I have never been to that part of the river before, and I was having boat issues. Pulled in from the docks, and the owner was super helpful in helping me any way he could. Anyone else would have easily dismissed that, but he went above and beyond. I would definitely recommend going here because of the hospitality and friendly environment.

I grew up vacationing here many summers with my parents and 4 brothers when it was Larry & Jan’s Resort. I caught a lot of trophy worthy Northern Pike off the end of the piers. It has since changed names and is now Clemins River Resort. Now, as an adult, I get the luxury of meeting with Pat Clemins several times per year for work and enjoy seeing how well he has kept this wonderful vacation spot for families and fishermen alike. If you’re looking for somewhere to vacation with your family or have a weekend fishing trip, there is no shortage of special memories or great fishing here.

Tremendous place to stay! Great customer service. The Clemins family as hosts, are genuine and caring people. If you stay long enough or often enough, I'm sure they become friends, and like family as well. If you need for anything- all you really need to do is ask. Sunsets are incredible most evenings. I highly recommend Clemins for a peaceful taste of vintage tranquility. Absolutely enjoyed my time there.

The resort is clean, spacious and charming. The owners went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. We are a family of 7 adults. We take a Wisconsin trip every summer and this one was by far our favorite. We will make this a yearly tradition. The grounds are beautiful and we had a wonderful time grilling, boating, playing lawn games and hanging out. A perfect family weekend!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay during the summer. The premises were recently remodeled, with our room being clean and comfortable. The courtyard was very well landscaped and the entire property was well maintained. Pride in ownership was evident everywhere. We look forward to our next visit and have already informed family and friends of this little gem.

Nice setting on the river. Parking is not the best and minimal. The place is older and has many quirks where doors don't work properly, concrete walks uneven, ceiling fans wobble and noisy, etc. Shower was very tight. For fishermen not a big issue but spouses mat think otherwise. Room was clean and price is reasonable. Bait shop on premises, private launch, fish cleaning station and decent pier parking. Nice setting outside to sit back and enjoy.

Awesome place. pat and Yvonne are great hosts that will try to make you feel as comfortable as possible. Bait and tackle on site boat rental if you need. Already booked for next year

New owners completed a lot of new upgrades and are extremely friendly.fishing didn't go with the program, but that's fishing. We will definitely be back in the future and would recommend this resort to all.

Clemins River Resort is a great family spot. Owners are excellent hosts, very relaxed atmosphere and lots of fun on the water. Local restaurants were great too.

Just why one is looking for when fishing in Fremont. Pat and the crew will rent you a place and boat and give you pointers. I can’t recommend this place enough.
