Store manager refused to replace a $1 Cross Plague item I left behind. I shop at this family dollar every 2 weeks for well over $50 worth of house items. I will no longer be doing business here. She even refused to check cameras and I had my receipt of proof that I purchase the item. Cheap & Unprofessional Establishment! To not even try is what’s so shameful when I paid my hard earned money for that item regardless of if it was a $1. I paid for that item that was indeed left behind !

Selection is good and most of the staff is friendly. Except for this guy who currently works there, walking around the store and standing at the register with his mask on his chin COUGHING. Doesn’t say anything while checking out making it really awkward. If you have to go to one in Eau claire and care about your health, choose elsewhere.

The manager with the short red hair rushed us out at closing time, online the store says it closes at 10pm not 9pm so we did rush to the counter with what we had. Then she wouldn't accept manufacturer coupons saying it's her discretion and saying she has alot of fraud with coupons...what?...after arguing with her for a bit as the coupon clearly states it's the right item she takes the coupon, all the while she continues to be rude and short with us and her staff also. I did not get my receipt and had to knock on the door to ask for it and that's when I discovered she took the coupon yes but she did not take it off the price. I will not be returning to this family dollar on birch st. Very unprofessional.

The coupons that were displayed in store were not valid. Employees would NOT accomodate and were not at all enthusiastic to help. In fact when I spoke to the cashier he continued to walk and act as if i didn't speak. No alternative to the loss not even a apology.

I’ve been going to this family dollar for the past 7 years.I won’t be going anymore! The cashier Michelle was extremely rude. Also this store false advertises. I went in to purchase deodorant which was on sale for 1.00$, get to the register and it rang up 3.75$, I explained to the cashier that the deordant had a for sale sign on it, and she says that not right, goes over to the deodorant rips off the for sale tag and says look around it’s for sale tags all over this store that don’t belong. I stared at her confused and asked to speak to the manager. Her manager Camilla comes to the register, I calmly explain the situation, and ask her if I could purchase the deodorant for the price that they advertised. She said to me unfortunately the stockers screwed up and placed for sale tags on items that weren’t actually on sale, she also stated that I could purchase the deodorant for 3.75 not 1.00 and to hurry up bc I was holding her line up. I had about 65$ Worth of merchandise not including the deodorant on the counter, and I said to her well u can put all these items back I won’t purchasing any of them. I stated that I was not pleased with her customer service. And the manager CAMILLA says where do you think u are Walmart?Michelle chuckled, I left the store immediately and drove to Walmart. Needless to say the customer service experience at Walmart was fantastic and their items were actually cheaper! I don’t recommend anyone to shop at family Dollar on Birch Steet! Horrible experience!

I can't shop there anymore because the cashiers say "Hun" every other word. It's creepy and weird. "hey Hun, you finding what you need Hun?" Sounds so desperate for attention. Makes me feel very uncomfortable.

Shopping at FD is nice, it is just the right size to walk around and look at some items (at good prices) that you didn't know you could use.

Quick and easy for general home items. Not very trendy decor for sale. Perfect place for soap, hair ties, and misc generic home items.

I always like shopping at Family Dollar. They had a new employee/lady who was training on. She was very nice. 😊

They were open Xmas eve. Saved me cuz i ran out of dog food and no one was going to be open for the next 2 days who had pet food
