I go here often. They do have a variety of stuff and pretty good prices. There are some employees that are nice and some that are rude and not helpful. I can't wait to see what the upgraded Family Dollar looks like.

I was very dissatisfied and disappointed with this store. The workers were rude and not helpful. I had asked for a price check on an item and it came up to be more than what was advertised on the shelf so I did not want it. While being rung out the cashier could hardly communicate with me and seemed like she was very confused on how to bag my items. She handed me a bag half full then rang up the remaining items while handing them to me to put them in my one bag I still was holding. The Items I didnt want where the trays because they rang up higher, and right after I paid the other cashier walked over and told me they next time I didnt want an item, I should go put them back myself because they were close to closing. So I said sure I could go do it now and that made her even more mad and the expression on her face made me want to never go back. I did explain that those items had a different price in them and she went on in the rudest voice I have heard come from a customer service employee say that someone put a stack of them in the wrong place because they were not supposed to be where I got them from...well I never showed her where I got them from and they were in fact in the right spot because I have seen them before. My bad for not wanting something that was more expensive than it advertised. I guess I will not be shopping at this family dollar ever again. The one by the park is much more friendlier and you won't have to listen to the workers trying to get a date with the customers who walk in either. The mean cashier was heavy hitting on a make customer the entire time I was there making it uncomfortable to be around there. Not exactly what children in the store need to see or hear. Take a tip and go to one of the other 2 family dollars in town.

Not only is the store a mess the workers engage in customer to customer disputes even going as far as saying "I'd throat punch her" all because one customer assumed another was trying to cut line by going to the next open register while she was already being helped at the register she was at! These women were disgusting! My family and I will never step foot in this family dollar again!

Horrible, customer service! Gotta wait at the register a long time before they come and attend you! I will be calling a district manager because I was refused service because I asked the attendant if she can be faster , because I had to go! Shs stated that she can refuse me service because of my attitude wnd I was real nice about it! This is why I will never ever be back to this family dollar garbadge customer service and trashy workers! It's a shame!!!!

Why is it that a manager walks up to open a drawer for an employee, then turns around and leaves while playing on his phone? There were 8 separate sales at the register with only one lane left open.Update: the manager came up to open a drawer as I was checking out. Perhaps he has to finish something before opening the drawer. I'll change my review from a 1 star to 3.

Today I came in & forgot my wallet at home with my card in it & had 35 in cash on had with me , I felt bad for asking the cashier for taking some items off my purchase I could tell she was new , I think she kinda saw my frustration in my face & anxiety , she came over and payed some of my payment so I could be on my way . The nicest thing an employee has ever done in my life .

Typical family dollar retail store.1. Employee's busy talking to one another .2. Isle's blocked with stock waiting to be put on the shelves.3. Cashier clearly did not want to be at work didn't say anything to me except for the total of my my purchases.

It's a decent chain.. prices are inline on most stuff...BUT it really depends what the location is. Some stores just aren't well kept

Good selection, and usually good prices. Not the cleanest place. Watch your prices. Some things are cheaper elsewhere, but overall good prices.
