We love this vet. Our old vet in Watertown was a high stress environment and they didn’t do a good job. This vet clinic is a total game changer. Everyone who works here has low stress handling training and they are all so compassionate! Our dog doesn’t stress at all when we take her in, even though she had all her vaccines, which normally are high stress for a dog.We also took a puppy preschool class and our instructor, Emily was so fun and helpful. It was a great experience and our puppy went from timid barking to totally comfortable in only 5 weeks.Definitely recommend this vet. Five stars!

The best care, doctors, and techs. I couldn’t be happier with the care my dog has received here the past couple years. Dr Stork and Dr Wilder have been so helpful and patient with us, and are happy to answer any questions we have. Becky is such a great tech and goes out of her way to treat our dog like her own.

I could not be happier with this Clinic. I had an emergency with my cat and they were able to get her in same day, even though we weren't existing customers. The staff was phenomenal, incredibly empathetic and helpful. Planning on switching to them becoming my pets' primary care. Staff that truly cares about the pets and owners.

Lake Mills Veterinary Clinic is wonderful. The staff is always friendly, helpful, understanding, and compassionate. They have realistic expectations for how animals may act during appointments. They go the extra mile and reach out to see how your dog is doing the day after a procedure. They genuinely care for the fur babies!They also have "Happy Visits" which are intended to make your animal comfortable at the vet. At any time you can stop by the vet for free, get your animal weighed, let them take a look around, get treats, and feel more comfortable with the staff. My dog is excited to go to the vet for this reason!

Trust is everything when it comes to quality vet care and never in 1000 years would I think we would find a vet clinic that was so accommodating and understanding of pets with different needs and not just take our money. Our pup Whiskey was a rescue with some behavioral issues that made us nervous on handing new situations. We had a family friend recommend that we chat with Mittsy, within 2 minutes of meeting she had started developing a plan on how to address our concerns and our pups fear, along with approaching future vet care. She developed a plan for numerous situations that we continued to learn and execute in the coming months. When I tell you that our pup loves coming to the vet now, or even working with the behavioralist I am not lying. We have since been able to do new introductions with our pup without issue and get him the best possible vet care. This clinic is 100% based on patient comfort and when I tell you our dog is comfortable coming here, I mean that. Forever grateful for Mittsy and Dr. Stork.

I love everything about this clinic. Dr Stork is the single best vet I've ever met. He took amazing care of our kitty until her final moments with us. And, he was pretty great with us humans as well. You know they say if you don't feel comfortable, then move on to the next vet, but it was instant comfortable. The receptionist and nurses, and doctors are so nice and knowledgeable there. They have a different technique on handling your animal than other vets. This is the God honest truth, I HIGHLY recommend you go to the Lake Mills Veterinary clinic before you go anywhere else!! I'm from Fort Atkinson, and it's worth the drive knowing your pet is in good hands. They also know and understand and will work with you during our hard financial times. Just be honest with them as they are honest with you. Their responding time is remarkable. They also have an app for your phone for Android or Apple Iphone's that make things a lot easier and less stressful. Please take my word for this and call them up. I cannot recommend this place enough. Dr. Stork is unparalleled in his knowledge for your four-legged best friend. After having a poor experience at another provider, we found our way to Dr. Stork who helped diagnose our former Golden’s cancer. Though the cancer had progressed too far by the time we found him, we won’t take our current dogs anywhere else now. We have since moved out of Lake Mills and drive over an hour to see him because no other vet compares.In addition to our Golden, we have a very scared rescue. The staff at Lake Mills Vet Clinic is incredible with him. Making him feel as comfortable as possible. They have a behaviorist on staff who has helped our boy overcome so many fears. Seriously, if you want to make sure your pets are taken care of - you found the place.

The best clinic in the area and well worth the drive! Was recommended to go here by a friend and I'm so glad I brought my puppy here, I took a near 30 minute drive every time and it was well worth it. From the moment I entered the doors the staff was very nice and caring for both me and my pet. The doctors take time answering any questions you have and do a great job of explaining things in understandable terms. My puppy had some digestion issues when I first got him and they did an amazing job making sure he was in the right path to recovery, from diagnosis to medicine right down to what diet I should feed him. They went above and beyond by even giving me a follow up call to check in on Chester. From the doctor's, to the techs, to the front end workers and everyone in between I always knew my pet was in the best care.

We had a great experience from beginning to the end with Lake Mills Veterinary Clinic! Doctor Gregg Stephan did an amazing job in performing a surgery on our dog to remove a mammary gland tumor. We can't thank enough Dr.Stephan and his staff for their medical knowledge, caring and attentive attitude, business integrity and excellent customer service! We are highly recommending this place to anybody in need of veterinary care.

Really great experience! Our cat, Mr. Mistoffelees, was a stray so we were unsure of his health status, what the cost of care would be, etc. We were also very stressed (including Mr. Mistoffelees!) about the vet visit and what to expect. We were very pleasantly surprised with how responsive and thorough the staff was via e-mail (they quoted us some possible prices on the shots/tests he would need) and the staff and Dr. Stork were very calm and relaxed, which was helpful for my husband and I and Mr. Mistoffelees who left the vet much less stressed than he did going in. They are also accessible and have a lot of options when it comes to appointments, which is SO helpful! They also took time to answer all of our questions and were very sweet to our little Purrito.

The puppy school came highly recommended, however it was a waste of time and rather ridiculous. The areas I needed to learn how to train this puppy, like walking, counter surfing and biting were never talked about. And the theory of having a puppy try to put all 4 Paws into a box lid is ridiculous. And I will make sure to put the word out on this puppy school that it us a waste of time and money

First time pet owner and I’m very impressed with how well things were run here! To check in, we called the front desk from our car and they said as we make our way in, they would clear a room for us so we didn’t have to wait in the waiting room. The vet was very personable and informative which was perfect for someone who doesn’t necessarily know a lot about their specific pet. Would definitely recommend to any pet owner!

Love the staff, I met there behavioralist at the Jefferson humane society workshops. Our dog has never had good experiences at the vet even for a check up. He was lethargic and throwing up so we drove 80mi round trip just to see them. They did everything slow and made sure he was comfortable and not scared at all times. When the very came in she even had a treat if soft food for him if he wanted it as a friend offering.It's I drive from Janesville but I highly recommend them it's worth it.(They are also cheaper then Janesville and accept Care Credit)

He's so kind, patient, and provides such a stress free experience each and every time. The front desk staff and Vet Techs are amazing. The team has always been very responsive to our pets needs. They are always willing to talk through questions, fit you in for a visit, and have amazing follow through. I have had a couple unexpected events with one of our pooches. Both times I have had the vet follow up with calls and check-ins. I have had several different vets due to relocations and would say they are the best yet.

I had heard many great things about Lake Mills Veterinary Clinic and even though they were 'out of town' for me I decided to give them a shot with our new puppy. I met with Dr. Stork and Kelly and they were both absolutely amazing, knowledgable, kind and welcoming. When Dr. Stork came in, he sat down and really took the time to get to know me, talk with me, and answer all of the questions I had, same with Kelly! It didn't feel like the traditional rushed appointment. My puppy was so comfortable with both of them that he even took a nap in the room at the end of the appointment. I would highly recommend them to anyone!

I love being able to take my pets to Lake Mills Veterinary Clinic. The prices are very reasonable and they are always happy to answer questions over the phone and help schedule last minute appointments. Both doctors are very kind, and you can tell how much everyone in the office loves animals.
