I went there today and got a Bottlehouse Farms smoothie and sushi. The sushi was delicious, and the food court was welcoming, but the smoothie had mold in the cap. Initially, I thought it could just be a seed, but it wasn't, and the top 1/3rd of the drink was almost completely solid, yet the expiration date is a month from now. I recommend you guys to make sure to keep drinks at the proper temp!

The store is clean, well lit, and has a nice variety of products, restaurants, and departments to explore. The aisles are pretty well-signed, welcoming, and provide a decent variety of products. Generally speaking, staff are helpful and knowledgeable. Not knowing the store that well, I would like to see a (locator) list of common consumer items found in the store at the ends of some aisles to help with locating products. Lots of sale items, which are generally marked. The rest of the items are priced competitively. This place kind of lost me at the checkout aisle. Limited cashiers available. Self-checkout stations are available, but found overseers a little bit less than helpful and friendly. I'm not overly impressed for this reason and am weighing whether I want to continue investing my time and energy here.

Great store and their Aisles Online shopping/pickup is fantastic. Their personal shoppers are excellent and always do a great job on communicating with any questions on your order. The in-store product selections are great - tried and true brands, but then you can find artisan breads, and more.

Excellent customer service. Wide variety of food and drinks. The Deli had a great variety of food to go, and the back area with the Alcohol had the widest selection I have seen in a grocery store. Outside at the gas station... following their customer service, there was a sign for pregnant women and handicapped. Ring the bell,and someone will be out to assist with filling the tank. Outstanding!

This store is nothing less than awesome. We went to the store on 12/31/23 to pick up live lobsters. Unfortunately, there was a mix-up. Jason and Cole more than made up for it. They were the best! It reminded me of the days of my hometown grocery store growing up. The pride and making it right with the customer is unmatched. We'll definitely be back!

Great liquor department, great experience. Prices are high, but you get quality for it. I enjoyed my first time at Hy-Vee in Onalaska. Love that you can try the Bourbon before making the selection! I bought 3 different bottles!

Not your normal Hy-Vee. Almost like a mini-mall of a grocery store. It has a food court, attached Walburgers, Starbucks, a large bakery, a Charcuterie section and deli. It has quite a large health foods section with protein powders and bars. The candy isle is larger than any normal grocery store and has a larger selection. It has a full-size liquor store attached with it's own small room with cigars. Also a huge wine selection. If I lived in th area I'd probably come here often.

Wow what a great set up! You can grab a bite to eat before you go shopping and everything looked great. Meat department was amazing. I’m pretty sure they have everything in this store to make whatever you want to make to eat. Going to stop here more often when in town.

First timer going to HY-VEE.Was surprised at all the hot food stations you could purchase from. As well as walbugers sports bar and spirits.The fresh seafood selection was great and well displayed.Fresh meat case was fantastic. We bought some pork ribeyes with BBQ injection, had them last night,outstanding. Also bought hickory bacon 4.99 LB thick cut,outstanding. Chicken was on special legs only .99cents LB.Store is set up in sections kind of spread out from what I'm use to. But it worked.Staff was very friendly and helpful,At check out we used the HY-VEE rewards,that we signed up for before entered store. That was also great as we earned $2.21 off on gas up to 20 gals. That was $ 45 dollar bounce for us,as we needed gas.All in All we will be back.Much nicer and more well staffed than competitors.Thanks for a great shopping experience.Michael Cwikla

This is the worst grocery store I ‘ve ever been! They lied to customers and I don’t trust them anymore! I will not come back in my life time! I think hy vee soon will be out of business!

Love doing my grocery shopping at this store. Everything is always so organized and their employees are helpful, friendly, and nice. I had a pleasant experience at the deli department and with their manager Jake. Thanks for helping me with the pasta Jake : )

I love this store! You can do your daily shopping here as well as find your specialty items. They have a full food court as well as catering. If they don't have what you need, you only have to request it and they will most likely get it for you!

This a Hyvee is amazing, love it. Huge. Tesla/electric car charging station..because everyone uses that..? Actually kinda bogus it’s in the front parking spots-ever empty. What about senior citizens? Expecting mothers? Handicapped individuals? Tesla drivers can walk just fine from the back of the lot-reduce their carbon footprint a little more 😁😁 just a thought..

I was shopping at the La Crosse store today with my son with disabilities. He only has a select few things that he really likes to eat. We have a WIC benefit card that I have had issues with the last couple of times. The site tells you what you have left for points to use on certain items. Everything except two things should have been covered. I was in no hurry and was pleased with how the cashier handled this. We tried a few times to fix this, but couldn’t figure it out. A manager (Tom) came to help and was determined to solve this while remaining calm and apologized multiple times. I explained this is not your fault, and I appreciate you looking into it. After trying about ten times we got almost all the items covered after removing some. The only item that wasn’t covered was yogurt which he pulled out his personal card and paid for while saying this is the one item he really needs. I had mentioned at the beginning that yogurt, milk, and bread were the only things I really came in for that my son needed. I was getting the other things because the wic site said we had points, but wasn’t in dire need of them yet. I hope that Tom gets the recognition he deserves and the other employees too. I was very impressed how everyone handled this situation when it really wasn’t their fault at all. Thank You for the ballon for my son while he waited for us and Thank You Tom for the Yogurt!

I won't shop there anymore they nickel dime everything by doing $4.99 and $10 and never spent over $336 for 1 cart of food not worth it,could of got 2 carts at Woodman's for that price ,i seen no big savings join the club saved nothing bye bye Hy-Vee,back to woodmans to save my money sad store dont like it at all .😞

Super Bowl Sunday and 10 of your 14 self check out lanes are closed!!! What’s the point of having so many self check out lanes if you’re not going to use them?? Can’t blame lack of staffing on this issue

It's worth a visit if you need to add some steps towards your daily goal, but you're going to pay more for everything. If you like the idea of shopping after a few beers, skip Walburger, tailgate at Wal-Mart, and save 30% on your grocery trip. Are there enough weathy folks in Onalaska to support these prices?

Store is great. Some of the food is great. But the last two times we’ve gotten pizza it’s taken well over an hour, ending in them completely botching the pizzas. They let people ahead of our order and even looked at us while they knew we were left waiting. It’s like they knew they were screwing it up and didn’t want to do better.

I ordered my groceries for pickup and I was waiting longer than I expected to, so the store gave me free cookies to make up for it! Great customer service and the guy who loaded my groceries in my car was also very efficient and kind! Thank you for your catering to each of your customers! Goes a long way!!
