I decided the night before that I was gonna wake up bright an early and to that thought, I did. I came here at open and the two people working were very friendly and greeted me as I walked in. It was a cozy little shop where I was able to knock out a ton of school work and ended up staying till right about 9am! Definitely recommend this place, and I forgot to mention the food and coffee was 🔥

Drinks are great. The espresso is yummy. I have been getting the Mayan mocha lately, and it's on point. This is one of the few places I have found the Mayan mocha listed. The bakery items are always fresh and delicious. The seating here is very comfy, a good place to spend time studying. The service is great too! Very friendly and clean.

The patio is nice, the breakfast sandwiches are delicious and well priced. However, our third time visiting this establishment, the service was not on par. The gentleman at the register was talking for quite some time with a guest in front of us, it seemed to be he knew her personally. However, I was waiting with my toddler son, so I didn't appreciate him taking his time to have a lengthy conversation before taking my order. Then, once my order was placed we sat down at the booth. The same gentleman proceeded to clean the windows with Lysol, right next to us. This is a product that I am extremely sensitive to as I have chronic migraines. This forced me and my small child to sit out on the patio in order to get fresh air, despite it being chilly. My recommendation to the business would be to keep personal conversations brief, as well as to clean windows before opening hours. Also, on a last note-- the cheesecake brownie that was recommended reminded me of a pastry that I ate many times in an MRE package when I was in the Marine Corps. Would not get a pastry again for that reason. Wish they had croissants.

I've been waiting for this place to open and I FINALLY got time to stop by and try it out. I am so impressed with everything! I was hesitant about the tomato schmutz on the Bagelwich but it's sweet and delicious. The Bizwich was savory with a touch of spice, but still in the realm of breakfast flavors. I also had the River Root Latte with oat milk, and at this point I feel like I'm repeating myself but it was incredible as well. Can't wait to go back! (Also cute, locally printed shirts!)Parking: Parking garage nearby, some hours are free. I have been eagerly awaiting their presence in La Crosse! They were definitely worth the drive across the river, but now grateful to be able to walk to them downtown La Crosse.They are a much needed and appreciated business in the downtown community expanding our offerings of local and organic cuisine - that is always packed with flavor!I will always support free range exchange because I see how they support other local businesses and the community. Job well done!
