Customer started being aggressive despite their being in the wrong but the staff handled it extremely well and continued providing excellent to other waiting customers.Kid-friendliness: Our family and specifically our daughter is a frequent visitor to this establishment and they are warm and friendly to her and have made unprompted efforts to accommodate her gluten allergy and candy preferences.

Friendly staff! Huge selection of Chocolate Shoppe ice cream, which is made right here in Wisconsin. I tried the Ice Cream Nachos, 2 ice cream choices, two sauces, and two toppings of your choice surrounded by waffle cone chips in a banana boat, all topped with whipped cream and cherry. Amazing! They also had a nostalgic candy selection, and I will be going back for their cheesecake on a stick. They look delicious. 😍

The store was very clean and the employees were friendly and helpful. They have a ton of different ice cream flavors which our kids thought was super cool. It wasn't busy and they gave us many samples of all the flavors. Choosing a single cone/dish gives you a reasonable amount of ice cream. I personally feel the prices are high.

Chocolate shoppe is some of the best ice cream you can get! I have found it at random shops around the state line. This is the ONLY dedicated store without being in Madison.This location has so many more flavor and treat options than the other smaller vendors. If you love ice cream, and like new and fun flavor combos, this is the spot to be. Be warned! Great ice cream isn't cheap, and cheap ice cream isn't good.

The Chocolate Shoppe Ice Cream shop is THE BEST ice cream I've had in my life, as far as I remember. Blue Moon and Superman (Super Human?) are my faves, but Yippe Skippy, Exhausted Parent, and the one with the expletive in it I can't remember the name!), they're all amazing. Everything I have tried has been exceptional. Highly, highly recommend, more than 5 stars!

Service with a smile. We were greeted as soon as we walked through the door. I tried a root beer float and the cotton candy ice cream. Both were delicious. We will definitely be back.

Waited in line, looked at ice cream. A big group of people came in and after they got everyone in front of me checked out. I moved forward so the big group could look at flavors and waited by the register to order my ice cream and they served everyone else before me that was apart of the group that came in after me. Then told me to go back by the ice cream to order while they checked the people out that were there after me. Won’t be going back. :(

I'm sorry but this is far away from a great ice cream. Cherry chocolate chip was tasteless, just pieces of cherry had some flavor, no chocolate chips. Espresso something had a feint taste of Espresso. 5 stars for the interior and service but 2 stars for the ice cream it self.

I would not recommend this place because they charge you extra for using a credit card and they don't even tell you about the extra charge ahead of time. So many small business owners are shooting themselves in the foot by punishing their customers for paying with a card when so few people carry much cash any more. To me, the cost to the business owner for accepting credit cards is a cost of business that should be included in the price of the product or service. Additionally, people tend to spend more when they use credit cards so it actually pays for itself in the long run.

Go out of your way to visit! They have fantastic ice cream, and even better - creative desserts that you don't normally find at your run-of-the-mill ice cream joint. They have plenty of unique flavors, and all the dipped cones to boot. There is a special case filled with an impressive variety of chocolate dipped cheesecakes, dipped bananas, and ice cream cookie sandwiches (chocolate dipped too of course). I saw a family coming out with their "ice cream nachos", which I am DEFINITELY going to try next time. So they've got the goods, what else could you want?How about super friendliness? I remarked to my family how friendly the people were, not pushy, and seemingly enjoying their time working. This is uncommon to see in my experience. Both people there were giving off good vibes that even my daughter said the guy who gave her the cookie ice cream sandwich seemed genuinely pleased with her choice. Well, that's about all you could ask for right?BUT WAIT! THERE'S MORE! It's located on a corner and they have a clean fenced in area with picnic tables, and even mini-benches if ice cream eaters in your party are children. It's a nice cozy spot and even the other family already seated in the area was friendly. The power of ice cream was on full display today.

Every. Single. Time.It's clean, the employees are stellar, and the ice cream is top notch! I'm always looking for a good excuse (as if I needed one) to stop in and put my yoga pants through their paces. We were treated by Carlos today, and he is just an amazing human! I love it here!

We're from Missouri and we stopped in for some ice cream. Of course I had to try the Blue Moon ice cream but I also had a caramel apple pie in a waffle cone. I'd have to say this was the best ice-cream I've ever had and the staff was polite and courteous. Highly recommend!
