The quintessential small town eatery. Before I even got my food, I knew it was going to be good. I walked in to the waitress and a local saying “I’ll have the usual”. Then another couple walks in and the waitress is writing down her order before she is even finished sitting down. How could this not be good???And boy was I right!The stuffed French toast was so flavorful. The tartness of the berries was cut perfectly by the sweetness of the whipped cream. Highly recommend this.And the Philly beef omelette was also on point. Fresh chopped steak with peppers and onions mixed perfectly with Swiss cheese to make a fantastic omelette.I will definitely be back, and so should you! Just make sure to bring cash, since they don’t take cards.Vegetarian options: With delicious items like pancakes covered in berries and cream, I don’t think you can go wrong. If you don’t eat eggs, it might not be a large selection.Parking: They have a nice sized lot with plenty of parking.

Lona's is definitely a spot to go for an awesome breakfast without a doubt. Staff was great service was awesome. Definitely going here again. Leaving here still hungry isn't an option. Ordered the ham and cheese deluxe omelet and wow :)Parking: Huge parking lot right in front of the restaurant. Parking Isn't an issue

Great tasting burger and patty melt with tons of fries! The staff was very friendly. Decent prices. Very nice homemade dessert (apple bars). Salad was a bit small and underwhelming though. Soda sold by the can. No credit cards accepted. We were just passing through hiking the Ice Age Trail, but we’d go back again next time we’re in the area.

I would be a regular here if I didn't live 4 hours away. Stopped in while hiking the Ice Age Trail. Good food and friendly staff. Smaller place but that adds to the atmosphere. Small town feel just like home.

Great service and delicious food. I had the fisherman's breakfast bowl which was plenty hearty for me. My wife had the great cream cheese stuffed French toast! Also delicious.

A great way to start the day before heading to the lake. The most amazing strawberry rhubarb pancakes you've ever seen, or a fresh omelette with local cheeses. You just can't go wrong here.

We were heading back to MN after a weekend in WI, and given that our last name is Haugen, we obviously wanted to stop in Haugen. We stumbled upon Lona's Corner Cafe, and it was an amazing experience. Fast service, delicious food and definitely a local hangout — they'll make you feel welcome even if you're not from around there.

Very reasonably priced small town cafe. Service was good but lacking followup despite the large number of staff present. I had the biscuits and gravy which were good, however the gravy was slightly bland/flour'y tasting, the biscuits were delicious though. I tried part of the meat lovers skillet and that was much better than what I got. Their pecan caramel roll was tasty, though not many pecans. All in all I'd go back to give it a second chance.

It’s always good, I had the hot pork sandwich covered with mashed potatoes and gravy. They serve a great breakfast all day, close at 2:00 pm, in the afternoon.

A group of 4 of us traveling north were looking for a good place to get brunch. We decided on Lona’s Corner Cafe which ended up being the best choice we could have made. The food was amazing, reasonably priced, and the staff were kind and made us feel right at home. Super cute cafe. Loved it so much!!!
