Kid friendly and dogs are allowed on the patio! They have root beer but if your child is anti-bubbles like mine they have juice pouches. There isn't a full menu all the time but the pizzas are available anytime and not your average frozen pizza, it was really tasty. There was a handful of boardgames and yardgames to keep everyone happy while finishing that last pint.

Great beer, great food, great staff, and great atmosphere.They have a large variety of beers to select from which is why I love flights here. I had the Philly cheesesteak but my wife's mushroom and onion cheesesteak was better by far. The kids all loved their burgers. The fries and curds are good but the loaded beer cheese fries is the way to go.The kids also loved being able to play bags while we waited and listed to music. As for music, there is live music in the summer most Thursday's-Sunday's which enhances the already great experience.

Great Beer, Great Location, Great Staff! They are expanding and more then doubling their production. The outside patio is great, super comfy vibe and the big firepit with chairs surrounding it was fun. The selection and diversity of beers on tap was Amazing. I ended up with the strawberry smoothie sour...yummmm! Well worth the stop of your passing through.

This place is quite frankly a hidden gem in this town! Great selection of beer on tap as well as cans and growlers that you can take to-go. I also tried their strawberry pineapple hard seltzer and it was sooo tasty! Prices are very reasonable and affordable. They have a super nice, big, open patio with a bonfire pit that overlooks the lake! Very family and dog friendly!! The building is new, updated, clean, has a rustic feel, and defiantly cozy. Staff was on top of it as well!! We visited in the fall of 2020 and it was everything we expected and more! They even had a TEMPORARY portable brick fired pizza crew which was an awesome bonus to our visit. Such a treat! I’ve heard that it’s common for them to have food trucks that visit on some weekends! You can’t go wrong with good beer, great company and pizza! 🍺

This place has so much promise, but it comes up just a little short in a few areas. First the good. The staff is friendly. The building is a historical gem. There's an amazing patio with firepit, and lawn games (bags and jenga). The seating consists primarily of large wooden benches that have character. There also are a few Adirondack chairs outside. The facility and grounds were clean (despite massive road construction outside). There is a larger selection and quantity of beer than I anticipated. The double IPA was particularly excellent (one of the best I've ever had). They have reasonably priced snacks and surprisingly good frozen pizza. The pricing on growlers was reasonable. There is plenty of non alcoholic drinks for adults, including kamboocha, sparkling water and diet pop.Now the areas for improvement... The website contains misleading information that certain beers are in tap, when they are not. They have a phone number, but no actual person answers the phone. It is just a canned recording. The staff isn't as efficient as it could be (it took longer than you'd expect to get a drink when there was a relatively small line). The quality of the beer was really hit and miss. A few of the beers I felt were very subpar (keeping in mind we are all spoiled with the large amount of craft breweries that have amazing beer), and most were average at best. There is no parking lot, only on street parking. There was no music or televisions playing sports. There needs to be a better selection of drinks for kids. There could be a larger variety of snacks available.

What a gem! Great beer (including cans and growlers to take back to your campsite) and great people. The pizzas that they have are really "quite fine" (I had several over the two weeks I was in the area) but do your best to make it when the food truck is onsite!Adam, the brewmaster, makes GREAT STUFF so try it all :-)

I live in Illinois and spend my Labor day vacation kayaking/camping on the St. Croix river/Namekagon river. For three years now I have been coming to Grantsburg for Brickfield Brewing. Fantastic brews with a clean and welcoming building. The patio is the best spot to enjoy an ice cold adult beverage. Every time I visit, I buy as much canned beer as I can to take home. It's that good! Can't wait to go back next year! Keep up the good work!

Great selection of beer and merch. Awesome patio area. The only downside is that some 4 packs of cans were out until the next day, so I couldn't take all my favorites home, but I grabbed what I could. They also don't have crowlers, but Growlers are an option. Would totally recommend to anyone visiting the area.

The beer I tried was all pretty good. Big Bad Wolf was my favorite. They had music the day we stopped and was quite busy which is maybe the reason for the bartender being kinda rude. Other than that its a cool little spot to try some crafted beer...

Great small town brewery. Extremely busy on Sunday Funday. You've got to try their Big Bad Wolf stout. It has bits of cocoa, coffee and aged in a bourbon barrel. Their food truck uses farm raised beef from their own family farm.

Great Building. Awesome decor. Great beer selection with a style for each one in our group of four.Old Creamery Milk Stout was my favorite.Use the vanilla ice cream in the freezer to make a milk stout float!!!!

I was skeptical at first, but I have to admit that Brickfield Brewing is pretty great. I haven’t visited more than a handful of times, but each time I find a beer that I really like. The atmosphere is great, they seem to host some cool events, and from what I hear the pizza is good too (can’t say from experience, personally). All in all, a very welcome addition to the area!

The Blood Orange Blonde on tap is good, and the Brew Pub pizza is great, and the friendly staff are wonderful after a long day of touristing! If you're unsure whether you'll like a particular flavor, ask for a sample and advice from the staff. Very family friendly and low key. We'll be back!

My girlfriend and I were here for an adult beverage and played bingo. We had a great time. Definitely will be back. I had their Wood River Witbier. It was so good. Pizza they serve is a frozen pizza, and that was very good too.

Awesome family-owned brewery! The variety is great to see, everything from west and east coast IPA’s, easy-drinking ales, and unique barrel-aged stouts. The firepit area on their patio is nice, and they have board games that can make it a fun spot to hang out with a friend or a casual date night.They only have frozen pizzas for food, but they often have food trucks. Check their social media, website, or call to check.To-go growlers and cans are a great way to enjoy Brickfield all week long!

An excellent brewery! The taproom is in a very cool, old historic co-op building. I had an IPA and an Italian pilsner, in that order, and both were great. They also have a freezer full of locally-farmed meats for sale, which I think is really cool. Next time we're in the area, we will stop here again.

Awesome brewery with a huge selection, interesting brews and a beautiful setting. We had a flight with 4 totally different beers and all were very tasty. The taproom is beautiful inside and out and it's easy to picture whiling away a great afternoon staring at the lake or sitting around the fire pit.

Excellent beer and great variety. The imperial stout was phenomenal and up there with the likes of surly darkness (not to mention at a fraction of the cost). The off sale options are great as well.

We finally made the short trip to this wonderful gem. The atmosphere was very welcoming; the staff was friendly and knowledgeable about their beers. The pizza was much better than anticipated. I was surprised that they didn’t have pretzels like most other breweries but they did offer a nice selection of other snacks. We’re looking forward to visiting in other seasons and enjoying the outdoor games and seating area.
