I have put in a couple of applications to adopt a dog from Patty's Paws. All questions about me my home and qualifications about giving a good home to a pet have been answered honestly and with integrity. With the same results, I don't get an answer or the dog or dogs I have inquiries about have been adopted. I have had pets in the past all strays, they have been well taken care of. All my pets have lived a long life and died from old age. My Sullivan veterinary hospital knows my story well. A last parting shot. Just wondering if you write your own reviews.

My experience with Paddy's Paws was excellent. They want to set up the right dog with the right people/environment so the process is very detailed which is great. You know you're getting a dog that will fit with your lifestyle and one that will be happy in your home. They were very responsive and honest- high integrity and ethics in this organization. Our dog is perfect and there were no surprises with her behavior. We knew exactly what we were getting.

I had the best experience ever though Paddy's Paws! It took a little time to get a virtual visit scheduled, but it's understandable as I'm out of their immediate area, and I know they're so busy right now. I was approved very quickly after that, and received immediate responses when I requested information about a dog on the website. Everyone was so nice and answered all of my questions, and it was so easy to meet and pick him up. He also already knew some basic commands and had been crate trained. I would highly recommend this rescue for all of those reasons and more. Thanks Paddy's!

Excellent service, from start to finish! We were sooooo impressed with our adoption, from the application and home visit through meeting the foster parents and bringing our new pup home, that we wanted to learn more about Paddy's Paws.They are all-volunteer and send all the adoption money back to the initial rescues in Houston, TX. When they're ready, a variety of pups come to WI on transports about twice a month, and are lovingly tended and carefully matched with their new families.You'll receive your dog's medical data (professionally up-to-date), and so much expert information to prepare you to manage your new pup's transition...and Paddy's Paws will always be available for you, to answer questions and help you with ANYTHING canine-related!This is really the most impressive rescue organization we've encountered. (And we should know: we've adopted three more 4-legged family members from Paddy's Paws over the past few years!) They are entirely heart-centered and focused on finding the best homes for their dogs!

All the dogs are fostered in homes so you really get to know their personality before committing and all the staff were super helpful with finding the right fit for my family. Paddy’s Paws is a wonderful dog rescue. The program is volunteer-run and foster-based with amazing people doing great work to give dogs-in-need the care and love they deserve. Paddy’s Paws puts great emphasis on educating the community and adopters and on finding the best, appropriate placement for each of their dogs. We love volunteering and fostering with Paddy’s Paws and have loved each of our foster pups dearly.

I have been fortunate enough to adopt two dogs from this rescue. I got my first dog in October of 2016 as a pup. I witnessed so the love and support of everyone that I volunteered to be a foster for more dogs. And I adopted a second dog, she is 5 years old a short time ago. Imagine this-- I look so forward to each new transfer of dogs from Texas. I am like a kid waiting for them to get here, so we get to cuddle them and introduce to maybe the future family they will join

Requiring elderly customers that don’t have access or knowledge of cell phones or computers and printers to “find a way” to open and print word documents and read online articles. No exceptions.Refusing to send documents via snail mail and forcing an adoption to halt. No exceptions.If the adoption happened, they micromanage the adopters with required vet visits and puppy training classes after adoption. What makes them think that adopters wouldn’t go to their vet normally or that they don’t have experience training dogs? Maybe a recommendation would be better than a requirement? No exceptions.This company isn’t willing to try their best to get dogs adopted.
