Absolutely delightful hotel half a block off the IAT. Taxidermy in the lobby but the incredibly kind employee helped me get around it and let me do the paperwork in the pool area to accommodate my phobia. Clean rooms, standard amenities plus a microwave and mini-fridge, tv with Roku. No coffee maker in the room. One block from downtown. Two blocks from the library. Absolutely ideal unplanned stop on the IAT due to snow. Loved it.

The front entrance was super cute with stuffed wildlife. Instantly loved the environment. I had room 220 on the second floor and I was pleased with how quiet it was. The parking lot was full and when I woke up, there were no cars in the lot and I hadn't heard any commotion in or outside. I booked my room two days in advance for a fair price of $107. Cheapest one around with a huge event going on. Only mild complaint was there was some trash under the beds and some flies on the ceiling but the room was clean and the sheets smelled good so I honestly didn't mind. I had a better experience at this motel than I did with most name brand hotels.

Stay average to below average. The hotels in a good location along the highway and theres a gas station beside it. Attached to the hotel is the Red Maple Restaurant which is absolutely amazing. The food there is beyond fair price. The town of Luck has a couple great restaurants, grocery store, pharmacy, dollar general, and a nice picnic area by Big Butternut Lake. What bothered me the most was the bedspread and blanket along with the pillows were not washed or even put in the dryer. The sheets I assume were changed. The beds were in rough shape. Mattresses were sagging deeply in the middle and the box springs had large brown stains on the side. Very old bed set. Phone, lamps, dressers, nightstand and regular hotel furniture looks like was still there from the beginning of when the hotel opened. We wore our footwear in the room due to the condition of the carpet. $120 a night in our opinion is way too much for a room. They did some remodeling in the past year around the front desk and a couple other areas but not the rooms where remodeling should be done primarily because guests should come first. After all a hotel is there to accommodate people with a comfortable, clean, like home feel at a fair price. It seems some places forget this. So try your luck at the Luck Hotel.

I saw this was 2 star rated, but I think maybe people were expecting the Ritz in the middle of nowhere Wisconsin. Not gonna happen. Rooms are decent sized with nice beds, working air and mini fridge. I'd stay here again if I'm up this way.Rooms: Rooms are older, but well furnished with working A/C, mini fridge and conveniently located next to the pool. After a long day fighting road construction, closures and rude drivers, it's absolutely wonderful.Food & drinks: No vending machines for drinks, so have to ring the front desk for soda. Reasonably priced but rather inconvenient.

Decent pricing. Rooms not to bad, aged but clean. Services were all great, staff, phone reservations.Noteworthy details: Front clerk pleasant and informative doing with my stay. Conveniently located for my doings. Very Nice to find a place that isn't so crazy high priced for a place to sleep. I would definitely stay again.

The bed was pretty comfortable, the AC worked, and it had an updated lock. There was hair on the towels, and the whole place felt old and grimy. It is in dire need of some renovations. I wouldn't choose to stay here again if I had other options.

This place was ice cold outside the room. The price was 82.21 after taxes. This is the most I've paid for this quality. I wanted to be able to take my granddaughter swimming. It was so cold & dingy & the place looks like it hasn't been updated since it was built. The mattresses either. I'm very concerned about staying here due to disgust. I didn't shower here & wouldn't habe stayed if I hadn't already given them my card info. It is a foreigner & I asked for toiletries & laughed at me and said I could go to the gas station. DON'T GO HERE! If I could give negative stars I would.

We visit Luck Country Inn every year for a family gathering and I must say that I am impressed with some of the improvements that they have made in the past year. In the past, there was always a mold/mildew smell in all of the rooms. Even though I have a very sensitive nose, I could not smell it in the room this year. If you have allergies, the pool area does still have a mold/mildew smell. Showers are nice and have nice water pressure. The property has faster internet and more selection for cable channels as compared to last year. Even though the property and furniture is not new, the property is very well maintained and staff go out of their way to make sure that you are happy. On top of everything else, the prices are very reasonable.

We booked a 2 bed queen room, but were put in a 2 double room which was significantly smaller than the queen option, but was charged the same price. The overnight front desk person was difficult to work with. The pool and hot tub was nice, which was about the only redeeming quality to the hotel. The second room that was book for our party had ants in it, and when we approached the overnight clerk, he asked if we brought them in! We had to get the room changed for the second night, but was only given a very small discount for the first night. Not impressed with how it is managed. Hopefully our experience there is an isolated incident.

Well I would of given them a higher rating. But the room with the jacuzzi the door lock didn't work. Moved to the other side of the motel to a regular room. Only to have some men hanging just out side the windows drinking. This is a single floor place. Very damp inside. Because of the indoor pool.

We stay here every year for Mother's day weekend so we can be close to my sisters house and the kids can swim. It is the only motel with a pool near by which is why we stay and pay the price of the rooms. The rooms and décor are outdated and mismatched which doesn't bother me but for the price, I would hope one day they update the rooms. The pool area is lacking. The lining in both the pool and hot tub have needed work for decades, yes decades. It doesn't stop us from using them but in order to charge what they do for the rooms, I would think updating these things would bring more people back. The area itself is cute small town. Nice little local bar, cute towns (Luck, Frederick, and Milltown) The people in the area are great so the staff at the hotel are as well! Very friendly. They also allow pets which is huge plus as we don't stay anywhere that won't take in our entire family.

We’ve been going to the hotel for three years, renting 10 plus rooms, plus the conference room to celebrate NYE with a group. The hotel is dirty and the service isn’t great, but the price is decent. This year we left an item behind and asked them to mail it to us, I offered to pay for shipping. We live two hours away. They said they don’t offer that service and to come pick it up. “Maybe I have a friend that lives closer.” This is unacceptable in the hospitality industry. Also, our room smelled of cat pee, the freezer had old food droppings in it, and the bathroom had cow webs all over the ceiling.

Awesome!!!! It isn't the fanciest place ,but it's clean, comfortable and homey. They allow dogs so our little guy was able to come with. There is a nice and CLEAN pool and hot tub, with a nice sitting area. Affordable and friendly

The outside entrance looks updated and nice. It's an older hotel on the inside, at least my area. Everything worked and the bed was comfortable. That's exactly what I needed and that's exactly what I got.I recommend this as an A-OK place for a good night's rest.

Luck Country Inn is a great place for an overnight. I believe they are the only hotel in town, so it's also mist likely your only choice. For a small town hotel, it's just fine. The rooms are adequate. The beds are ok. I brought my own pillow, so I didn't use the hotel pillows. Ideally, the building could use some TLC, but again, if you're the only hotel around, you get what you get. I've stayed here twice with my mom and sisters. I plan to stay again next year when we have our annual girls weekend.

Family owned and they really are working hard. If you don't like something ask about it and they'll fix it. Kind of a retro, check out the light up board in the lobby, very 1970s Cool. Also I had windows that actually opened.

It was an ok place to stay. And prices reasonable. The only problem was, had to deal with broken sink handle, and room didn't seam to be as clean as it should have been. Found a plastic spoon under the bed. And lamps were broken.

Very easy going helpful staff. Decent accommodations but a lil too spendy for the condition of furniture. Upon inspection we discovered the bedding had not been changed by housekeeping staff.

Dirty, overpaid us for what they quoted us on the phone, when we called 20 minutes before arriving. They were very rude about it and demanded us they pay there rate of $30 over what they quoted us on the phone $20 minutes prior. We we're alright with the $59.99 they said on the phone. We get there, pay $30 more, there was trash in a bin in the room, one of the beds wasn't made, when we asked about it they said bed wasn't made, and we asked if they were clean, and they said no, but they looked dirty.

Just the sort of pleasant experience I would expect from an independent hotel. The staff was friendly and the facilities were well kept. I would definitely stay here again next time I'm in the area.

The rooms feel old and dated and could really use some renovation to bring everything into the modern age. The pool area, however, is beautiful and perfect the way it is.
