Store is nice and clean great selection I do have to say the pig is kinda expensive in prices but will continue to shop here because of how close it is to sunrise valley it’s great not to travel but at the same time if your low income it it really eats your ebt fast some months

Decent store, but staff attire and hygiene for a lot have gotten horrible. A lot of staff being unshowered and ungroomed. No matching uniformity with uniforms or shoes. Shirts untucked. Clothes look unwashed. This is the Lancaster, WI location. There use to be uniformity and hight standards.

Enjoy the deli staff. Super helpful and sweet.The kids love finding grandma nice flowers and plants. I appreciate everyone who helps load up groceries in the car.

Small Town grocery where everyone knows everyone... never really busy and the food quality is great!I did have a issue with the cashier not trained or anyone else either not knowing how to use my healthy benefits card and didn't even attempt to try and wanted me to leave without any groceries with a.".. sorry about that". .nope I said today yr gonna learn and had to literally teach the cashier how to punch in the numbers cause there's zero way I was going home empty handed...🤨

Horrible experience, rude and inappropriate staff. I went there the other day to buy groceries for my home, I knew the exact balance on my debit card right before I went into the store, the card was declined. I went all the way home to get my check book, that was declined, I check my account again nothing was wrong. It was a hard enough situation trying to figure out what was wrong and one older staff lady with white hair and glasses was very rude when speaking to me when it was obvious I was crying and trying to gather myself. And there was a younger male staff member who was very inappropriate around my little sister and I. He was being heavily flirtatious with both of us and when he helped unload our items on to the belt again he was trying to be as close as possible to either of us it was very inappropriate and creepy especially since my little sister is under age. When my fiance came later to the store to try the card again it worked we didnt change or do anything so whatever happened and everything that happened was because of the store and their rude and very inappropriate staff. Last I knew it was a grocery store not a farmyard. Disgusting all around.

Prices are ridiculous but there is a Walmart in Platteville so I guess that’s good wish the hours were open longer but there’s take home cook meals are delicious better than the restaurants out here just ate there carnitas never had better then piggly wiggly

I love the store. I used to work there years ago. Only one comment...lack of eye contact and greetings from employees, especially the younger ones. Old motto: Give them a smile and a "Hi"! Makes them feel welcome and appreciated! I know I feel that way. I don't like feeling invisible!

It's the only store in town and it is run well enough. However, I wish they would be better employers so people would stick around. The turnover of employees is astonishing. Pay a decent living wage, a few benefits, and give each employee the hours they need and want, and they will happily stay with you and work hard.

The only reason this place does any business is because it is the only option within 20 minutes. Produce is bad most times. Prices are higher than even most mom and pop places. They can't even figure out how to keep the deli open to slice meat and cheese late enough for people who work even 9-5/8-4, so for people who work 12 hr shifts, too bad so sad. I'm not a fan of Walmart, but at this point it is more than worth the drive. Heck I'll start making the 30-40 minute drive to Hy-Vee.

Of all the Piggly Wiggly stores I've been in (maybe 6) this one in Lancaster is tops! Smaller than some, but very well laid out. Nice carts, spacious, very clean, just a warm and welcoming atmosphere. I wish I lived in this town and could frequent here.

Visited the store on a Sunday evening...one checkout open - at the service counter. S-L-O-W! And no place to put your groceries if you have more than 3-4 item. The store was clean!

No fresh seafood. And the frozen fish and shrimp are sourced from Asian farms with questionable standards for hygiene. Why 5 stars then? Because employees are super friendly and helpful, routinely going out of their ways to help you. And there are great sales items no matter what day you stop by. If they could only stock some fresh trout and walleye and gulf shrimp, even if only now and then! That would make me very happy.

Just threw out two newly bought avocados. This Piggly Wiggly is still a circus of hit & miss rotten produce. Cheese (expired) and seafood is usually questionable as well. I think the manager must find vendors with spoiled food to be sold at a discount to the store. Lucky customers. At least they’re consistent in scamming the public.

This place has almost no vegan options not to mention they're very transphobic and have no gender neutral bathroom I've worked there for years literally and the people there are very temperamental if you have any other possible way of shopping someplace else I would suggest doing that
