I've been passing the Edgewater for years. When the opportunity came to stay there. I wasn't disappointed. The room was ready and waiting for us. Even fresh coffee with filters for the full-size coffee maker. Fidge microwave and kitchen sink. This room had a large jacuzzi tub, but i didn't get a chance to use it. Everything was wonderful. I will definitely stay again.

We love (prefer) Door Co in the off-season! The Edgewater Resort is in a great location, with just enough open on either side in Fish Creek and Sister Bay. There are plenty of options for hiking, shopping, restaurants, walking the beaches, and watching the waves. The staff at Edgewater was friendly, accommodating, and efficient. Our suite overlooked the bay. It was spacious, comfortable, and well-appointed. We'll be back.

Room was nice and clean. Was pretty disappointed that we didn't get what we thought was part of the room. Every place we've stayed that has a "kitchenette" has some sort of portable stove top or griddle and this place didn't. We had to then spend more money going out to breakfast even though we had brought our own food to make. On the website it was pretty vague.

I booked 2 nights for our 1 year anniversary. I called ahead to ask if they had a hot tub. The employee said there was a hot tub in our room. Great! We arrive and the room they tried to give us was a closet with a bed. I asked at the desk if there was some mix up. This being my gift to my husband for our 1 year anniversary I paid the extra $160 for an "upgrade."There was a jet tub that was filthy. We tried running a couple cycles of water through but there were particles come out.The thermostats kept adjusting back to 72. It was at least 75 each time we were in the room. We opened the windows at night and turned the AC on in the front room. At one point I kept the door completely open to help cool the place off.Don't use the dishes. They were dirty.

My husband and I head to Door County in the off-season for quiet get-aways. Lately, our location of choice is the Edgewater Resort in Ephraim. The rooms are cozy and clean, the staff is friendly and helpful, and the location is quiet, but within a short drive of fun shopping, galleries, and restaurants when we want a change of pace. We love everything about our visits and are already planning our next one.

We stayed in the studio cottage with our two dogs and it was perfect for what we were looking for. Cute, clean, and very dog friendly. The only downsides were that the fish boil is feet from our cottage which wasn't listed anywhere when we booked and isn't the most ideal when you're looking for a quieter space for dogs. We also had originally booked the studio cottage for 2 nights, then the 1 bedroom for our 3rd night, and they switched us day of via email to the studio for all 3 nights. This wasn't a big problem for us, just wasn't the best communication had we been planning on using the kitchen that cabin offered or having guests with a larger space. Added bonus is the old post office breakfasts, and was walkable to several things in the area!

I called and needed a room for my wife and I and our 2 labs. One night stay. Staff was super polite and friendly and had a room open for one night The place is immaculate. The atmosphere and front desk service was above and beyond. I understand a two or three night stay in peak season in Door County … but we got lucky and there was a one night stay available. We live in Milwaukee Area but are also Door County residents and can honestly say of all the resorts , house rentals , etc … this is our favorite. Trust when the locals say stay here !!! Thank You for accommodating us even thought it was one night , we’ll be lifelong guests !!!

Perfect in every way. Great location in the village of Ephraim. Our room had a fantastic porch with rocking chairs where we enjoyed a glass of wine while looking at the water. We used the fireplace throughout our stay. Our room was immaculately clean and very comfortable. It was nice having a full kitchen, even if we only heated leftovers. The shower had great water pressure and got hot fast. Fast WIFI and good cable TV. Comfortable bed and couch. Will definitely stay here every time we visit DC.

By the grace of God we had a couple nights off from our kids and were able to sneak away to Door County. Now the hard part is finding a place that will sell a one night stay and thankfully Edgewater was one of them.We had never stayed here, but for us it was perfect. The room was spacious and clean with a nice fireplace which was a nice addition. Some hotels will not sell a single night stay even last minute which makes no sense to me, but to each their own. The restaurant on site looked nice , but unless I was mistaken the dinner menu was beyond limited. Either way the stay worked for us and if we need to get back up this way will definitely keep them in mind.

//Highly Recommend// 2nd time staying here, absolutely amazing!! one of the most clean places I have stayed at, normally I have to re clean the room. I travel with cleaner and paper towels because I have had such a horrible experience atalmost ever place I have stayed at. The Edgewater Resort gets a A+ for being one of the only place I haven't had to re clean. The service is super helpful and kind. Thank you for being so amazing we look forward to coming back again ❤️

Lovely water view from our room balcony. Our room was clean and well equipped with a comfortable bed. Full size coffee pot in room was a plus and resort provided filters and coffee. Ephraim is a quaint village with several good restaurants and Wilson's ice cream shop. The resort has a pool,, sandy beach and pier.. Beautiful sunsets too. Highly recommend Edgewater Resort and Ephraim.

We came up for a long weekend in December and The Edgewater is amazing! Full kitchen, jacuzzi tub, fireplace, huge bathroom, everything we wanted. The front desk was friendly, informative and helped us plan our weekend. The bed was great with 7 pillows and a fireplace at the foot of the bed. Probably the cleanest room ever. Will stay here every trip to Door County moving forward!

Edgewater Resort is located in a quiet little town. We loved the peacefulness of the area. We stayed in Room 302 (Water Suite) overlooking the water. We enjoyed having our coffee in the morning on the spacious deck. The kitchen was well equipped with everything you need. The fireplaces were beautiful, and the furniture was up-to-date. The only thing I would change would be having different blankets on the bed. The blanket was really hard and heavy. It wasn't as comfortable as I'd like. If you are looking for a relaxing place to stay, this is it! The staff was so accommodating as well! Oh, and be sure to note, there is no elevator, so if you plan on staying on the third floor like we did, be prepared to walk up 6 flights of stairs. They really aren't that bad though! We got our exercise after eating all the delicious Door County food!

First time in Door county this time of year, here for an anniversary weekend. Spent countless hours searching for a room with a private hot tub all over Wisconsin, this is one of the best options I was able to find (a jetted tub in the room). The cutest place I’ve ever stayed, we love it (already writing this and we’ve only been here a few hours). A lovely, cozy, beachy apartment all to ourselves. Very quiet this time of year both inside and out as there aren’t many visitors right now. Already talking about coming back in the summer to enjoy the outdoor pool. Highly recommend for a cozy getaway!

We loved our stay at the Edgewater! The room was very cozy and was SO clean when we arrived! Staff is friendly and responsive. The location is amazing. The sunset is just beautiful from this resort. We could also get to several great hiking spots and some amazing restaurants within 20 minutes. We would definitely stay again. The only reason I give 4 and not 5 stars is that the bed was not comfortable and neither was the couch, so we did struggle a bit to relax at night. Overall a great experience though.

Great location and very clean. Patrick was very accommodating and helpful during our stay. Our room was very large and had great views of the bay and sunset. The full kitchen is stocked with pots, pans, utensils, and a dishwasher. The resort is located just a short drive from many of the state and local parks in the area. If you are traveling with a dog, call to reserve as there are only a few dog-friendly rooms. I would recommend this resort during any season!

Best place to enjoy a weekend getaway !The area is nice being in the center you can visit north and south of the peninsula, easy access.The cottage NR 128 was very clean, spacious for 2 people, nice hot water, great heating and cooling if needed.

I feel the General Manager Patrick could have been a little more polite with his response. Peak season or not, Individuals that book ahead of time should be respected with accommodation for a single night stay. Not a minimum of 3 night stays.Please review this with the business/ marketing department. There should be a few roo. That can accommodate walk ins or even passing through Individuals.

Absolutely wonderful. We came here for our 5 year anniversary and couldn't be happier. Great rooms. Really big with jacuzzi tub and full kitchen. My only tiny complaint would be that the particular room we had was suppose to be waterfront but our main living room windows faced the back of the resort and the bedroom window kinda faced the water. You'd have to have bedroom blinds open, which we didn't want, in order to see the water and you'd have to stand in the corner of the room too. All was good though since you literally walk across the road to get to the water. We took a couple walks out there and got wonderful views. Next time I will know which room to request. All and all, great place. Perfect location, clean room, and friendly staff. Definitely coming back.
