Awful customer service experience.Ordered cabinet doors. Was told it would take 2-3 weeks to show up and I would be notified when they do arrive. Never contacted in any form.Contacted the store, it was ready to pickup.Went to pickup the doors, associates were scrambling trying to find the items. Probably took about 20 minutes sitting at Order Pickup to get my items.Brought them home, one of the doors is badly damaged. Contacted store, an employee told me I'd have to pay a fee to return the item, even though Menards gave it to me damaged. Later that night a manager called me and said I could keep the door, and a new one will be reordered for me and I will be contacted in 10-14 days to pick it up. All is well, he described the correct door.Waited more than 14 days, not a single call. I contacted the store, they said it was ready to be picked up. Non-manager guy in Cab Apps told me to drop off the door even if the manager told me to keep the damaged one.I bring in the damaged door to returns. Took about 15 minutes to be printed off my special order slip to pick it up in back. Go to pick it up and what do you know, it's the wrong door! Was told to go BACK to returns to fix it, and that I may have to pay a fee...I go BACK to returns, took about another 10-15 minutes to be told I will have to wait another 1-2 weeks AGAIN to get the correct door. I was given my damaged one back in the mean time.I wasted over an hour of my time over the Store's mismanagement or miscommunication. Every time I shop at Menards and have an issue with an item my trust in them decreases.If I encounter another issue at Menards East I'm done with Menards. This experience has been the most frustrating shopping experience in my entire life.

They didn’t have window well covers in stock and so they encouraged us to buy part #020600902 which had to be ordered and had pictures showing the shape that should fit our window wells. We went ahead and ordered 1 to make sure it would fit okay and made sure measurements were correct. First we had poor and rude customer service at pickup, then when we got home we saw the quality was sub par and the shape was incorrect. The box was also open on both ends and has obviously been mishandled. When I went to return, the lady at customer service was rude and huffing and puffing every other word. She advised me then of the 25% restocking fee costing us $140. Thank goodness we didn’t order the 4 we needed, they would’ve charged us a $560 restocking fee. From this day forward, we will go out of our way and willing to pay more to avoid this place, and highly recommend staying away. The restocking fee is outrageous but understand it’s in the fine print, it’s the attitude we got from employees here and complete disregard for customer service that was so frustrating to deal with.

Came here to pick up an online order for my brother. Went to the online pick-up area in the back of the store. Then, I was told to pick up the rest in the back. So I picked up part of the order, then had to head to the lumber warehouse to get the rest. Just to end up sitting there with my truck and trailer for easily 45 minutes to even get in the warehouse to pick it up. As a delivery semi was parked right in the middle, making it impossible to make the turn into the warhouse. Would have been nice to know I couldn't access it because of the delivery or, better yet, maybe have the stuff ready if the warehouse wouldn't be accessible. Unfortunately, I can't post a photo, or I would.

We recently purchased 75, 2x6x8 pressure treated boards. We went to pick it up & the young man working in the lumber yard stood there & watched as my husband & I loaded all the boards into the truck. It took us 30 minutes while he just stood there. We are both in our 70’s.

Manager Annette was really helpful today! I'm working on a project, and I rudely interrupted her hard at work to inquire about something. She stopped what she was doing and got everything I needed squared away. I've been to this loc quite a bit since moving here and it's a good team.

i called twice in regards to returning an almost 300$ carpet cleaner that i had used once, and had for a week. my dog chewed the cord & it stopped working. the first lady i talked too said i could print a receipt at the kiosk there & return it. i called again to ask about the box & how to return it without because it was beat up. he said i could not return it and went on a tangent about how to fix the cord. the cord is not long enough to fix the way he told me too i’d have less than a foot of cord length. i’m very upset that i could not return it because i spent a LOT of money on it & had it for less than two weeks. do better.

Nicole, front end manager, is fabulous. She took the time to investigate and persevere until the issue was resolved for my mother. Nicole was extremely professional and kind. Menards is fortunate to have her. A bright light for the store. Much appreciation to Nicole and Menards.

Went to the store on 04JUN2023. Everyone was very helpful. The cashier could have been a bit nicer, and needs to learn how to bag the things people purchase. Chemicals with chemicals, CO Detectors with CO Detectors, etc. I get they are to conserve on bags they use per customer, but when chemicals are HARMFUL, they should be in a bag alone, not with Electrical components. A little disappointed in the service given when leaving the store.

I have limited mobility issues and it's extremely disappointing there are only 2 motorized carts that don't seem to have been updated or replaced in the 18 yrs I've shopping there. I've had to leave & return a different day because a cart wasn't available or charged. Finding a sales associate is also hit or miss. I was fortunate to to find a gentleman who was very helpful. With his assistance, I felt confident I was buying the correct product for my project. The 2nd trip was again a search for sales associate. When I finally was able to have one come into the department I was shopping in, she was very pleasant and placed item in my cart. Answered all my questions

I don’t know why I ever bother going to Menards. I just spent an hour and a half looking for items for a building project, asked for help multiple times, and nobody seem to care. It was like I was invisible, and this is how it always is at Menards. It’s too bad Menards has a monopoly on the area because Home Depot is way better.

One of the better Menards location and better selection than other stores. The employees here is more friendly and helpful, also have a great prices with a decent selection of tools and lumber. Just might need to look over the lumber before picking. The store is busy during peak hours but plenty of parking and lines to checkout.

Employees stock their shelves wrong and customer is at fault when prices don’t ring up correctly. Manager (Austin) refuses to acknowledge his store is improperly stocked. Front end managers will talk about you when they leave and make crude comments.

Not impressed. Over priced for one, but the nice man who helped me get my washer and dryer today was great! He wasn't pushy, showed me options, super nice. Then there was Erin who is in the delivery department standing behind plexiglass with a mask on thinks she can dictate to me to pull my mask up. Last time shopping at that place, I'll be headed to MN to home depot from now on. If you enjoy freedom shop elsewhere.

I found a lot of Christmas gifts here. There's a large toy section. I was especially impressed with the amount of baby toys there is to choose from. The staff were friendly and helpful. This should be the first store you visit for all your shopping needs.

I recently visited this store and what service I received! It was wonderful!Catie in the paint department, was an excellent ambassador for service at this Menards store. She was knowledgable, helpful, cheerful, professional and courteous. She guided me through the store, helped me with finding everything on my considerable list & assisted in lifting heavier objects. She was a breath of fresh air for this senior.

All your construction needs and then some. Staff very friendly and helpful. Just remember, once you give them your money, they keep it! 11% off simply means you get a rebate to spend...you guessed it, at Menards.

Mt most recent visit was a little disappointing. Needed help in hardware. Three people were waiting to talk to one guy who was on the phone helping someone out of state. It sounded like he was trying to find the nearest store for a particular item. That's ok, but not when live customers are waiting 10-15 minutes.

We visit often especially since my boyfriend started to work at the headquarters in town, the staff is very nice and very knowlegable of their respective departments. Always have great deals and I like coming here to look for plants for my potted garden. Our most recent visit it was a short stop to look at folding camping chairs, of which they have a great selection of for many different weight capacities and styles. They also happened to restock on succulents when we stopped by so i was able to pick up a live plant that was well taken care of.

Typically it's a great place for all home project needs at a great price. But under the circumstances of today the store was a bit congested and overly sprayed with whatever form of sanitation they're using. In store maybe 20min and left with a huge headache from the smell. Had I been able to get what I wanted online I would've went that route. I like Menards generally but today's experience was not the greatest.

We went back to exchange some laminated flooring. No hassle. Just went up to the service desk, and the clerks were very helpful. They have a very good selection of home improvement products.

Drove all the way there to pick up and item that the website says in stock. Couldn’t find them, asked the rude lady in hardware. Turns out they put them away for the season. If you’re not going to sell the stuff then don’t list it as in stock on the website. Ended up ordering the same one on Amazon.

They have all you need for construction projects of all types. The staff is usually helpful, with the occasional not so helpful person...Picking up supplies from the yard is simple, tho the guards could be more helpful telling you where you need to go.For the most part, it's a great store for construction needs, paint, hardware, supplies, beds, appliances, etc...
