This store is a disaster. I went to this location during the grand opening and it was nice (except for the store associate shoving cupcakes down his throat at the chckout). I went again on 7/17/19 and it was a complete mess (worse than my previous visit 7/9/19). The entry was almost blocked with boxes of product. The aisles were blocked with boxes and carts of products. There was an elderly woman with a cart that could not get through aisles. A very heavy set women had difficulty and knocked over boxes. I counted 7 employees on hand which makes the store condition inexcusable. Two employees were discussing in a loud tone the unreliability of another associate. I took several pictures of the blocked aisles and several product displays in complete disarray. While standing in line to check out I observed the customer ahead of me being checked out. The cashier knocks over two sodas onto the floor. No apology, no offer to pick them up, no offer to get different ones for him. The customer w as lks back snd gets new soda on his own. This was definitely the most reluctant $4 I have ever spent. It's disappointing as it is in a convenient neighborhood location. I wont hesitate to drive out of my way to avoid this store.

Prices on shelves dont match what rings up at check out. When error pointed out I got major attitude. Price on shelf was $1.50 item rang up $3.15. I said I dont want it. I grabbed a different brand. Clerk had trouble voiding item. Had to get Manager? some scruffy unkempt looking man to come to register. He made his annoyance very well known. I said if shelf price matched the item over price there wouldnt be an issue. There were many of that item on the shelf so its not a case of a customer setting 1 item back in wrong spot. The store either stocked the item in the wrong spot or put wrong price on the shelf. Mistakes happen I know, but if I choose not to buy it at the higher price I shouldnt be treated poorly by the employee. When transaction done I said I wanted receipt which further annoyed the manager . Went to grab bag to leave and the clerk had put the item I did not pay for in the bag. Glad I noticed. I gave it back to her. Said thank you.The whole experience was a negative. Even though it is only a couple of blocks from my home I wont be back. Will shop somewhere else .

I was discriminated by a worker from family dollar in Janesville due to my disability. I was harassed by an older lady by telling me that I go there a lot and not buying anything. I should not come anymore unless if I need to buy something even though I did not steal anything or go there a lot. She did not have the right to discriminate me. Everyone has the right to shop or to look around whenever they need something. If any workers that treated any one that way, they will lose the customers and they will get bankrupt which is bad for any managers. I’m not going to deal with this until I’m allow to shop. Just letting everyone knows, I do not appreciate it.

Not a happy experience. It's 8:10am and they are supposed to be open. The lights are on and there's a car parked in the lot. No one is answering the phone. I came here to get medicine for my sick nephew. This is the closet place to where he lives. Now I have to drive further away because this place isn't open on time. I come here all the time but will probably avoid coming here for awhile after this experience. This is incredibly unprofessional.

Stopped by at 9:30 am said they opened at 8 online and on the door However store was closed no sign on the door saying they wouldn’t be opened today either

Usually has what I need, good variety, and can be a quick stop. Can find awesome deals. Typically I leave with more than what's on my list. Can't leave five stars because the bathrooms were absolutely filthy, unusable. I'm scarred for life, and my kids probably also hah.

I'm suprised this store still standing after the pandemic and recession currently in anyway this store is very well stocked and has great employees willing to help you find what you need

Not a store I would recommend going to The GM is allowing ASM to work while sick and running a fever for over a week and TELLS NO ONE ABOUT IT. This is from a former ASM who just quit!!! FYI this was the week of October 3rd 2021

This is my local store because it's conveniently located on my way home from work. It's clean for the most part but the staff could be a bit friendlier and I wish they would take their smoke breaks in the back, not out in front of the store right by the entrance.

Family dollar is great place to just grab convenient necessities for house, car and quick grab and go items. Always stocked( aleast tries their best) Great staff. Always willing to assist you.

Whats the point of having a sign up saying masks are mandatory even though they let people in the store with out one and the employees aren't wearing one half the time especially the store MANAGER.
