right by the freeway. The quiche, smoothies and breakfast are my personal favorites. The customer service is always great! Always worth the trip!

Gave a five because they have an EV(electric vehicle) charger. Unfortunately I didn't have an adapter and didn't go in. Smart businesses are adding EV charging in their parking 🅿️ lots. We will see if the new Target 🎯 installs EVs. The charging spot is a drive in. Net easy to back into.

Yall can do better with yall customer service. The women making coffee this morning was more interested n they convo then assisting me n was very inpatient as to the fact was my first time visiting. I didn't allow them to take my joy but noticed the weird vide and rude responses.....young ladies get it together

Actually I am an owner, they offered that to everyone a long time ago,,, so the sights and smells of this place are everything gourmet, I walked around and took it all in, they have a lot of great stuff. And a nice little cafe to sit down and eat if you like. Not cheap but the selection of goodies will awe you. I prefer the store in Wauwatosa, Lived in that area for a long time, now back on the East Side, Riverwest Area. Recommended for Wine Snobs, Cheese Mongers, and Discriminating Pallets.

Excellent place for vegetarians or vegans. Have been eating here nearly daily for 3 years now! Good and consistent quality. Hot bar is best around noon, their tofu and mozzarella sandwiches are what I live on! Salad bar is fresh, soups are good.

The pork was freezer burned on edges I had to cut it off. The wild rice dish i bought and the next night when I went to eat it it was sour. Thru that out. Still the organic and vegan stuff is good. The juice bar great and wine select fair so I will go back.

We stopped here today to pick up some nice steaks to throw on the grillWe got that & a few other things for our grill outMy only complaint would be the dirty look I got from the guy at the service desk as he seen me using the electric cartIf the store offer one I use it because I've got issues with walking & standing for longer periodsYou should train your staff to not judge others based on looksI probably won't return in the future to this locationI can go to plenty of other places for groceries and not worry about staff judging others for using an electric cart

Excellent co-operative grocery. Great produce selection, nice vegan selections including pre-made deli items that you can grab on your way through the store. They also have fantastic cheese and microbrew selections if you're into those things.
