I recently moved to Grantsburg and needed my dog to have a checkup and vaccines renewed. I was very impressed with the polite, courteous, prompt and friendly service at Grantsburg Animal Hospital. My husky isn't always the most cooperative, but the vet techs and vet handled him like he was their own and providing excellent care. 'Chukchi' has new health care providers AND friends!

They are very nice here and there prices are pretty reasonable, but this place is under equipment to handle anything serious. If all you need is a wellness check and some shots they are good for that. I’m not saying they aren’t knowledgeable they just can’t properly deal with a serious issue that requires anything more than out patient care, and if your animal does require more they may not tell you that. Last February my male cat was having urinary issues and I brought him here for treatment, they took him in and looked at him they flushed out his bladder and sent us home with some medication, the next day he blocked again. We brought him back, this time they drained his bladder gave us more meds and sent us home. Next day same thing. This time we see Dr. Laura she was the only one through this whole nightmare that came out and said they couldn’t provide the care he needed. I wish we would have seen her at the outset. They chargedme almost $2,000 by this time and my cat is in the same position perhaps even worse than at the start. I was told by Dr. Laura I need to take him to a 24 hour emergency care vet he needed full admittance for a few days and they estimated a cost of at least $3,000 after I’ve already spent $2,000 . Unfortunately I was tapped and really couldn’t afford another $3,000 so I was forced to put him down all because they didn’t tell me up front that they were unable to provide the care he needed. If they would have told me that I would probably still have him now. Their isn’t a day that goes by that I don’t regret taking him here.

Everyone was very friendly and efficient. My cat was there for a neuter so I did not get to see the staff interact with him. I presume they were all very kind. When I picked him up, he was not even scared and was in good condition. When I got home he acted as though nothing had happened. Very happy with their service!

I am visiting from out of state. My dog got ill. I was very worried. I called Grantsburg vet. They got me in same day. I was so grateful. They did sone work ups,, gave me meds and she is doing awesome again.. she is older so she is fragile. The whole staff is so kind and helpful. The atmosphere is very friendly!!

I can't begin to tell you how amazing the staff here are! They worked diligently to help work my dog into the schedule last minute as a new patient when she was sick. I called right before close and not only did Erica the tech help me figure out an appointment she even called me back at work to get me an earlier time. She and Dr. Megan went above and beyond expectations to make sure my dog Aurora was seen and cared for within a timely fashion. They were all very educational and helped me come up with a treatment plan. I am so thankful for all the hard work from the staff there.

The front desk staff were great. They were friendly and helpful. I was surprised at the cost. It was quite a bit higher then the vet I had been attending so considering my current vet is closer I will return to them. The stars are more for the cost.then friendliness.Considering I was a first time customer coming in on an very important visit I would have liked to received a follow up call.

The Grantsburg Animal Hospital has always been there for us. We have many animals, and living in the country allows them quite a bit of freedom. Freedom to find trouble (damn porcupines must taste really good), and the Grantsburg Animal Hospital has always been available to help us. They have consistently treated our animals as if they were their own, giving them the best treatment and TLC. Not only have they been wonderful to our animals, but they have been wonderful with us as well. Quick to reassure us, honest with treatment options, and incredibly fair with pricing. I would absolutely recommend their services. Definitely 5 stars!!!

Very through. Did blood work before my dogs surgery and found out my dog had Lyme disease. So was able to postpone surgery until it is cleared up. Staff friendly and helpful. Very positive experience.

We've taken every cat and dog we've ever had to Grantsburg Animal Hospital. They know what they are doing and provide quality service.
