I love that cleanness of this store. But dang ALOT of items are way beyond their expiration date. Sometimes I feel like I am working there rather than shopping . And this is every week. And there’s been a handful of times where I take up the expired items and they seem like they don’t even care.

Shopped their flyer today and saw that they had nice deals on turkey breasts and steaks. Made a special trip to the store. The turkey breasts where nowhere to be found. The steaks were there in the meat display case. They looked wonderful. After 15 minutes of looking around, I could not find a single person to help me. Left with nothing. Another time I went their prices did match the flyer. I showed the meat person (there was one that time) and they still wouldn't honor it. I'm done with this place.

BUYER BEWARE! If you do your own produce weighing/label printing, make sure the price on the machine matches the sale price. Bought some asparagus that was on sale, and it rang up full price. Didn't realize this until we got home, and I wasn't going to drive almost 30 minutes back to get it corrected.

Most departments are great, but beware of the produce. Recently, I purchased a single lemon (#4052 / Be Good Citirus) and the rind was at least 3/8 inches wide. Very little actual lemon to squeeze on my fish fry. They had better seedless lemons, but you had to but a 2 pound bag. Also, picked out two ok Texas grapefruits and there were rotten ones in the bin as well. No produce employees around when I was there in the evening to talk to.On a positive note, the pharmacy is the best in the area and they also have great handicapped scooters that hold a good amount of groceries. Best frozen foods selection as well.

The sales are always amazing! With the way prices are currently, it's usually a pick and chose kind of thing. I started shopping Meijer about 2 months ago. Buying just sale items has helped our household drastically!!! I usually get everything I need there. Anythung else we need I price compare. The store is always super clean, staff friendly, and my kiddos are happy to get extra snacks! 100% recommend!

Michigan made goods, fresh-enough deli, and usually has most things in stock. It's been hit or miss lately, and I've had to make multiple grocery stores stops while Meijer always used to be my one stop shop. It's nice for finding niche Michigan items, but there are better stores in the area for fresh produce and low prices.

Absolutely love Meijer stores! They have the best selection of the freshest fruits and vegetables. You can complete your entire shopping list in one stop having a great variety of food, home goods, appliances, clothing, and pharmacy and health care goods.

I like shopping at Meijer. They have almost everything you can think of, and then some. The employees aer very nice. We are always greeted with a smile and a hello. How are you. they have good deals. One of the best parts of shopping there is checking out, the bagging areas aisle large enough to put all of your bagged groceries on, and there are always employees there to help if needed. They also have curbside pick up, which is easy to use and fast, and They load everything for you. The only downside is that some of their prices are a bit higher, but it's top quality. I'm a firm believer in you get what you pay for. Overall I recommend shopping there

Deli associates need some more training or need to apply their training in the workplace. Because 2/12 morning at 8:45am an employee came from somewhere in the store and went to grabbing gloves without even washing his hands. I asked him did he mind washing his hands and he said sure. After washing his hands and using the lever with his bare hands to release the paper towels he then dried his hands. There should be an automatic paper towel dispenser. He’s recontaminating his hands by touching the lever. Mind you that was the quickest handwashing I’ve ever seen in my life, but I was relieved when he grabbed new gloves afterwards. Anyhow, the LOL American cheese I wanted wasn’t behind the case so he had to walk around and get it from the front of the case. He lifted the glass up and grabbed it and walked back there without even changing his gloves. He started peeling the packaging off and touching each slice I was disgusted, that’s why I never get food from the deli. I shouldn’t have to remind a grown man about safe food handling. I’ve been in food services my whole life and now I’m into the healthcare field so I naturally notice everything. I notice when employees touch their hair, ear, nose, or hat. Even when they cough without covering their mouths. Employees working around food need to be very cognizant of what they’re doing with their hands and germs overall for proper safe food handling and stop being lazy and careless. There’s all kinds of people in this world, even people whom are immunocompromised to be considerate of. & if employees can’t they should be in another department or field. Rant over.

The shopping was fine but I purposely parked my vehicle way out so I can walk into the store only 1 vehicle was in front of me & was still there when I returned. What do I find a shopping cart Rammed into the back of my vehicle so hard that it was wedged underneath. Very frustrating because there are so many places to put it so it had to have, WELL I Just don't know how it got there. I had to Pride out. That's very frustrating.

Clean and good deals. The only thing i noticed is i weighed a bag of apples at the fruit scale got the ticket and then when i went to the self checkout the scale doubled the weight and charged more. The cashier was great and fixed this but just a heads up.

Meijers has a nice selection of fresh fruits and vegetables. Many unusual and hard to find. Actually, some other foods also. Overall I find meijers quite expensive across the board.

Not enough employees lately it seems like there's hardly anyone working there and the ones that are seem to be very incompetent, And not very friendly or happy. I don't believe I will be shopping at Meijers anymore! It used to be one of my favorite places to shop but as of lately it isn't anymore for myself and many other people I know. Something needs to be done.

Do not use the home delivery service unless you have all day. I have tried the home deilvrery twice. You select your delivery time, each time my requested time was pushed back 5 or more hours. So I had to cancel my plans to wait for the delivery. Sucks when I was hoping for 9am and didn't get it until after 2pm.They do have a good selection of products.

Always a very pleasant shopping experience. The I was really struggling with my bags to the car and Joey, one of them maintainace gentlemen grabbed them and took them to my car for me. It was very much appreciated. The cashier's are always helpful as well. I'm so happy to have Meijer around. I can't stand going to Walmart, but like that type of one stop shopping, so Meijer is a great part of our city.
