We have gone when it was all ice, and by the time the water splashed against the rocks and hit the trees and us, it was frozen with lots of wind. Next time we went it was 53° and absolutely beautiful. Will definitely go back in the summer and see it again.Restrooms: Spacious

We try and go camping here every year. It's pretty hard to get a site. But when you do, it's worth it! There is no beach, but the views on the water are gorgeous. The site we always get is nicely wooded and very private. There are others that are not. So go on the site and look before you book.

We really enjoyed camping with our RV at Calumet County Park. It was a quieter time in the year (late October).Campsites were well maintained as were the trails. Potable water fill ups and a RV dump station were handy and allowed us to fully leverage our RV without leaving the park.Trails to explore the escarpment and early Native American effigy mounds were very interesting

Very quiet and peaceful when I was there.I noticed that campsites were available and mostly full. Boatlanding was being used and not too crowded for a Tuesday at noon.

One of my favorite parks. Nice and clean many new updates. Close to High cliff state park and wonderful apple orchards in fall.

Great camping. Clean facilities, nice newer pads with water and electric for campers. Amazing views and sunsets. Would definitely recommend.Dog-friendliness: Dog friendly and most people kept their dogs leashed.

Well kept county park that rivals any state park. Large marina for access to the lake. Adding more camping spots and facilities. Whether going for an afternoon picnic or a weekend of camping, you won't find a nicer park to enjoy.Restrooms: Clean heated with showers.Dog-friendliness: Dog allowed leashed with in the whole park.
